Central Tower Part One

A huge explosion was heard from floors below as guards began scrambling around to get the power back up. 'Hm, looks like Yuu and Kamio have succeeded." Yuuki thought while looking around the corner.

Yuuki stood up and started walking in the opposite direction. "And where do you think you're going?" A man wearing a solid white cloak with red stripes going down the sides, his face not visible to her, said to her.

"Hm, I thought elites always reside on higher floors of these towers."

The man scoffed at her, "You clearly didn't do any research, yes most elites reside on the higher floors, but all of the towers have an elite that is promoted to general of the tower. I am the general of this tower, the central tower." The man explained to Yuuki.

"So, you're the big shot around here. That makes my job easier to do." Yuuki said to the man.

"What's your name?" He asked her.

"Yuuki. You?"

"Sam." The man, now known as Sam, answered her.

"Shall we begin?" Sam asked her.

"Let's."

'I still can't believe that magic actually exists' Kamio thought to himself.

"I wonder how Yuuki's doing," Yuu said to herself.

Yuuki came crashing through a wall disrupting the people trying to get the power back up. "Had enough yet?" Sam asked as he walked towards her, the metal on his outfit clanking together.

Yuuki stood up and threw a punch at his face. "That won't work!" Sam yelled at her.

Just as Yuuki's punch was about to make contact Sam brought his hand up to catch Yuuki's hand. Sam punched Yuuki's face. Yuuki's body didn't move a muscle after getting hit. Sam removed his fist from Yuuki's face, and Yuuki fell down on her back, cuts and bruises all over her body, and passed out, with blood pouring out of each of her injuries.

"The fighting must have stopped," Yuu said.

"Yeah. You think Yuuki won?" Kamio asked Yuu.

"Of course she did," Yuu said as she walked up to a ladder and started to climb it, with Kamio right behind her.

"Don't you dare look up!" Yuu yelled at Kamio.

"Hmph, and here I thought you would give me a challenge." Sam grabbed Yuuki's hair and lifted her up.

"Heh, what happened to that job you had to do being easier?" Sam mockingly asked her.

"But it is easier," Yuuki smirked, as she surrounded her right leg in a grey aura. 

She kicked him in the waist, causing Sam to let go of her hair.

"Damn … it," Sam said as he fell to the ground, unconscious.

Yuuki fell to her knees, "damn, it must be because of how much blood I've lost … I need some rest."

"What's wrong Yuuki? Giving up now?" A man asked, approaching her from behind.

"W-who's there?!" Yuuki yelled as she tried to turn around, but instead fell on her face.

"Relax it's just me.' The man said revealing himself to be the old man.

"Where have … you … been. Asshole." Yuuki said her voice fading with each word.

"Yuuki was supposed to be fighting around here, right?" Kamio asked.

"Yeah, we should almost be there," Yuu told him as they walked down a long hallway.

They walked in silence until they came upon a door. "It should be behind this door," Yuu spoke after a long silence.

Yuu opened the door and walked inside with Kamio right behind her. The door shut behind them with a loud thump, making Kamio jump a little. Yuu walked around a corner and gasped, "Yuuki!" She yelled out, after seeing her laying on the ground bleeding.

"What happened?" Kamio said as he ran over to Yuu.

"Yuu … Kamio? Is … that ... you two?" Yuuki said in a weak voice.

"Shh, save your energy," Yuu demanded as she put one of Yuuki's arms over her shoulder.

"You both … need to find … the old man," Yuuki told Yuu.

"Who's the old man?" Kamio asked them.

"Satou, he's the one ... in charge of this tower," Yuuki explained to them before she passed out due to blood loss.

"Old man is really in charge?!" Yuu said, shocked that a man she trusted with her life was her enemy the entire time.

"Kamio, take Yuuki and get out of here," Yuu told Kamio with venom in her voice.

"What are you going to do?" Kamio asked her with concern as he put Yuuki's arm around his shoulder.

"I'm going to find Satou," Yuu told him as she walked down the hallway.

"Yuu! Be careful!" Kamio told her, Yuu turned around and smirked, "of course, I will." Yuu said as she ran off to find the old man.

Kamio lifted Yuuki up and started to walk in the opposite direction from Yuu.
