Zhang Yang played fairly well tonight, shooting 22 but hitting only 9 because he was crazily shooting threes in the last quarter, missing all 4 of his attempts at the three-pointer. Overall, he made only 2 of 8 three-pointers, but with a free throw record of 4 from 4, he scored over 20 points for the first time in 3 games, ending with 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists.
His scoring was okay, but aside from him, none of his teammates reached 15 points. The highest was Okafor with 14 points from 6 of 14 shooting plus 2 free throws out of 5 attempts.
It might be time to suggest that Little Buddha work on his free throws; emulating Duncan is great, but don't emulate his free-throw shooting.
He'll have to bring that up himself; if Fat Boss says it, Little Buddha might not listen.
After two consecutive losses, the Bobcats' record fell to 10 wins and 4 losses, caught up by the Pistons. Since the Bobcats lost in their direct confrontation, they dropped to second in the East.
