Scene Break - Location: The Moon
As Zaegar lounged on the moon's surface, his tiny dragon form perched atop a pile of discarded automata and space pirate corpses, he couldn't help but find the situation utterly amusing. With an oversized astronaut helmet perched atop the heads of the four kings, Zaegar turned his attention to the traumatized figure of Enel.
With a mischievous glint in his eye and a wicked grin on his draconic face, Zaegar leaned in close to Enel, his voice dripping with sarcasm and dark humor.
Zaegar: Say, Enel, have you ever heard that it's perfectly legal to own slaves in some parts of the world? Quite the fascinating little tidbit, wouldn't you say?
Enel's eyes widened in horror at Zaegar's nonchalant remark, his expression a mixture of shock and disbelief at the hollow's twisted sense of humor. Unable to respond, he simply stared at Zaegar in mute horror, his mind reeling from the sheer absurdity of the situation.
Second King: Zaegar, I don't think he's in the mood for chatting. He looks... traumatized.
Third King: let's not jump to conclusions. Maybe he just needs someone to talk to.
Fourth King: I don't know about you guys, but I'm just here for the snacks.
Zaegar chuckles at the banter of the four kings, their antics providing a brief moment of levity in the midst of chaos. Turning his attention back to Enel, he grins mischievously, his eyes gleaming with amusement.
Zaegar: So, Enel, how's the space exploration going? Find any new civilizations to conquer?
Enel's expression darkens at Zaegar's jest, his eyes narrowing with a mixture of annoyance and resentment.
Enel: This isn't a game, Zaegar. I'm trying to build a new kingdom here, one that will surpass even the might of Skypiea. But with you around, it's been nothing but chaos and destruction.
Zaegar's grin widens at Enel's frustration, his laughter echoing through the vacuum of space as he revels in the god's discomfort.
Zaegar: Oh, come on, Enel! Where's your sense of humor? We're just having a little fun, that's all. Besides, what's a little chaos among friends?
Enel grits his teeth in frustration, his patience wearing thin as he struggles to maintain his composure in the face of Zaegar's taunts.
Enel: Enough! I won't let you ruin everything I've worked so hard to achieve. If you don't leave willingly, then I'll make you leave by force.
Zaegar's laughter echoes through the emptiness of space as Enel's frustration boils over, his eyes flashing with anger at the dragon's antics. However, before he can respond, Zaegar's tone shifts, his voice taking on a more serious edge as he reminds Enel of their first encounter.
Zaegar: Oh, Enel, do you remember the first time we met? You were so full of yourself, strutting around like you owned the place. And then you had the audacity to attack me, all because I made a little joke about your long ears.
Enel's expression darkens at the memory, his mind flashing back to the humiliating defeat he suffered at Zaegar's hands. The memory of his arrogance and overconfidence stings, a bitter reminder of his past mistakes.
Enel: I remember... You humiliated me, Zaegar. But that won't happen again. This time, I'll make sure you pay for your insolence.
Zaegar chuckles at Enel's threat, his amusement undiminished by the god's bravado. With a casual flick of his tail, he grabbed a wanted poster from his ass, holding it out for Enel to see.
Zaegar: Speaking of paying for things, have you seen this old man with a majestic mustache? He's my partner in crime, and it's been a week or two since we last saw him.
Enel examines the wanted poster with a furrowed brow, his eyes scanning the image of the mysterious old man with interest. However, after a moment of consideration, he shakes his head in response.
Enel: No, I haven't seen him. But even if I had, what makes you think he would be here, of all places?
Zaegar's grin widens at Enel's question, his eyes gleaming with mischief as he leans in closer to the god.
Zaegar: Ah, come on Thundertits, you underestimate the power of coincidence. Who's to say that fate hasn't brought us here for a reason? Besides, where else would an old man with a penchant for mischief and chaos go but the moon?
Enel's expression shifts from anger to frustration, his patience wearing thin as he struggles to make sense of Zaegar's cryptic words. However, before he can respond, the first king interrupts, his voice muffled by the duct tape covering his mouth.
First King: Mmmph! Zaegar, you fucking idiot! We're on the moon! How do you expect to find Yhwach here of all places?
Zaegar sighs in exasperation at the first king's outburst, reaching over to pull the duct tape from his mouth with a swift motion. The first king gasps for breath, his eyes wide with panic as he stares at Zaegar in disbelief.
First King: Are you insane? We can't just search the entire moon for Yhwach! It's impossible!
Zaegar shrugs nonchalantly at the first king's protests, his expression one of casual indifference.
Zaegar: Nothing is fucking impossible, birdie. Besides, where's your sense of adventure? We'll find Yhwach one way or another, even if it means turning the entire Omniverse upside down to do it.
Enel sighs in resignation at Zaegar's determination, realizing that there's no reasoning with the chaotic one when he sets his mind to something.
