New world order: Global transmigration

What would you do if you were dumped into a new world with no plan, no friends, and no idea how you were going to complete your objective? What is the objective, you may ask? World domination, obviously. Join Alex as he navigates his way through twists and turns to complete his hopeless objective. He was not special, but he had one advantage; he was hard-working. But was that enough in this world of ungodly lucky protagonists and murderous villains? I'll guess you will find out, if you read the web novel. :) (The art is not made by me and if you are the original creator you can ask me take it down by commenting so on any of the chapters)

Building up the basics.

"My lord." They said in perfect unison.

My mind works overtime and finds the obvious answer immediately.

Of course, the new citizens. When did I become so aggressive and thoughtless? Ah, I forget I'm a demon now. I really need to get used to these hyper aggressive reactions, so I don't end up like a Mad Demon.

Mad demons were the term used to describe demons that had lost themselves to their emotions and become feral. In this state, their blood rank rose by 1 and they gained beast like senses. They were the uncontrollable berserker of the race and were the main reason for the demons' image problems. They were unable to sleep or do anything stationary and the worst part is they could never return to normal.

A king rank demon could not go mad though as he/she had too strong a mental capacity or INT to go mad. Only those with low INT could go fully mad.

I finally get to see their appearances and I get a view of 10 lower demons and 3 regular demons. The lower demons had one horn and colourless eyes and the regular demons had 2 horns and colourless eyes.

Thinking of what to order them to do, I realise I need to look at the map. To make my house I needed wood, so I looked for a forest.

Looking at the map, I realise it has 2 options: surface level and underground level. Selecting the underground option, a holographic outline of the whole cave appeared in front of me.

With a blue outline, I could see a miniaturised version of myself and in green, 13 citizens also were outlined. At the centre, a purple stick could be seen, this of course being my pole.

After looking around my immediate surroundings, I find a route from one of the entrances/exits on the lowest level of the cave to a nearby forest at the valley between the mountains.

"All right citizens, our first mission is to gather wood and to make our homes. Are we ready?"

"Yes Sir."

"Follow me then!"

Thinking about it, I hadn't thought of the missions. It must be because I'm a demon. I was never this forgetful before.

Okay `missions`.

[Time remaining to complete mission is Infinite]

Great, so now I just have some wood and vines. I was going just for wood but now that I think about it vines would be a great help in making a house. In those Primitive Technology videos, they used vines around the wood beams to increase stability, I think, my memory had been failing me recently.

Why do I not just ask them, I think as I glance at my silent citizens who are following me?

Are they always so silent? "You can speak, you know."

Their expressions relax and a few start muttering to themselves. It seems they were just holding themselves together. Demonic society is so unreasonable.

15 minutes later, we arrived at the valley. Unlike the mountain, a slither of green can be seen around. Grass pokes through the snow and the underside of trees reveal branches of a tree.

How do we chop a tree down?

Can I just punch it? I am 4 times as strong as a regular human so I should be able to right.

I'm trying it. What's the worst that can happen?

Ignoring my famous last words, I line up a good punch I had seen in an instructional combat video I had watched to play LordsVsLords better.

I reeled back my fist, turned my waist and took a deep breath. And... punch.

"Whoosh" The tree flops off the stump as my hand recoils from the trunk.

Snow on top of the tree had fallen all over me and I was still suffering from the pain of punching a tree.

When was I so dumb? Sure okay, I was always a muscle head but I would never just punch a tree?

Damn it hurt that will leave a scar.

"This snow is not HELPING!" I shout in annoyance but quickly calm down.

Zen... yes, Zen, tranquillity.

A few deep breaths and I was back to normal but with a knocked over tree and a damaged hand. Decent trade off in the grand scheme of things, I as a demon would heal in no time, but the pain was a bit much, so no to that idea.

The demon mind was much more annoying than previously thought and it was starting to show its effects. Luckily, all I did was hurt myself and not something more serious or I may have already become a mad demon.

