When Wu Ye saw Rudolf dismiss the clan head in such a disrespectful manner: Tossing a goatskin parchment at him and turning around to continue talking with Wu Liang. He wanted to use this opportunity to finally pick a fight with him.

The clan head tensed up. He could tell that Rudolf was about to play his winning cards.