Enel: Fine, Zaegar. I'll help you search for this old man of yours. But if we don't find him soon, I'm going to make you regret ever dragging me into this mess.
Zaegar's grin widens at Enel's begrudging acceptance, his eyes gleaming with excitement at the prospect of their upcoming adventure.
Zaegar: Excellent! Now, let's get started, shall we? The sooner we find Yhwach, the sooner we can get back to causing chaos and mayhem.
With those words, Zaegar leaps into the air, his tiny dragon form soaring across the lunar landscape with Enel following close behind.
Enel stares incredulously at Zaegar as he pulls a newspaper seemingly out of thin air, his eyes narrowing with suspicion at the dragon's antics.
Enel: Where did you even get that newspaper from?
Zaegar chuckles in response to Enel's question, his grin widening as he holds the newspaper out for the god to see.
Zaegar: Oh, you know, I have my ways. But more importantly, take a look at this headline.
Enel eyes the newspaper that Zaegar grabbed out of his ass with a mixture of skepticism and curiosity. Folding his arms across his chest, he regards the dragon with a raised eyebrow.
Enel: And what, pray tell, does Ace's execution have to do with finding this Yhwach?
Zaegar chuckles at Enel's question, his eyes twinkling with mischief as he unfolds the newspaper and points to the headline.
Zaegar: Ah, my dear Enel, it's all about connections. You see, where there's smoke, there's fire. And where there's a high-profile event like Ace's execution, there's bound to be chaos and upheaval. And where there's chaos and upheaval, you can bet your bottom beli that someone like Yhwach will be lurking in the shadows, pulling the strings.
Enel's eyes narrow as he considers Zaegar's explanation, his mind racing to connect the dots. While he's not entirely convinced by the dragon's logic, he can't deny the possibility of Yhwach being drawn to events of significance.
Enel: So you're suggesting that we use Ace's execution as bait to lure Yhwach out into the open?
Zaegar nods enthusiastically at Enel's question, his grin widening with excitement.
Zaegar: Precisely! It's the perfect plan if I do say so myself. We'll attend the execution, keep an eye out for any suspicious activity, and then pounce on Yhwach the moment he shows his face. It's foolproof!
As they Embark on their search for Yhwach, the first king can't help but shake his head in disbelief at the absurdity of it all.
First King: This is madness... Utter fucking madness.
Scene Break - Location: Sabaody Archipelago Grove 55 The Shipyard
After the intense battle with Admiral Kizaru, during which Yhwach unleashed his explosive abilities, Kizaru was suddenly called away by Sengoku, leaving Yhwach victorious but battered. Seizing the opportunity, Yhwach grabbed Rayleigh by the neck and dragged him to the shipyard to fulfill their agreement of providing Yhwach with a better boat.
Rayleigh had been upgrading the ship for a few days now, transforming it into a brigantine/brig, a significant improvement from the rowboat Yhwach had been using. Yhwach watched with satisfaction as the ship took shape, enjoying the prospect of no longer having to row manually.
Now, sitting comfortably on the shores watching Rayleigh work on his new ship, Yhwach sipped tea and perused the newspaper, catching up on the latest events, including the news of Ace's execution. As he relaxed, he engaged in a mental conversation with Ginjo, reflecting on the recent events and considering their next moves.
Ginjo's voice echoed in Yhwach's mind, his tone reflective as he broached the topic of Ace's execution.
Ginjo: (Within Yhwach's mind) So, Yhwach, what are your thoughts on Portgaz D. Ace's execution? It seems to have caused quite a stir in the world of pirates and Marines alike.
Yhwach glanced up from the newspaper, his expression impassive as he considered Ginjo's question. After a moment of contemplation, he responded with a dismissive wave of his hand.
Yhwach: (Mental link) Ace's execution? It's just another pirate meeting his end, nothing more. He committed crimes, he got caught, and now he's facing the consequences. Nothing particularly noteworthy, if you ask me.
Ginjo's eyebrows raised slightly at Yhwach's casual dismissal of Ace's execution, his tone thoughtful as he considered the Quincy king's response.
As they continued to converse, the sound of footsteps drew their attention, and Yhwach turned to see Rayleigh approaching with a satisfied smile on his face.
Rayleigh: The ship is ready, Dragon Slayer. She's a beauty, if I do say so myself.
Yhwach rose from his seat, his eyes gleaming with excitement as he admired the newly upgraded ship. Then Yhwach's gaze shifted from the ship to Rayleigh, a faint smirk playing on his lips as he considered the former first mate of the Roger Pirates.
Yhwach: And I trust you've ensured that she's properly coated for the Grand Line?
Rayleigh nodded in confirmation, his expression serious as he addressed Yhwach's concern.
Rayleigh: Of course, Dragon Slayer. I made sure to apply multiple layers of coating to withstand the unpredictable weather and sea conditions of the Grand Line. You won't have to worry about that.