Okay, for now, let's focus on the mission at hand. "Go and collect that wood." I say to my citizens. They quickly shuffle over and pick up the little pieces on the floor.

Not what I meant, but okay.

"I meant take the trunk," I say as I pick up the trunk myself. Dam this is heavy though. I look around to find my citizens impressed by my strength. I liked that feeling of being awe inspiring.

"Pick up some more wood and get back in 1 hour." I say as I really need to start moving else I won't be able to take it the entire way there.

I quickly start moving as my citizens start picking up wood and some even start conversations.

...

"What do you think of the new Master?"

"He is really strong, as expected of a high demon" Eyes of envy could be seen through their colourless eyes.

"He also seems kind though. What's that about?" A Lower Demon says in confusion.

"I know right. He could just tell us to take the trunk of wood, but he took it himself."

Overall, looks of confusion could be seen in the growing huddle of demons.

"We need to get back in an hour, so we must rush."

"Anyone know how long an hour is though?"

"Just go as quickly as possible and hope it's by then." A Demon said as he ran off, so not to be late.

...

My hands were numb and my backed hurt real bad, but I managed to get the trunk back to base.

Wait, I didn't tell them I needed vines, ourgh, now I need to run back.

So after all my work, I didn't even take a break and start running back. When I arrived I found my demons were working hard; how great.

I then grabbed some hanging vines that somehow were surviving this climate. Maybe they were magically enhanced or something?

Moving away from fantasy land, I finished grabbing the vine and a metre long snake looking thing had appeared in a pile on my arms. It was massive and was at least 10cm thick as long as a 2 metres long. I could barely hold it in my 2 hands.

To reach the exit in time, so the vine did not fall of my hand, I start running back.

Why did I do this to myself?

No, I wanted to be the best, and I was willing to do anything. This is nothing.

"I will be a great king"; I start muttering to myself as a reassurance.

Finally, I was done. I had all the beginner items in front of me as well as all my citizens.

"Good job, my citizens. You have worked hard and for this I thank you."

"Excuse me, great lord, but what was the hour you were speaking of before?"

Ah, what now? What is an hour? Is he dumb or something? Wait, no, he is a Demon Alex, a Demon, therefore he must not know what an hour is.

So, I quickly explain what an hour, day, second, month and year is. This took a long time as I found them to be quite dim, especially the lower demons. It seemed though their stats were not on the intelligence heavy side.

Anyway, my mission is completed no, I heard a notification.

[Completed mission 1]

[Rewards gained: Beginner House Blueprint]

[New Easy mission will respawn in 24 hours (1 day-night cycle).]

Finally now what is this new Blueprint? I click on the blueprint and, like magic, a holographic outline of a house appears in front of me. After moving the house around a bit, I find a good spot to place it and without any!!!

Wait, I have my mission to start.

`Accept Mission 2`

[Mission 2 accepted]

[Time limit has 1 week remaining]

Ah, right now I can do it. I place 20 holographic blueprint of the houses in a neat square and when I was done turned to see my citizens staring at me like a god.

Ah, they probably think I have powers or something I will need to explain this.

After a short explanation, they get to work and so did I.

I set a team of 3 to 4 lower demons, with a regular demon as a foreman who will help out. Hopefully, they get it right. The regular demons seemed to get it when I explained it to them, so I could only pray now.

2 hours later, and with the help of the hologram, I would say I was half done. It took time to understand how to tie a good knot and putting the wood in the right place without it collapsing, but I reckoned I could be done in a good half hour. I had understood how to make it now and such I thought it would take less time.

I was hungry right now, though, so I reckoned I would eat and then go to sleep.

That was one problem with an underground city: I had no clue what the time was. From the diminishing lighting from the entrances and exits, I reckoned it was late, though.

For now, I needed to gather my citizens and get our first hunt on the road.

Clarify: INT does not sum up just smartness, Lower demon for instance have 1 intellance which is the universal average but their INT goes mainly to battle IQ and not logic IQ.

As always, have a great day,

Author.
