Chapter 5
"My lady, it's time to wake you up." Will knock the door but Tiara didn't want to response. She just ignored him, she changes her side and continue sleeping. "Let me enter your room." Will requesting while open the door. "Don't get in, I'm naked." She telling a lie. He let the maid get in first, checking up for her. After that, she reports back to him. "your maid telling me that you are not naked." Will response and then he walked in the room and stand beside the maid. 'damn.' She cursed that the lie didn't work on him.
"Please, give me a few minutes." Tiara begging lazily. "No, today you got pack of schedule, there is no time for you to get extra sleeps." Will getting strict. He starts to move, walking through and go to the curtain. "My lady, it's time you rise and shine." He opens the curtain. After that, the sunlight vastly giving a spot to Tiara. The shine and the warm makes her feel uncomfortable. "No!" She shouted, she used her to covered her face avoiding the light. Unfortunately, the light still can reach her by penetrating her hands. She has no choices to wake up.
"My head." Tiara groans. She got hangover after she waking up. Will looking at the maid, giving a nodding sign to get a cup of water. Then she gives a glass of water to the Tiara. "Thanks, Milly." She takes a few sips, her hungover disappear. "That's better." She relief. After that, Will take out the bell and ringing the bell. Later on, another two maids come to the room. "I will leave them here and I take Alan to the dining." Will take a few steps back while he bowing down. "A mother should give a good example to her children." Then he leaving the room. She just giving an expressionless face.
At the dining room, Alan was sitting there, waiting for his mother. He feels hungry but the breakfast cannot be served without head of household come joining. A few moments later, Tiara enter the dining. "Good morning, mother." Alan greeting. "Morning." She giving serious face. She takes a seat and start reading a few documents. After that, a maid come starts to serve their breakfast. "Just give me a tea, I don't have appetite today." She told to the maid. The maid quickly served her tea and taking back the food. Then she continued reading the document while drinking her tea.
While Alan taking a breakfast, A few documents were put on his table. He startles, not understanding what have he saw. "Will, what is this?" he starts asking. "From now on, you will be joining work with me." Tiara answers his questions. He seems understand but his head cannot catch up in this situation. "You better prepared right now because we go some working visits." She ordered. "What? I can't make it." He shows the tons of document on his table. "You cannot success if you got too much complaint." She finished her tea. "I'll be waiting at carriage." She walked away leaving him at dining room.
"My lady, pardon my intrusion." Leo come inside the carriage and taking seat beside Leo. At the coach, coachman and Will taking seat. Will guiding the appointment for them. After that, the carriage start moving slowly leaving Tiara mansion. Looking aside, Alan trying to analyze his documents but he seems a little down. "Young master, do you have any problem." Leo worried. "Thank you for your concern, I'm perfectly fine." Alan trying to hiding it, not to Leo but his own mother. Unfortunately, Leo can sense that Alan actually not fine and he trying to figured it out why he become strange.
"I can read you like open book." Leo trying to be pushy but Alan not responding. He just silences himself and keep reading the document. Tiara also ignoring them, she just does her own jobs. A few moments later, Will open the small window behind him. "We arrived at Marquess Alex." he tells them all. After that, they were welcomed by the marquess and other nobles. They showed all work place and discussion about the progress of their work. In the end of working, they invite for tea party at the evening. These party seems more joyful and more open than the last coming age ceremony.
"Lady Tiara, do you have any suggestion about our work progress." Marquess Alex happy to listen Tiara idea with open heart. "Pardon" Tiara slow response to that questions because she only focusing her delicious food. "About your suggestions?" He repeated his questions. "I'm sorry, I don't have any suggestions, maybe my son can give you the answers." She showing them to Alan. Alan and all the men shocked, speechless they just return their eyes looking to each other. Alan become nervous after they start looking to him. His mind blank but they still waiting for the idea.
"So, you guys done a good job. Just keep going." She suddenly stands and answers. All the attentions focus on her. After the speech, they clapping and start praising her. Alan just sit down embarrassed to himself. At the end of party, Tiara distribute the letter to all nobles. "So, before we end up the party, I would like to invite for our next meeting." She announced. "All detail about this meeting is all inside the letter, thank you." She explained to all and the she sits back on her seat. All of them not reading inside the letter, they just keep inside their coat safely.
After the party, they all leaving back to their home. Inside the carriage, Alan look like something to say that keeping his heart. "I know you not satisfied about what happen back then, just spit it out." Tiara like she can read from his face. Leo just keeping silence but his ear still listening. "This is so embarrassing, please don't humiliate me." Alan confess from heart content. "I'm not humiliate you; I want to get you exposed, that's all." Tiara response.
"Your mother was right, young master." Leo interrupt. "Why are you all people going on her side." He become angry. "You all so cruel, I'm not prepared for this." He continued. "How dare you..." "Leo!" Leo start to rage but Tiara cut down his temper. After arriving home, Alan aggressively leaving the carriage. "Alan." Tiara called while get out the carriage. "We never be ready, we don't know what will happen now, next or even the future that keep hold us." She looking right at him but he just stands there. "What happens we faces just overcome it, remember that." She giving advice.
After that, Alan just leaving without saying any words.