Yhwach's smirk widened into a satisfied grin at Rayleigh's assurance. He then noticed the rowboat secured on the deck of the ship and raised an eyebrow in curiosity.
Yhwach: And what's this? Have you brought the rowboat aboard?
Rayleigh chuckled at Yhwach's observation, his eyes twinkling with amusement as he explained.
Rayleigh: Consider it a backup plan, just in case. You never know when you might need a smaller vessel for stealthier maneuvers or quick getaways.
Yhwach watched as Rayleigh made the final preparations, a sense of gratitude warming his chest despite their rocky start. He nodded appreciatively at the former first mate of the Roger Pirates.
Yhwach: Thank you, Rayleigh. Your efforts are much appreciated.
Rayleigh gave a respectful nod in return, his expression softening slightly as he regarded Yhwach with a hint of respect.
Rayleigh: You're welcome, Dragon Slayer. May your journey be safe and fruitful.
With that, Rayleigh departed to attend to other matters, leaving Yhwach alone with Ginjo once more. As they sat in silence for a moment, Ginjo's chuckle broke the quietude, drawing Yhwach's attention.
Ginjo: (Within Yhwach's mind) Y'know, Yhwach, it's kinda funny when you think about it. The Quincy king sailed the Grand Line like some swashbuckling pirate. Bet old man Yamamoto would've had a fit if he were still kickin'.
Yhwach's lips curved into a wry smile at Ginjo's observation, his eyes glinting with amusement at the irony of the situation.
Yhwach: (Mental link) True enough, Ginjo. Imagining Yamamoto's reaction is rather entertaining. He'd probably rise from the grave just to lead the charge against me with the Marines.
Ginjo chuckled at Yhwach's response, a sense of camaraderie evident in their mental conversation.
Ginjo: (Within Yhwach's mind) It would be quite the spectacle, wouldn't it? But enough about old men and their grudges. What's our next move, Yhwach?
Yhwach's smile faded as he considered Ginjo's question, his mind already whirling with possibilities. However, before he could respond, a sudden commotion from the nearby crowd caught his attention.
Crowd Member: Hey, did you hear? There's a live broadcast starting soon! They say it's something big!
Yhwach's interest was piqued by the mention of a live broadcast, his curiosity driving him to investigate further. With a nod to Ginjo, he rose from his seat and made his way towards the source of the commotion, the newspaper forgotten in his hand.
Scene Break - Location: Marineford, Marine Headquarters
All around the world, people voice their opinions on the execution and if Whitebeard will really show up. A few doubt his strength due to his old age and the number of the Marine forces. Others, who personally met Whitebeard and even retired from piracy just by being around him, think otherwise. Even children know of Whitebeard's raw strength and sing a playground song about him. Meanwhile, the inhabitants of Marineford, a city where the families of Marines reside, have been evacuated due to the coming war. On the Sabaody Archipelago, monitors have been set up to broadcast the execution to its inhabitants as Ace arrives at the execution stand. The patrol ships sent to deal with Whitebeard's forces are sunk and never heard from again. Thus, Marineford is understandably on edge as the three hours until the execution counts down.
John Giant rallied his forces as a staggering one hundred thousand elite troops prepared for battle. Fifty Marine ships are stationed around the island, with cannons lining the coastline. The Warlords of the Sea are at the forefront of it all. Ace is located atop the execution stand at the rear of the island. Watching over him are the three Marine Admirals, Kizaru, Akainu, and Aokiji.
( Image )With this, nearly every justice force imaginable is gathered, waiting for Whitebeard to make his move.
( Image )While they were waiting, Sengoku took the opportunity to make an announcement to the Marines and the world.
He glanced down at the countless elite Marines assembled in the square, cleared his throat, and spoke in a resonant voice.
Sengoku: Before we proceed with the execution of Fire Fist Ace, there's something I must convey—a message about the significance of Portgas D. Ace, the man, meeting his end here today.
Upon hearing Sengoku's words, Ace's eyes constricted, and an overwhelming sense of unease flooded his heart.
And below, the Marine elites gathered in the square gradually fell silent as they heard Sengoku's solemn words, anticipating his next announcement.
Once the square grew quiet, Sengoku moved the Den Den Mushi in his hand a little closer and spoke in a deep voice.
Sengoku: Ace... Tell me the name of your father!
Hearing Sengoku's perplexing question, everyone present was momentarily stunned, feeling a bit bewildered.
Marine Officer #1: Isn't his father Whitebeard?
A Marine officer said as his fellow marines were also slightly confused at the question.
Marine Officer #2: If I remember correctly, it should be.
Another officer chimed in, his words slightly slurred from one too many cups of sake.
Marine Officer #3: But, Fleet Admiral, Why would he suddenly ask such a question?
The group of Marine elites murmured in hushed voices, their faces showing confusion.
Ace turned his head slightly at this moment and glanced at Sengoku beside him. After a brief pause, he closed his eyes and replied with a deep voice.
Ace: My old man is, Whitebeard!
