"Tanii Henthall,"I mumbled as I lay on the floor looking up at the supposed ceiling of the Tent.

We did not have a bed or comfortable blankets; instead, all we had were sheets crafted from leather to use as coverings for ourselves.

Being far from what I was accustomed to made it difficult for me to sleep.

As I lay awake, the first thing that came to mind was the image of a girl with white-grey hair, emerald green eyes, long lashes, and pink, juicy lips.

She truly was a marvel, possessing a beauty that seemed otherworldly altogether.

If I were to compare her to Ari, the girl I loved in my previous life, Tanii surpassed any previous standard.

While Ari possessed admirable qualities that any man would value in a woman, Tanii... Even though I had only just met her, she stirred emotions within me that were difficult to articulate.
