Return to Headquarters

Editor: Atlas Studios

The mage apprentices lit more candles for various places. Wesley stepped forward and asked, "Is something wrong?"

"No, it's just a power outage. The circuitry is very old and the power outages several times a month." The mage apprentices said indifferently.

Wesley was speechless as he looked at everything. He really didn't know how to describe his luck, or Ultron's luck. "Apple, how are you?" He had never had a power outage, so Apple hadn't.

"No problem. I didn't get into the network myself, but if Ultron gets away, the Cosovia incident will erupt again. Are you going to stop it?" Apple asked.

Wesley returned to the room and lay on the bed, thinking. "We have to stop it. Otherwise, the Avengers Alliance will be divided again. This is not what I want." Wesley rolled over and got up. Then he raised his left hand and drew a circle with his right hand, directly opening a space door.

The Space Door appeared outside the Alliance Headquarters. He did not go directly to the third floor of the headquarters. Now that the Avengers had just completed a battle, they might attack the Space Door when they saw it, so it was better to stay outside.

Wesley appeared on the lawn outside headquarters and saw that the front door on the first floor was badly damaged. The clerks in charge of the night patrol were all injured. Fortunately, Ultron wanted to escape and did not kill them. That was lucky.

They came all the way to the third floor. The atmosphere in the living room was very depressing. Bruce Banner and Tony Stark were tracking something on the computer, as was Natasha Romanov. The others were waiting for news.

"Wesley?" Steve Rogers saw him and then shouted.

Wesley looked very strange in his gray apprentice mage outfit, and everyone looked up. Tony Stark said awkwardly, "Why are you back at this time?"

"Elizabeth was attacked and it sent me an alert. Naturally, I know. What's the situation now?" Wesley asked.

"He got away," Natasha Romanov said.

At that moment, Saul flew in through the window and ran after Tony Stark. He grabbed him by the neck and lifted him up. "I don't know what to say about you anymore, Stark."

"Saul, put Tony down first," Wesley said.

Saul saw Wesley then and put Tony Stark down. "When did you get back?"

"I just came back and now I need to solve the problem. What did you do and why are you all here?" Wesley knew, but he couldn't say it, so he asked first.

Everyone was embarrassed by Wesley's question, because Wesley hadn't been called in for the first operation. However, Tony Stark said, "Loki's scepter. Thor Earth wants Loki's scepter back, but because you have something to do, I didn't call you back."

"I do have something to do. I'm studying some mysticism. We're not the only ones in the world with extraordinary abilities, but they're guarding another field, so I won't talk to you." Wesley was not angry about this. After all, he had the most benefits.

"Another field? What do you mean?" Bruce Banner asked.

"Don't ask about that. They are very mysterious and ancient. I won't tell you without permission. Now tell me about the situation here."

Tony Stark continued, "When I moved, I found that the other side was studying artificial intelligence through Loki's scepter, so I also wanted to study it. You know I have this idea of using artificial intelligence to control a large number of Iron Man legions. If we encounter a situation where the Chitari army attacks Earth, then we won't have to work so hard."

"Is that your reason?" Saul asked.

"Yes. Last time, it was a space door opened by Tesseract. The other side didn't put in much military power at once, and there was only one mother ship. I think only Wesley has seen that kind of large mother ship."

Wesley nodded. At the time, Tony Stark had been the first to rush forward. He had been close to the portal, so he must have seen what was going on in the universe, and Scarlet Witch had magnified his fear. Some people are brave in a crisis, but that doesn't mean they aren't afraid. It's just a subconscious outburst at the time, and they will still be afraid later. It's understandable, especially since Scarlet Witch's abilities are somewhat heaven-defying.

"What did you encounter in Kosovia?" Wesley asked.

"No, what makes you think that?" Tony Stark asked.

"Because you act a little different than usual, Tony. Give me your hand." Wesley walked over.

Tony Stark acted exaggerated and stepped back hurriedly. "No, no, no, I didn't encounter anything. I don't need your help." The others looked at Tony Stark strangely. They had now discovered something different.

Wesley shouted, "Bruce, Saul, grab him," and Saul rushed over. Bruce hesitated for a moment, then walked up and held Tony Stark on both sides.

"No, you can't do that. You're invading my privacy." Tony Stark acted a little crazy, and Wesley grabbed his hand directly, and then the apple began to invade.

Wes used a dozen seconds because he didn't need to look at everything but the nearest one. Then he said, "Your brain has been tampered with, infinitely magnifying your fear. Now I'll fix it for you."

Apple received the order and began to adjust Tony Stark's emotions directly, silencing him and directing the energy that caused the fear and fantasy out of Tony Stark's brain before dissipating into the air.

"Well…" Tony Stark was released, then he shook his head and said, "I feel much more energetic."

"There's an energy in your brain that affects your thinking. What did you encounter in Korthovia?" Wesley asked.

"I don't know. When I was in the underground laboratory, I felt something behind me. When I turned around, I suddenly saw the Ironclad Wyvern rushing towards me. Then I saw that all of us had died in battle, and Rogers finally grabbed me and said, 'Why didn't you try?' I saw something." Tony Stark was in a cold sweat. This memory was not good for him.

Steve Rogers and Saul's expressions changed, and the atmosphere eased a lot. What could anyone say about this kind of thing? What Tony Stark had experienced could be said to be terrible. His description should be the scene of the end of the world. No one had experienced this kind of thing before, and it was difficult to have language to understand the specifics, but this prevented them from seeing Tony Stark's expression.
