Noble Emblem

A young Brave walked out of his village, gathered companions to his side, defeated the Great Demon King, became famous, then came back with beauties in hand! This was a legend that appears in the world of Seyrol every 200 years! Our protagonist, however, isn’t a Brave. Even so, for over a thousand years his figure has loomed throughout its history. Unwittingly, the name of the Red Priest began to resound throughout the world. Red Priest’s legend included extraordinary sword techniques and magic, erudite knowledge, and an almost prophetic ability to lead young Braves toward the proper path. People of the world think of him as a descendent of the ancient Golden Race which led to his omnipotence. In essence, however, this was just the characteristics of the profession known as ‘Noble’. A word from the fabulousest translator/editor on Earth which is me I took upon this translation/editing project for the same reason I started translating my first Chinese novel. There are just too many big ass gems buried in a deep cesspool. I've long guessed that Qidian stopped introducing good Chinese novels on this platform in order to give some breathing room for English (and other) originals, but I don't agree with such approach. From a reader's standpoint, it is such a shame that we don't even know how many brilliant works we are missing because of the language barrier. To be honest, I'm mainly copypasting from the site called Novelhi. It is a really good resource and their machine translation is the best I've seen so far, and they also translate up to the latest available chapter. Still, they have several issues. For some reason they always miss the last paragraph which make you can missout on a potentially very important information related to a story, and they also have parts where just a couple of words gets repeated for a whole paragraph and it actually replaces the original text. They also translate an ad together with a chapter which is immersion breaking. I'll be correcting the inherent sins of such MTL with manual editing and translation and I will also polish some rough edges so that the readers will have as much seemless reading experience as possible. You will definitely have a better time reading this than me for sure

It's all the fault of time

Beta frowned hard after hearing that. "The Advanced Elven Summoner is a rare class? If that's the case, why didn't he think so when he saw Alice when he met Ans last year? "

Julie was slightly surprised. "You know Elder Ans?"

"I've met him a few times." Beta nodded. "As far as I know, there are as many Elven Summoners as there are Druids."

In the game, Elven Summoners were indeed a high proportion of the elves. There were even rumors that Druids were as common as dogs and Elven Summoners were everywhere. It was also because of the two powerful classes that the elves were very strong. Although they were fewer in number than other races, their combat ability was truly unbelievable.

On a battlefield, the elves could even deal with a human army ten times their size. If human beings didn't have the help of Saint Samurai or powerful Mages, and the elves had more Summoners, they could even deal with a human army twenty times their size.

Even the Golden Sons were beaten to the point that they couldn't take care of themselves when they encountered such a lineup in the early days, and they almost got traumatized.

Now, Julie said that the Advanced Elven Summoner was a rare class … It was utterly unbelievable for Beta, who had experienced the battle of the animals and plants.

"That was hundreds of years ago. Something big happened two hundred years ago." Julie said slowly, "Since then, there have been as many Elven Summoners as before, but fewer and fewer Master Summoners have reached the level of Elven Summoner."

If the problem happened two hundred years ago, Beta's first reaction would be the god-slaying war. It seemed that the players' influence on the elves was even greater than he thought.

"So, it's hard for the elven Summoners to advance as fast as before?"

Julie nodded. "That's why I suggest that Alice leave this place. I think Nature's Wrath will figure out a way to save the others."

Alice, however, shook her head. "I'm not leaving. I'll save as many as I can."

Julie bashed the table and roared, "Don't be willful. Do you think you represent yourself?"

"If I don't represent myself, who do I represent?" Alice was also angry. She retorted, "I've lived for more than a hundred years. What did the elves care about me? Two years ago, due to my impure bloodline, I couldn't even become a professional, and the elves didn't help me at all. Now that I've finally become a professional, I want to do something with you guys, but you guys are interfering with me. Why? "

Because of objective reasons, it was impossible for the gnomes to receive too much care from the elves.

In the past, Alice had been spoiled by her family to the point of being arrogant. If she hadn't met Kail and Beta, which taught her a few lessons, she would still be a proud half-elf lady.

If Kail or Beta had lectured her like this, she would have accepted it … After all, apart from her father, she only admired those two men.

But what was Julie? She was an elf that she had saved. To put it nicely, they were of the same race, but to put it bluntly, they were strangers.

Who was Alice, and why should she listen to a stranger's scolding?

After a brief stun, Julie said solemnly, "It's not that we don't want to care, but that we can't. After all, there are too many half-elves, and if we leave the Elf Forest, we'll be easily attacked once we're scattered. Since you know about Nature's Wrath, you should know that we haven't given up on gathering half-elves back to the Elf Forest. "

"That's your business," said Alice angrily. "I'm doing my own thing, and it's none of your business. I'll save people if I want to, and I won't if I don't want to. If you don't want to be saved, you can leave on your own. Or you can go back to where you were captured. "

Hearing that, Julie knew that she had pissed him off. She took a deep breath and said, "I know what I said made you unhappy, but I'm really doing it for your own good."

