Spirit World

Truly, consider Spirit World as limbo. It's a place your spirit goes to wait to be reborn, ascend to Heaven or descend to Hell. Or if you want to stick around loved ones you gravitate here.

It's a parallel to Earth. Demon World is where the poltergeists, vengeful spirits and demons come from. It's not an exciting place. Think of.... the slums of a big city. It's dangerous and justice us nowhere in sight.

You'd think demons come from Hell. Well, they can. Thing is, the ones from Hell obey Lucifer. So lawful chaotic rather than neutral chaotic to evil chaotic.

Lucifer is the big shot. He goes by many names. Hades, which is how he lured me. Satan, though Satan is a seperate being. The Fallen, Beelzebub, Mephistopheles, Iblis, Great Deceiver, Father of Lies, the Devil, the Deuce, Prince of Darkness, the Black Spy, the Grentleman in Black, El Diablo and Bogey. Along with a series of "Old's" Old Ned/ Nick/ Sam/ Scratch/ One/ Mr.Grim/ Rip/ Poker/ Splitfoot.

He lures young girls to do his bidding. When a girl feels unloved and unwanted in her family, he comes to sweet talk her. Convinces her he loves her and he is her true father and we only need to do these specific things- like best a specific God's followers- so that we can be a family for ever.

He has his demons train you to battle. Has them teach you to make a sword. After that, you go to battle.

I suppose I should clarify. He first teaches you to detach your spirit from your body so you may walk the planes of the spirits, demons, Hell, and Heaven. It's relatively easy. Scarily so.

Anyhow, yeah. He came to me when I was really down. He told me he was Hades, and I, his beloved lost daughter. I believed him. He began the training immediately.

What I didn't know, was that his previous daughter had just rebelled against him. Even more shocking? I was about to meet her merely a year after I was called his daughter.

I still remember the day I met her on Earth. It was 8th grade and we'd just moved from our home to a new area. New school, new home, new people. Same traumas.

I'd been talking to a girl about vampires, sharpening teeth, and spirits. She then said she knew someone who sharpened their teeth. She could introduce me, if I wanted.

I, of course, jumped at the opportunity. So that day at lunch my new acquaintance took me to her friends lunch table.

I'd stared at her and her half frozen face. It was an odd sight to me. She was introduced to me as Laya.

"Do you sharpen your teeth?" I asked her immediately. My first sentence to her.

She smirked- a smile really- and said "Do I sharpen my teeth?" She laughed.

I kept staring at her. Her interest was piqued. As was mine.

Later, she'd told me she was expecting me to ask bout her face, which I eventually did at a church. She was entirely caught off guard by the question. And then again, stunned, when I announced to her that I was a Daughter of Hades.

We became close quickly. Much to her friends dismay. Her attention was on me. I obtained the nickname of being her 'Puppy'.

I enjoyed the time spent with her. She's how I learned about the crows- Lucifer's spies.

Lucifer was obviously not happy when he learned of our meeting and friendship.

Interestingly enough, Laya had wanted to meet me since I sneak attacked her during a battle in Heaven.

We'd gone to fight Heaven's army, the demons and I. My blade, a silvery fine quality, dispite my darkness, with red and blue gems on the hilt. It flashed through my enemies, cutting people down, one by one.

A gorgeous girl had appeared and immediately, the tides changed. My 'father's' demons were being pushed back. I'd turned and saw her slicing through demons.

Infuriated, I'd advanced on her from behind. I knocked the back of her head with my hilt and she vanished.

I spun from where she'd been to go after my next target, when I was called for.

"-Riella!" My connection to that plane of existence was severed and I'd opened my eyes to find my mother telling me it was time to make dinner.

I was extremely frustrated. We could have won! With me having quit the battlefield, the demons had retreated as the girl had appeared again. Demanding who'd hit her.

I only learned this after we'd been friends for a while that that girl was Laya. And she had my sword.

Due to the sudden disconnection my sword had been dropped and no one thought to grab it in the heat of the battle. Except for Laya when the demons had fled.

She was puzzled and couldn't believe my beautiful weapon had been crafted in Hell. She'd put it in a display case as a war trophy.

I've since reclaimed it, I assure you. It's still my faithful companion in fights.

Wow, that was a side track- from Hell...

I'll see myself out....