However, just as he answered Sengoku's question, he was immediately contradicted loudly by the Fleet Admiral.
Sengoku: Wrong!
Upon realizing what Sengoku intended to achieve, Ace finally understood. He never wanted this matter to be exposed, and he didn't want everyone to find out that Whitebeard wasn't his biological father.
Thus, Ace roared and retorted.
Ace: There's nothing wrong with that. Whitebeard is my father! No one else!
Hearing Ace's firm tone, Sengoku chose not to continue arguing with him.
Slowly turning his head, he looked at the many Marines in the square and began to explain the whole incident.
Sengoku proceeded to tell everyone the story of his birth. Of how Portgas D. Rouge had kept her pregnancy going for 20 months through sheer will, all in order to deceive the world
Sengoku: A child was born, carrying the blood of the vilest man in the world! That child was you!
Sengoku stated as he looked at Ace with narrowed eyes. before continuing.
Sengoku: Your Father is...
Just as Sengoku began to reveal the truth about Ace's parentage, a sudden disturbance shattered the moment. Before he could finish his sentence, Zaegar, using Sonído, appeared in front of Sengoku in a blur of motion. With a swift movement, he slapped him and snatched the Den Den Mushi from Sengoku's hand, his voice echoing across the world.
Zaegar: YHWACH, YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE! WE'VE BEEN FUCKING LOOKING FOR YOU FOR ABOUT A WEEK! DID YOU EVEN TRY TO LOOK FOR US?
Sengoku staggered back in shock at Zaegar's sudden appearance and outburst, his eyes widening with disbelief and anger at the audacity of the dragon. The Marines in the square were equally stunned, their mouths agape as they tried to process what had just transpired.
Scene Break - Location: Live Broadcast Sabaody Archipelago
Yhwach watched the live broadcast on Sabaody Archipelago, his eyes widening in surprise as he spotted Zaegar confronting Sengoku. With a mixture of annoyance and amusement, he muttered something under his breath, his hand instinctively reaching up to massage his temples in frustration.
Ginjo, who had been observing the scene with interest, burst into laughter at Zaegar's antics, his amusement evident in his voice as he addressed Yhwach.
Ginjo: (Within Yhwach's mind) Looks like our friend has quite the flair for dramatic entrances, Yhwach. I must admit, I didn't expect him to steal the spotlight like this.
Yhwach's expression darkened at Ginjo's comment, his irritation growing with each passing moment as he watched Zaegar's impulsive behavior unfold.
Yhwach: (Mental link) This is hardly the time or place for his antics.
As Yhwach spoke, Rayleigh stood nearby, his gaze fixed on the screen with a mixture of surprise and curiosity. This was the first time he had heard Yhwach's name, and he couldn't help but wonder about the connection between the Dragon Slayer and the chaotic dragon causing havoc at Marineford.
Rayleigh: Yhwach, you say? Interesting...
With a thoughtful expression, Rayleigh turned his attention back to the screen, his mind buzzing with questions about the enigmatic figure known as Yhwach.
Yhwach watched the chaos unfolding on the screen with a mixture of frustration and amusement. As Zaegar's outburst echoed through the broadcast, Yhwach sighed heavily, his irritation mounting at the dragon's reckless behavior.
Yhwach: (Mental link) Ginjo, you asked if I would join the war. Well, it seems fate has decided for me. I cannot allow Zaegar to run amok unchecked any longer.
With a determined glint in his eyes, Yhwach rose to his feet, his gaze fixed on the screen as he addressed Ginjo's unanswered question.
Yhwach: (Mental link) I will join the fray. But first, I must deal with Zaegar and put an end to his antics once and for all.
As Yhwach spoke, Rayleigh's voice broke through his thoughts, drawing his attention back to the present. With a slight nod, Yhwach acknowledged Rayleigh's question, his expression serious as he considered his response.
Rayleigh: Dragon Slayer, is Yhwach your name?
Yhwach turned to face Rayleigh, his eyes meeting the former first mate's gaze.
Yhwach: Yes, that is my name.
Rayleigh's eyebrows rose slightly at Yhwach's confirmation, his curiosity piqued by the enigmatic title.
Rayleigh: And where do you intend to go, Dragon Slayer?
Yhwach's smirk widened into a confident grin as he gazed out at the horizon, his eyes alight with determination.
Yhwach: Marineford. I have unfinished business there.
Rayleigh's eyebrows raised slightly at Yhwach's declaration, his expression one of mild surprise.
Rayleigh: You do realize that you won't be able to arrive in time for whatever is happening there?
Yhwach's grin only widened at Rayleigh's skepticism, his confidence unwavering as he spoke.
Yhwach: Oh, I'll arrive in time, Rayleigh. Trust me.
Scene Break - Location: Marineford, Marine Headquarters
Back at Marineford, chaos erupted as Zaegar's sudden appearance and outburst threw the entire execution site into disarray. The Marines scrambled to regain control, their shouts and commands drowned out by the commotion.