Beta immediately laughed in his heart. The scariest kindness in the world was "doing it for your own good."

As expected, Alice exploded. "For my own good? You really have the nerve to say that. Are you my mother or my family? You have no right to interfere with what I do … Beta, I really can't stand this woman, lock her up in the mansion. "

Julie's expression changed drastically and was about to speak, but Beta waved his hand and she disappeared.

"Ah …" Alice held her head helplessly at the table and sighed. "I'm starting to hate my elven bloodline a little now."

Beta explained, "The elves are very opinionated creatures, to put it nicely, it's called persistence, to put it bluntly, it's called stubbornness. Once they've decided on something, it's hard to change it. Actually, Alice has this tendency with you, but not as much as they do. "

Alice waved her hand helplessly. "Beta, don't poke at my wound anymore. I know my own personality very well … No matter what, this thing has started, and I don't intend to just end it. I'm going to continue to save my people, so please continue to help me."

"That's not a problem. Now we have to see how the family whose money I stole reacts."

Emma smiled. "Something big is definitely going to happen."

The next day, something big indeed happened … At least ten patrol teams rampaged through the city, investigating all suspicious people.

The three women were naturally investigated, but they were the least suspicious, because they were at the banquet when the incident happened and had perfect alibis.

Beta, on the other hand, stayed in another hotel, and when the investigation team found him, he was making a magic array.

The leader was a middle-aged Warrior with a scimitar. He had the features of the desert kingdom, with a rough face, deep eye sockets, and a hooked nose.

His dark brown eyes glanced at Beta and then he said, "Sir, the royal order is that we need to investigate your residence and your belongings."

It seemed that the family from last night seemed to have a close relationship with the royal family. Beta thought to himself, but said with some dissatisfaction on his face, "I'm a Mage."

The middle-aged Warrior also straightened his expression and continued, "The royal order says that everyone must carry it out, including professionals."

"That's an insult to me." Beta stood up and stared straight at the man, his expression extremely dissatisfied.

"Sir, please forgive me, this is the royal order."

The middle-aged Warrior did not hesitate to look back at Beta, his tone soft but firm.

After a long while, Beta took a step back. "Okay, you can investigate, but after the investigation, you have to give me an explanation."

The middle-aged Warrior took a deep breath and waved his hand. He had the men behind him rush into the room and start rummaging through the cabinets and cabinets.

They did not let go of any suspicious places. Even the bottom of the table was turned upside down. Naturally, they also found the magic materials that Beta deliberately put in the luggage. Among them, there was even a soldier who accidentally touched two different magic materials at the same time, causing a small flame explosion and charred his head.

Even though he didn't suffer any injuries, everyone was still shocked. After that, they became even more cautious in their search.

About twenty minutes later, a dozen people turned Beta's room upside down and then returned to normal.

"Sorry for disturbing your time, sir, you are cleared of suspicion," the middle-aged Warrior said slowly.

Beta looked at him and said indifferently, "You want to let this go with just an apology?"

The middle-aged Warrior did not hesitate to slap himself twice and then said, "This is my apology."

Looking at the two red marks on the middle-aged Warrior's face, Beta was silent for a moment, then said, "You can go."

The middle-aged Warrior turned around and left with his men. After leaving the hotel, one of his subordinates walked up and said angrily, "Boss, you just admit it like that? That foreigner is really going too far. "

The middle-aged Warrior, however, said, "It's normal. I think it's already worth it to be able to return all of us with just two slaps."

"Boss, does that person have a powerful background?"

"I don't know," the middle-aged Warrior said with a tone of relief. "But I do know that he's a very powerful spellcaster, and he's also a noble. Furthermore, he's a noble. If I were him, I wouldn't be able to get over it with just two slaps. "

In the Bernard family, all the blood relatives were gathered together.

The old chief sat under the chief's throne and looked down at his descendants. He said, "Last night, someone snuck into the manor on the west side of our family and stole a few hundred gold coins. Money is not important. It's just a few hundred gold coins. We can afford to lose it, but the person is gone … Manteckin is gone, and so is the elf he kept. "

After a short silence, the twenty or so people started whispering to each other, and the whole room was filled with the sound of conversation.

The old chief's withered right hand lightly slapped the table and said, "You should all know that Manteckin was the next successor that I personally appointed. Now that he's dead, a lot of people will be happy. I hope that you can find the culprit. If you can't find him, I'll consider looking for him among you. "

After leaving these cold words, the old chief got up and left. The Bernard clansmen, on the other hand, began to move nervously.

At the same time, in the royal house, the third prince of Djibouti listened to his subordinate's report. A strange smile appeared on his young and handsome face. "I just talked to Manteckin last night. We'll find a way to take down the three women together. The half-elf was given to him, but he's dead, and the elf in his house is gone. This is too much of a coincidence, so much so that it's unbelievable."

A man who was eating and drinking beside him looked up. "Your Highness, are you saying that someone is trying to sow discord?"

"Well, it's very possible. Someone might want me to focus directly on those three women."
