Lucas placed his hands on Imani's shoulders to push her onto the bed when her stomach suddenly rumbled, making him stop. He then remembered that when he heard her in the shower, he microwaved the food they ordered earlier before he came to her room. She had stepped out of the bathroom while he had been debating getting into the shower with her.

Imani shut her eyes, wanting to die of humiliation and hating her stomach for picking this moment to announce that it wanted food, just as Lucas traced her bottom lip with his finger and said, "The food arrived while you were asleep. I microwaved it a couple of minutes ago... You should get dressed."

He reluctantly removed his hands from her body and took a step back because if he kept touching her, he just might not let her out of this room for the rest of today. She was hungry and probably still tired because she only slept for a couple of hours so he could put this off for a while... a little while.