Sengoku, regaining his composure, glared at Zaegar with a mixture of anger and frustration, his voice booming across the square as he addressed the dragon.
Sengoku: You dare interrupt this execution with your reckless behavior, intruder! Who are you, and what is the meaning of this intrusion?
Zaegar, unfazed by Sengoku's stern reprimand, hovered in the air with a cocky grin on his face, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
Zaegar: Oh, come on, You Afro-haired old man! Can't a dragon have a little fun every now and then? Besides, I'm just here to deliver a message to my bestio friendo Yhwach. Surely you can understand the importance of maintaining friendships in times of crisis?
As Sengoku was about to reply to Zaegar, he stopped mid-sentence, his attention drawn to the horizon where countless pirate ships bearing various Jolly Rogers began to emerge. It was the grand fleet of Whitebeard, and they were making their presence known in a dramatic fashion.
The soldiers and Marines in the square looked on in shock as the sea seemed to come alive with the sheer number of ships rising from its depths. The tension in the air thickened as the realization dawned on them: Whitebeard was making his move, and he was bringing his full force to Marineford.
There was a moment of silence before the soldier started noticing something coming from the water of Marineford Bay.
Soldier: I see a shadow in the bay!
Everyone looked in anticipation just then Sengoku realized something before going on to state something.
Sengoku: The Moby Dick... They coated their ships and approached underwater... I can't believe this...
Sengoku said as he narrowed his eyes a bit, some sweat rising on his brow. before waves erupted and water splashed around as a big shadow appeared underwater.
Just like in the anime, The Whitebeard's big main three ships, the Moby Dick appeared from below the waters in a move no one expected.
Marine Officer #4: T-There are three Whitebeard Pirate Ships!
A Marine Officer stated looking at the three ships.
Marine Officer #5: They've infiltrated the bay!
As the Three ships made it to the surface, the coating went off, and the Whitebeard commanders were clearly standing on their ship's deck.
( Image )
Marine Officer #6: ...1st Division commander...Marco!
Another Marine officer exclaimed in surprise.
Marine Officer #7: 14 commanders...They're all here!
Everyone looked in surprise even Ace who was sitting in the execution stand all wrapped in chains and shackles.
The Mobydick was the main ship, the only one that had the figurehead of a white whale. And a tall man walked out brazenly on it, no trace of fear at all, as he stared down the entire combined might of the navy.
( Gif )His scalp was hidden by a black bandana, his scarred body was clothed in a white captain's coat, and a pair of loose pants tucked inside his large black boots.
The man held onto his signature weapon, the Murakumogiri. A massive Naginata, one that fits the size of the gargantuan man that wielded it.
This was Edward Newgate, known far and wide as Whitebeard, a man whose bounty stood at a staggering 5,046,000,000 Berries.
Sengoku: I can't believe that we let them get this close!
Sengoku said in shock while standing near Ace.
Whitebeard: You better tell me that my beloved son…is all right, Sengoku.
Standing tall and gracefully on top of his ship, Whitebeard carried a smile on his face.
Sengoku: Whitebeard...
Sengoku gritted his teeth and whispered, his face turning serious.
Ace: POPS!
Ace shouted in that instant, making the old pirate smile in the distance.
Whitebeard's laughter echoed across the bay, a deep, booming sound that seemed to reverberate through the air.
Whitebeard: Gurararara! Just wait in there, Ace. I'll get you in a second.
Whitebeard proceeded to thrust his bisento into the ship's surface before he brought his fist to his stomach, crossing his arms in the process, and then he stretched his fists on both sides of his body, punching the air with force.
Marine Officer #8: An earthquake, he's distorting the sea!!!
The marines seemed to fear this motion, as the air around Whitebeard started cracking, space itself became distorted, and tremors were sent across the seas.
Water levels rose in that instant, creating larger and larger waves in the distance. Zaegar could see them... The approaching Tsunamis threatened to swallow Marineford.
The three Admirals, Aokiji, Akainu, and Kizaru sat calmly on their chairs. Just as everyone thought that the tsunami would come crashing down on everyone. Aokiji quickly jumped from his seat and in an instant, he froze the entire sea.
Aokiji: Ice Age!
Whitebeard's smile didn't fade away even after seeing that.
Whitebeard: Aokiji, you little brat.
Immediately after Whitebeard said that Aokiji looked at him and then attacked him.
Aokiji: Ice Block…Partisan!
Aokiji created several spears of ice by solidifying the cold air around him, but before he could launch them Whitebeard used his tremor attack again, cracking the air and shattering the spears along with Aokiji himself who turned into small ice blocks and fell into the sea in the bay.
But just as Aokiji's body hit the water, he immediately froze the entire place along with Whitebeard's ship.
Sengoku: FIRE!!
