Noble Emblem

A young Brave walked out of his village, gathered companions to his side, defeated the Great Demon King, became famous, then came back with beauties in hand! This was a legend that appears in the world of Seyrol every 200 years! Our protagonist, however, isn’t a Brave. Even so, for over a thousand years his figure has loomed throughout its history. Unwittingly, the name of the Red Priest began to resound throughout the world. Red Priest’s legend included extraordinary sword techniques and magic, erudite knowledge, and an almost prophetic ability to lead young Braves toward the proper path. People of the world think of him as a descendent of the ancient Golden Race which led to his omnipotence. In essence, however, this was just the characteristics of the profession known as ‘Noble’. A word from the fabulousest translator/editor on Earth which is me I took upon this translation/editing project for the same reason I started translating my first Chinese novel. There are just too many big ass gems buried in a deep cesspool. I've long guessed that Qidian stopped introducing good Chinese novels on this platform in order to give some breathing room for English (and other) originals, but I don't agree with such approach. From a reader's standpoint, it is such a shame that we don't even know how many brilliant works we are missing because of the language barrier. To be honest, I'm mainly copypasting from the site called Novelhi. It is a really good resource and their machine translation is the best I've seen so far, and they also translate up to the latest available chapter. Still, they have several issues. For some reason they always miss the last paragraph which make you can missout on a potentially very important information related to a story, and they also have parts where just a couple of words gets repeated for a whole paragraph and it actually replaces the original text. They also translate an ad together with a chapter which is immersion breaking. I'll be correcting the inherent sins of such MTL with manual editing and translation and I will also polish some rough edges so that the readers will have as much seemless reading experience as possible. You will definitely have a better time reading this than me for sure

Although beautiful, it is actually a female tiger

But Beta couldn't kill the female elf just because of this speculation. After all, it hadn't happened yet, even though the chances were high. Also, in a sense, the female elf did have the right to revenge.

Beta sighed inwardly. Although humans and elves were allies, there were still many small conflicts. The slave trade had become the biggest conflict between the two parties, and it wasn't an exaggeration to say that it was a hidden bomb. There was no telling when this conflict would erupt and become the trigger for a falling out between the elves and humans.

Although Beta understood this, he couldn't and didn't want to. He could only guarantee that there would be no slave trade in his territory in the future.

Alice comforted the female elf behind her. After a while, she asked indifferently, "Since Sunland is a disaster area for elven slaves, there must be many elven slaves here. Can you help them … Beta, I know you're very capable."

Beta shook his head. "I'm not interested in helping the elves."

In Mystra's Mansion, Shirley was indifferent, as if what Beta said was the absolute truth. Emma, on the other hand, didn't think that there was anything wrong with Beta.

If these words were said on Earth, he would definitely be criticized by the saints, but this was another world where the laws of survival were completely different. The slave trade was the norm all over the world, and Beta couldn't change it. Also, these things were tacitly accepted by the gods. It was impossible for Beta to change it on his own.

Alice took a deep breath and said seriously, "I don't need you to help the elves. I only hope that you can help me."

Betta felt a toothache when he heard that … Who said that Alice, a half-elf, was stupid? That sentence alone made her seem sly and cunning.

After a long sigh, Beta nodded. "I know what you want to say. You want to take away all the elven slaves in Sunland, right?"

"I know you can do it, Beta." Alice quietly looked at the man in front of her with her light green eyes. "I also know that after you save these elves, it may not bring you any benefits, and it may even cause you a great loss, but as a friend, I beg you to help me."

"Then let's sit down and discuss what we should do next."

Alice's face lit up with satisfaction. "Thank you, Betta."

It was just a simple thank you … but Alice believed that Beta already understood her current feelings.

Although the person she loved was Kail, she also admitted that Beta was the most capable and outstanding human she had ever met. She even had a feeling that although Beta was only a Master, if they really fought, her legendary father, who was extremely powerful in the eyes of outsiders, might lose.

In the Mystra's Mansion, Shirley and Emma weren't surprised that Betta agreed to it.

Both of them knew very well that Beta was the kind of person who didn't care much about outsiders. At most, he would maintain a bit of sympathy. However, when it came to friends, he was very warm-hearted.

Such people were rare in this world. They had sufficient morals, but they were not good people.

With a wave of Beta's hand, Emma and Shirley appeared in the room too.

The four of them sat around the table. Beta looked around and said, "Although Sunland is a disaster area for elven slaves, I don't think there are too many elven slaves in this city."

Emma nodded. "After all, the elves aren't easy to deal with. They went all the way to the Elf Forest, captured elves, and then transported them here. They must have gone through a lot of procedures. Many elves were either rescued on the way or died. So, there shouldn't be many elven slaves in Sunland."

