Chapter 25 : Internal Strife

Cain wasn't frustrated by the difficulty of the 5 th level , he was in a state where he had accepted everything went down to shit . He just surveyed the level for two days to get what are the daily happenings in the 5th level.

The Tusker would usually sit in a place or eat trees all day , the War druid would just stay in it's place and not move mostly it would move when its peace would be in danger and finally the Yautja Wolf would hunt small creatures or beasts to eat on them or bite on tree trunks like a bone . So Cain came to a conclusion that these three beasts were at a standoff and if any two started to fight the other would interfere and with fear that they would have to fight 2 beasts at once would make them back off .

Cain came up with a plan which anyone would have thought up observing them and it wasn't anything special just to make any two of these beasts fight till a certain stage where they can't backdown.

Cain then started to prepare to make the wolf and the tusker fight while holding back the War druid , after 3 days of preparation Cain brought his plan into motion.

He created the same type of explosion he did when he first arrived to the 5 th level near the wolf and the Tusker , in the same way they approached the point and started to fight but this time the war druid didn't come and the fight escalated .

In the past 3 days Cain was preparing to erect a barrier around the war Druid , though any level of barrier he could create would be easily broken he planned to use hell fire in the barrier . Due to increase in Fire Manipulation and Mana manipulation control , Cain planned that he could hold off the War Druid for 10 minutes atleast as compared to all the three the War Druid had the weakest defense and could easily catch fire while the other two might bulldoze through but if it used the ethereal mana in the air it could rip apart the barrier easily .

Cain created the barrier with sound absorbing effect such that the sounds from inside and the sounds from outside would be absorbed into the barrier and at the time when the War druid would be at its least alertness Cain erected the barrier and created the explosion .

The Fight between the Tusker and the Wolf escalated quickly and the War Druid was oblivious to it at the same time Cain was putting all his concentration to maintain the barrier , the barrier had no defensive strength ,it was more like a veil of fire which absorbed sound and all vibrations .

The Yujita Wolf would use its swift speed to aim at single point and aim to break the armor of the Mountain Tusker , The Tusker finding the right opportunity would buldoze towards the wolf , and use beams of green energy towards the wolf , and use some sort of ground manipulation to change the terrain to make it difficult for the wolf to force into a corner where it could buldoze into the wolf or shoot beams of energy at it .

The Wolf had greenish glowing claws , with its high agility and acrobatic ability it used all the terrain to its advantage and attacked the tusker at a single point on its back , after 4 minutes of the battle there was a point in the tusker's armor which had severe cracks , The wolf jumped on to the tusker's back and attached itself to the tusker's back through vines which grew out of its body and then made a hole in the armor .

After that the Yujita wolf fired a huge Dark Green beam from its mouth into the hole in the Tusker's armor .

At the same time The War druid destroyed the Barrier and looked at Cain with fury , with a moment of its hand almost thousands of vines and roots stabbed Cain where he was standing . He had vines and roots piercing his body everywhere . His heart had stopped beating and no noise came from Cain , then The War Druid rushed towards where the commotion and blasts of energy it felt .

After 5 minutes , Cain's body started to burn and also burnt all the vines and the roots which had pierced him . After sometime he was fully healed , he then started to rush towards the place where the battle was going on.

When the War Druid reached the spot of the commotion it saw only a Wolf which was eating the Tusker as it was lying on the ground huffing and bleeding everywhere . The Mountian tusker was not dead but sustained too much internal damage , Looking at this The War Druid transformed its arm into a shape of a spear as green light enveloped it and rushed towards the wolf which was feasting on the Tusker .

The Wolf got up and the armed spear of the War Druid pierced the flesh of the Wolf but was then stopped as it had developed a similar armor as the Tusker , the War Druid startled there a little , the Wolf then opened its jaws wide and bite the whole body of the War Druid and started to swallow it whole , The War Druid Stabbed several vines in the throat of the Yujita Wolf but it was pulled inside the stomach of the wolf by a strong force unable to resist it was taken in .

Slowly green light started to envelope the Yujita Wolf , and a huge Beam of pure green light rose from the Yujita Wolf which rose towards the Celing of the 5th level which would be visible by all the creatures in the 5th level.

As Cain Was heading to the spot , he felt a pool of mana diminish but also another pool of mana grow and suddenly he saw the pillar of light .

When Cain arrived at the location , he saw a half eaten corpse of the Mountain Tusker and a the Wolf's form was Changing with its body structure becoming closer to a normal Wolf and its size was reducing and was currently it was a 100 meters tall . The War Druid was nowhere to be seen .

Cain was confused but came to a conclusion that the wolf somehow may have defeated the other two creatures but what was happening now was really confusing .He then Asked in his mind

'What is going on ?'

[The Yujita Wolf is now evolving as it has consumed the cores of the Mountian Tusker and the War Druid and since both these beasts have the same affinity might be the reason there was such a strong reaction or may have been on of the Yujita wolf's Skills

Analyzing the Wolf , its currently in the process of reforming its body to become the Divine Jungle Fenrir , which can grow to become a Calamity beast. The Host is advised to kill the beast now and consume its body now itself or atleast interrupt the process and attack it now as it is the most vulnerable now ]

Cain after listening to this didn't think much he took out his dual axes and Threw his space ring with all his might after he applied tracking magic to it .

He activated his Immortal Hellfire Body to Maximum level and enveloped his axes in fire and then jumped towards the Wolf

"Grrr...."

A Small growl was heard , the pillar of light disappeared and a energy beam rushed towards Cain, all of him was ripped out , all his skin was shipped off and bones of his arms was visible ,his were also partially vaporized as he was thrown away to a distance.

Soon his eyes , body face started to heal and the flames on him raged more brightly . Cain then looked a the Wolf which was looking at him in anger and rage . Its body structure now resembled that of a normal wolf but was as larger , almost 80 meters tall, instead of flesh and fur . It had green grass like fur and wood rib cage which was visible and had a bright orb inside it . Cain was now in a state of panic and excitement and asked

'What is that ?'

The Incomplete Fenrir then started to rush towards Cain . Cain Started to laugh like a maniac and then jumped towards the beast