Sengoku said as the Marines received orders, cannon shots were fired at the pirates, the Whitebeard Pirates did the same and they also used the cannons on their ships to fire back while other ones steeped into the ice ground and charged toward the walls.
Seeing that, the Vice Admirals finally moved. Vice-Admiral Momonga, Vice-Admiral Onigumo. They all proceeded to attack the pirates.
The battle raged on as the marines and the Whitebeard Pirates clashed, but the Warlords seemed to be quite so far, that is until Mihawk suddenly pulled out his sword 'Yoru' and sent a massively powerful sword slash toward Whitebeard.
Meanwhile, Zaegar hovered in the air above the chaos, his eyes glittering with excitement as he watched the scene unfold.
Zaegar: (In thought) Now this is what I call a party!
As the chaos of battle raged on, the fourth king finally arrived at Zaegar's side, his expression a mix of urgency and discomfort.
Fourth King: Zaegar, we made a quick stop with Enel. The third king's stomach has been acting up again.
Zaegar turned to the fourth king with a raised eyebrow, his amusement evident in his voice as he responded.
Zaegar: Seriously? Again? That guy needs to lay off the spicy food. Alright, let's go check on him. Can't have one of our kings incapacitated during such an entertaining spectacle.
The fourth king nodded in agreement, a sheepish expression crossing his face as he rubbed the back of his neck.
Fourth King: Yeah, tell me about it. Anyway, what's our next move? Are we joining the fray, or are we sticking to the sidelines?
Zaegar considered the question for a moment, his eyes scanning the chaos below before turning back to the fourth king with a mischievous grin.
Zaegar: Oh, we're definitely joining the fun. But first, let's make things a little more interesting, shall we?
As Zaegar grabbed a sandal and a boomerang from his ass, his eyes sparkled with mischief and excitement. With a mischievous grin plastered on his face, he launched himself into the air with a powerful leap, defying gravity as he soared above the chaotic battlefield.
With the sandal in one hand and the boomerang in the other, Zaegar's voice echoed across the battlefield in a taunting challenge.
Zaegar: OI!, OLD MAN! LET'S FUCKING DANCE!
His words carried on the wind as he hurtled through the air with incredible speed, aiming straight for Whitebeard's towering figure. As he descended upon the battlefield like a whirlwind of chaos, his eyes gleamed with anticipation for the upcoming confrontation.
Whitebeard: Young people get more and more impressive each generation!
Whitebeard said as he smiled at that scene.
Marco, as well as a few of the captains, wanted to quickly intercept the crazy mad hollow that was trying to attack their father.
But all of them stopped when Whitebeard showed them the back of his palm, signaling them to stand down.
Whitebeard then stepped heavily on his ship, making it shake in the water as his blade also seemed to turn black, with red lightning crackling around it.
He quickly turned around slightly and swung his naginata upwards, meeting Zaegar's sandal halfway.
What followed was a clash that managed to shock the world.
Their weapons didn't get to touch, as their wills clashed first.
The world around them slowed to a crawl, and the birds in the sky seemed to flee in fear excluding the four kings. The skies were ripped wide open as the waves around Marineford stopped in their tracks.
The air broke at Whitebeard's blade, as the veins on the old man's arms became more and more apparent.
The shockwave pushed every marine back, the rest of the whitebeard pirates on board were also forced to plunge their weapons into the ship in order to hold on.
Marco: Pops!
Marco plugged one of his talons into the ship, as his wings protected most of the crewmembers behind him.
The two fighters that were clashing had completely closed off their perception of the world around them though, their wills focused entirely on one another.
Whitebeard didn't seem to be mad about the crazy attack and strange weapon Zaegar had used, instead, all of the people could hear a burst of loud laughter.
Zaegar/Whitebeard: Gurarararara!/Hahahahahaha!
Both Zaegar and Edward Newgate were testing their willpower against each other. Each tried to push the other a bit more with each second that passed.
In the end, the strongest man alive obviously prevailed, his large arms flexing with his muscles straining a bit. the only reason that happened was due to Zaegar's current form but nonetheless, Zaegar didn't complain about it.
Zaegar was blasted backward, he ended up being plunged like a nail into one of Marineford's buildings in the distance, breaking it completely in the process as a dust cloud obscured everyone's view of Zaegar's state.
But the clash itself had lasted for around a dozen seconds. Something that far exceeded everyone's expectations.
Thus, everyone can see clearly the power of someone who once rivaled the Pirate King. Suddenly John Giant tries to attack him, but then Whitebeard pulls the air from above as if he is pulling a curtain. The effect of his action is incomparable to curtain pulling.
A very powerful earthquake appears and affects the whole of Marineford. It's so powerful that the island tilts to a side and the sea around the island rises. It's like he splits the world around him into circles with him as the center using the earthquake.
Everyone who never saw Whitebeard's full power is shocked by this. Whitebeard punches John using an earthquake punch and defeats the giant Vice-Admiral. The quake power of that punch, however, is still moving toward the plaza. It's about to hit the execution platform and the pirates hope it will destroy the platform, but it suddenly stops right before hitting the platform.
