Hearing the command of the scythe, the oldmen no longer spoke or even bothered with the humans present.

Fury and his agents, on the other hand, were at a complete loss, the current situation is beyond their expectations, they couldn't stop the oldmen from doing what they wanted, after all, they could deal with Aleister, and if his behavior is anything to go by these men are more powerful than him.

"First one of the lord's children descended, now one of the worthy has appeared after so many years of them laying dormant, it seems master has taken interest in this planet, once more." one of the old men spoke as he strokes his beard.

'Lord's children descended?' thought Fury listening to the conversation happening, even though he was a good distance away from the men, he could hear clearly as they didn't try to hide what they were talking about.

"Things have been quiet for the past couple of years, but as always I'm sure master has a plan."

"You fools can stand there and try to understand our master's mind, while I undergo the trial." saying this he walked forward, he was the youngest looking in the group, and without fear, he continued to walk forward and grabbed the scythe.

"Do you not fear death?" The scythe's voice sounds loudly for all to hear.

"Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!" the five men started laughing as they heard the question.

"We do not fear the inevitable, the true followers of the original serpent never die, death is but a chance for us to shine on another stage, and work closer to master." answered the man with his hand on the scythe.

"Mhm, good answer." the scythe's voice sounded again, after which the man holding on to the scythe, his eyes when blank as he was pulled into the scythe to undergo the trial.

"I want everything that happens here monitored and recorded, even if it's an ant walking on a tree I want it recorded." ordered Fury to the surrounding agents.

While all the agents started snapping back from the shock they had received, Mr. Charles was the only one present with the courage to walk forward heading towards the four old men standing together.

"Where is he going?" asked Aleister as he watched Mr. Charles walking forward.

Fury hearing Aleister's question looked around and spotted Mr. Charles walking forward, he quickly ran up to him with the intention of stopping him.

Right now Fury saw him as an important source of information, as Mr. Charles seemed to know about the weapon and the supposed God that made it, Fury had intended to quickly all the information he had out of him, but he couldn't do that if the man got himself killed by going up to these people.

"Charles stop, they are dangerous, Do you want to die?" asked Fury as he approached the man.

"It's fine, right now a puppy would be more dangerous than these men since the scythe spirit told them no killing, they won't kill." he answered shaking off Fury before finally approaching the men with Fury close behind him.

" Aleister said I simplified it power buy saying the scythe at its strongest could burn space, so how powerful is the scythe exactly?" he asked the men, offering them not even the smallest greeting.

As if timed, they turned and looked at Charles in unison.

"Leave us before I kill you." spoke one of the men as they turned back away returning their attention to the scythe.

"We both know as soon as you make a move with the intention of killing me, the one who would most likely die would be you."

"..."

The men said nothing and continued to watch the scythe.

"What position do you guys have??, Is it guardian or maybe priest?" asked Charles.

Hearing Charles's question, the men turned to face him again, the seriousness in their eyes now was clearly seen by Charles and Fury.

"How do you know of those things?" asked one of the men.

"Why don't you answer my question first?"

"It seems, that someone is speaking on things that shouldn't be said, let's read his mind." another of the men stepped forward his intention clear.

"Stop Cirus."

"Since you know that information you should know the result of knowing it without actually being a part of the church."

"So I'll ask you once, are you apart of the church of the original serpent?"