"Even so, it won't be easy to rescue all the elves here." Beta said in frustration, "Also, some nobles don't care about money. They only care about face … A beautiful elven slave is an excellent decoration for them. They won't just give her away with money."

Looking at the female elf who was squatting in the corner, Alice sighed and asked, "Then what should we do? As a half-elf, the thought of my brothers and sisters suffering here makes me want to go out and kill people. "

Beta thought for a moment and said, "The most important thing now is to find out how many elven slaves there are in this city and who owns them. We'll talk about the rest later. "

Alice nodded. "I'll listen to you."

As a half-elf who rarely traveled, Alice wasn't stupid despite her lack of experience. She knew that there wasn't much she could do in such a situation, so she might as well listen to Beta.

Shirley asked, "What can we do?"

"Sunland isn't very friendly with women, but it's very tolerant of female Mages." Beta thought for a moment and said, "The three of you can work together and see if you can break into the upper class here. I'll go to the Assassin Union and the underground rats to gather intelligence. If we work together, we should be able to find most elven slaves."

Shirley smiled. "Aren't you afraid that someone is up to no good?"

To ordinary women, Sunland was like hell, but to female Mages, it was heaven.

Otherwise, Aisha wouldn't have been able to build her own Magic Tower.

But Shirley's worries weren't unfounded. While Sunland was indeed a fan of female Mages, the three of them were obviously foreigners and the prettiest ones, especially Shirley … She was a divine clone created based on Goddess Woking. It wasn't hard to imagine how beautiful she was.

Such a woman wouldn't do anything extreme even if someone were to covet her in her own territory. However, things would be different when she was in someone else's territory. Besides, Sunland had a tradition of treating women as objects.

Although the three of them were female Mages, they weren't natives. Following the principle that women who weren't natives weren't human beings, they were only half humans and half goods.

To put it simply, it was an awkward position. People could naturally treat them as people, but of course, people could also treat them as goods.

So, it would be troublesome if they showed up.

"If you go out alone, there will be all kinds of trouble." Beta smiled. "But it's different if the three of you work together."

"Two Masters … and an Elven Summoner. Even if the local king sees you, he'll have to consider if his fist is strong enough. "

A night later, Emma, Shirley, and Alice appeared at a banquet for a major noble.

Almost all the men's gazes lingered on the three of them, and the other noble women who attended the banquet were full of jealousy.

Women would always be jealous of women who were prettier than them, especially women who stole all the men's attention.

Shirley looked at the men around her who obviously had lust in their eyes but pretended to be gentlemanly. They clearly wanted to get close to them but were afraid of their strength, so they didn't act rashly. Shirley smiled.

"As expected, Beta is different from these men."

"Of course he is," Alice teased. Alice teased, "I remember when someone met Betta for the first time, he even knocked out a few of his front teeth."

Speaking of this, Emma's face immediately turned red. That was indeed a novel experience for her. It was the first time that she had been beaten so mercilessly by a man that she lost two of her front teeth. She must've been ugly.

If she hadn't been good at regeneration and regrown her teeth in a few days, she would've hated Beta for the rest of her life.

After all, appearance was one of the most important things for a woman.

But that was also why Emma knew that Beta wasn't the kind of man who only cared about appearance.

Shirley's eyes glittered as she listened. "Really? You must tell me about it when you have a chance. "

Emma was greatly shocked. That was her dark history. She hurriedly frowned at Alice. "You can't say it!"

Alice covered her mouth and chuckled.

At this moment, a young man finally gathered his courage and came to the three of them. He bowed in a gentlemanly manner and put on a charming smile. "Three beautiful ladies, may I join your pleasant conversation?"

The man was very handsome. Although his skin was a bit dark, the three women all thought that he was handsome.

Unfortunately, although the young man was handsome, the three women didn't think that he was a good man.

Shirley, of course, was born for Beta. Other men, however handsome and charming, were no different from rocks to her.

Emma and Alice, on the other hand, liked Beta and Kail, respectively.

Not only were they as good-looking as the man before them — one was mature, and the other was kind and sunny. More importantly, they were unbelievably strong. They could be the best of the younger generation.

In comparison, the man in front of her seemed a little weak. Not to mention Beta, Alice alone could beat more than 20 guys like him, and that was under the premise that she didn't use magic.

None of the three women said anything and simply looked at him indifferently.

The man was being stared at by three real beauties. With his experience in flirting with women, he would've been thrilled. However, he was being stared at by three powerful female Mages, like a rabbit being surrounded by three lionesses.

Subconsciously, his legs turned to jelly.

"Sorry …" The man's face turned pale. "Sorry for the interruption."

Seeing the first person who wanted to eat crabs leave in despair, the expressions of the male nobles who were paying attention to Shirley and the other three women changed again.