It gets stopped by the 3 Admirals who used advanced haki. But Zaegar from afar can see the Admiral's arms are shaking slightly. He grins because this means that Whitebeard is not as weak as he was thought. Besides, Squard didn't stab him, so he is still in full health.
Scene Break
Meanwhile, Yhwach in the air heading to Marineford was in a deep conversation with Ginjo and suddenly felt a shift in the air around him. His senses tingled with the unmistakable presence of immense power, and he turned his gaze toward the horizon, his eyes narrowing as he beheld the spectacle unfolding in the distance.
Yhwach: (Mental link) Ginjo, something significant is happening at Marineford. The power I sense... it's formidable.
Ginjo's voice echoed in Yhwach's mind, his tone reflecting a mixture of curiosity and caution as he responded to the Quincy king's observation.
Ginjo: (Within Yhwach's mind) What do you sense, Yhwach? Is it Zaegar?
Yhwach nodded grimly, his mind already racing with possibilities as he considered the implications of Whitebeard's arrival at Marineford.
Yhwach: (Mental link) Yes, it's Zaegar. But there's something else... another presence, one I haven't encountered before. It's... intriguing.
As Yhwach spoke, the ocean below him trembled slightly, and he cast his gaze back toward the unfolding chaos, his expression one of focused intensity.
Yhwach: (Mental link) Whatever is happening at Marineford, it's bound to have far-reaching consequences. We must proceed with caution.
Ginjo's voice resonated in agreement with Yhwach's assessment, his tone serious as he acknowledged the gravity of the situation.
Ginjo: (Within Yhwach's mind) Agreed, Yhwach. We must tread carefully. But knowing you, I doubt caution will be your first instinct.
Yhwach's lips curved into a wry smile at Ginjo's observation, his eyes gleaming with determination as he prepared to make his move.
Yhwach: (Mental link) You know me too well, Ginjo. Let's see what unfolds at Marineford. It's time to join the fray.
Scene Break
Zaegar emerged from the rubble of the building he had been flung into, dusting off debris from his clothes. He grinned broadly, his eyes glinting with excitement and mischief. With a series of nimble flips and acrobatic twists, he made his way back to the forefront of the battlefield, landing deftly in front of Whitebeard.
Zaegar: Alright, old man! Round two! But first, let's have a little fun.
Without waiting for a response, Zaegar began to move rhythmically, his body flowing with an almost hypnotic grace. His movements were a bizarre combination of breakdancing and martial arts, each step and spin defying the chaos around him. The Marines and pirates alike paused in their combat to watch this surreal spectacle unfold.
Whitebeard, standing tall with his naginata in hand, watched Zaegar's antics with a bemused expression. His powerful presence seemed to dominate the battlefield, yet there was a spark of amusement in his eyes as he observed the dancing dragon.
Whitebeard: Gurararara! You're a strange one, aren't you? Not many would dare to challenge me with a dance.
Zaegar continued his movements, flipping and spinning closer to Whitebeard with each passing second. His voice rang out clear and playful, full of unrestrained joy.
Zaegar: Life's too short to be serious all the time! Besides, what's a fight without a little fun?
Whitebeard's laughter boomed across the battlefield, his grip on the naginata tightening as he prepared for the inevitable clash.
Whitebeard: Very well, then. Let's see if you can keep up with this old man!
As Whitebeard spoke, he swung his naginata in a wide arc, sending a powerful shockwave toward Zaegar. The ground trembled, and the air crackled with energy as the attack surged forward. Zaegar's eyes sparkled with excitement as he twisted his body mid-dance, evading the shockwave with a graceful leap.
Zaegar: Nice try, but you'll have to do better than that to catch me!
With a burst of speed, Zaegar closed the distance between himself and Whitebeard, his movements a blur of agility and precision. He struck out with his sandal and boomerang in rapid succession, each strike aimed at testing the legendary pirate's defenses. Whitebeard parried the attacks with ease, his naginata moving like an extension of his own body.
The clash of their wills and weapons sent shockwaves through the battlefield, the very air seeming to vibrate with the intensity of their encounter. Marines and pirates alike were forced to shield their eyes from the sheer force of their confrontation.
Whitebeard: You're quick, I'll give you that. But speed alone won't be enough to best me!
Zaegar laughed, his movements never faltering as he danced around Whitebeard's powerful strikes.
Zaegar: Who said anything about besting you? I'm just here to have a good time!
The two combatants continued their dance of battle, their clashes sending ripples of energy across Marineford. Despite the chaos around them, there was an undeniable sense of respect in Whitebeard's eyes as he faced this unconventional opponent.
Whitebeard: Gurararara! You've got some spirit, brat! I haven't seen someone so lively in a long time. But don't think I'll go easy on you just because you can dance.
Zaegar's grin widened at Whitebeard's words, his movements becoming even more fluid and expressive.
Zaegar: Then let's make this fight one for the history books, old man!
Zaegar continued his erratic dance, each movement flowing seamlessly into the next. Suddenly, he lunged at Whitebeard, his limbs a blur of motion. Whitebeard's grin widened as he swung his naginata with lightning speed, meeting Zaegar's attack head-on.
The clash was electrifying. Sparks flew as the two forces collided, creating shockwaves that rippled through the battlefield. Despite the ferocity of their confrontation, Zaegar's movements remained fluid and dance-like, evading Whitebeard's strikes with an uncanny grace.
Zaegar: (Grinning) Not bad, old man! But let's see how you handle this!
With a sudden burst of speed, Zaegar flipped backward and hurled his boomerang at Whitebeard. The weapon curved through the air with deadly precision. Whitebeard swung his naginata, deflecting the boomerang with a powerful strike that sent it spinning off into the distance.
Whitebeard: Gurararara! You've got some interesting tricks, kid. But it'll take more than that to best me!
As Whitebeard spoke, Zaegar leaped into the air, his sandal poised for another strike. Whitebeard braced himself, but instead of attacking directly, Zaegar twisted his body mid-air and performed a series of rapid spins, creating a vortex of wind around him.
Zaegar: Windmill Dance!
The vortex expanded, whipping up debris and creating a powerful gust that pushed back the Marines and pirates nearby. Whitebeard's eyes narrowed as he tightened his grip on his naginata, preparing for Zaegar's next move.
Whitebeard: Impressive. But you're not the only one who can shake the battlefield.
Whitebeard raised his fist and punched the air, sending a shockwave that shattered the wind vortex and blasted Zaegar backward. Zaegar landed on his feet, skidding to a stop as he laughed maniacally.
Zaegar: You're one tough bastard, old man. But this is just getting started!
Zaegar's grin widened to a nearly unsettling degree, unnerving everyone nearby.
Whitebeard: Gurararara! Then come at me with everything you've got, brat!
Zaegar's grin widened even further as he raised his tiny finger, preparing to unleash a devastating attack. Whitebeard watched him intently, his expression a mix of amusement and anticipation. But just as Zaegar was about to unleash his attack, both he and Whitebeard noticed something falling from the sky.
Soldier #1: What's that? Something's falling from the sky!
Soldier #2: Is that a surprise attack from the Whitebeard Pirates?
Soldier #3: No, look! It's coming from above Marineford!
As the object plummeted closer to the ground, the soldiers and warriors alike strained their eyes to see what it was. Even Ace and the others bound to the execution stand couldn't help but look up.
Ace: Luffy...?
The realization dawned on Ace as he recognized the figure descending from the sky. It was none other than his adoptive brother, Monkey D. Luffy, and the other escapees from Impel Down and Marineford.
Buggy: I said that you were doing it too much!
Buggy exclaimed.
Crocodile: It's because of his wink!
Crocodile said.
Ivankov: Is it my fault, Croco?!
Ivankov asked.
Luffy: Doesn't matter, we're gonna die! It's frozen all over down there!
Luffy said as everyone was falling down.
Luffy: Oh! I'm a rubber man so I'll be fine!
Luffy stated nonchalantly as Buggy glared at him.
Buggy: I shouldn't have listened to you Straw Hat, damn it!!
Zaegar's grin faltered slightly as he observed Luffy's descent. He had encountered Straw Hat Boy, a while ago and viewed him as a joke but now he might have to re-evaluate him.
Zaegar: Hmph. Looks like the party's about to get even livelier.
The war had already jumpstarted, and Luffy was already being assisted by his companions as he ran towards Ace's platform.
Admiral Akainu was currently facing Whitebeard, Marco was fighting with Kizaru, holding him back, and Aokiji was also fighting a few of the captains by himself.
Akainu was having a difficult time matching up with a less-injured Whitebeard. But he was still holding his own.
Zaegar could see the pacifists being destroyed by Hancock, as she shielded Luffy from them. It was also at this point that Sengoku gave the executioners the word, and they raised their blades to execute Ace.
But before the executioners could execute Ace, a sudden surge of spiritual pressure washed over Marineford, causing everyone to pause in shock excluding Zaegar.
A figure appeared above the horizon, walking slowly in the air towards the center of the battlefield. His presence was both commanding and terrifying, his Reiatsu emanating power and authority.
( Image )To sum up what this old man has done:
He single-handedly destroyed approximately 35% of Mary Geoise, killed around 30 Celestial Dragons, and took down numerous CP agents. He went head-to-head with the Dark King Rayleigh and Admiral Kizaru on the Sabaody Archipelago.
In response to the grave threat posed by this individual, the World Government issued a bounty, dubbing him the worst sinner in history and placing a bounty of 2,100,000,000 Berries on his head.
This man has truly earned his title of 'Dragon Slayer'.
