The morning after the party.

"This is what we know so far...I have called for Tacito to come over and collaborate on this, he should be here any minute." Ned said looking at the time on his phone, Tacito was running late.

Nodding at him, "I already told Lu, no one is mad enough but that dirty-mouth Fernando to do something like this...I pity him though, the likes of Fernando aren't usually born evil but are made that way." Luciel replied.

"Whether was he born or made evil, it's what he did afterwards that matters, in the end his past will explain his actions, but it won't justify it." Ned spoke while glancing at Lucius.

The Alpha was visibly felling guilty about accusing Aroon of murder, especially now that It seems more like a misunderstanding just like Aroon said yesterday.

What added to Lucius's guilt was Aroon ignoring him this morning when they met in the hospital, Aroon went straight to Ned's office avoiding him.

Earlier this morning and Following his mother's orders, an unwilling Lucius approached Ned and Aroon and asked them to follow him to his mother's room, but only Ned agreed to come along, Aroon without a word or a glance just walked away.

"I'm sorry I...was late I've...taken my time." Tacito said coming into the room, "Is everything ok?" Ned asked smiling as he saw Tacito was wearing the outfit that Muriel got him as a gift yesterday.

"Oh yes!... everything is alright... sorry I couldn't...come by earlier...got a little...busy.

Yurei and I... started looking for... a new place...to live other...than...our old house!" Tacito replied with a hint of excitement, he looked down to notice Lucius in the room staring at him in a weird manner.

"You're Moving? Oh right! you guys probably don't want to stay in that place, after Fernando messed with it." Ned said ushering for him to take a seat near them, so Tacito did just that.

"You're beautiful btw, You're an Omega like me and Ned, isn't that right? " Luciel asked, "Yes sir...I am." Tacito replied smiling.

"Anyways, Can you tell us what you know about what happened, child?"

...An hour later...

Tacito spilt the beans on everything that happened so far, from his earliest childhood memories, to the trauma he endured at the hands of Fernando and the trap party, he told the mind-blown Satcliffes everything he Knew, further confirming everything Ned has told them.

"I know it seems unbelievable, but you have to take our word for it, we have absolutely nothing to gain from lying to you." Ned spoke-up, "Ned is right... although I don't... Know my mother's... motives...I can assure...you again that...Aroon is innocent." Tacito spoke after him.

"If there were others at that party, there is a huge possibility they will all come to the same conclusion as Lucius once they retrieve Their memories.

They would believe wholeheartedly that the one responsible for their deaths is Aroon, not Fernando." Luciel said worriedly.

"I chose to hide the real story when I hired Aroon in hopes to find the evidence that would either prove Aroon is guilty or innocent, while keeping him under a watchful eye." Ned said, "I had a feeling after meeting him in the Victorian era, that Aroon was a good guy and when I met you Luciel, you made me realize how much that assumption could be true." he added.

"And now I'm the bad guy." Lucius spoke, "I called the love of my life a 'Disgusting murderer' and screamed my lungs at him Yesterday...I didn't even give him a chance to defend himself."

"It's not that bad of a situation, Aroon isn't mad at you or at anyone as far as I know, he's mad at himself...and if you're ready to apologize Lucius, he's in my office probably napping after crying again...the last time I saw him cry this much was when you died." Ned said glancing at him.

"Would he listen to me if I tried to talk? I didn't listen to him yesterday." Lucius said swallowing, his eyes were filling with tears.

"You're not completely... wrong Lucius you... made an assumption....based on your... memories." Tacito said, "Anyone in...your shoes... could've make the...same mistake...what matters...is that you...do something...about it." he added with a soft smile.

"But I'm the person who promised him happiness his entire life, and the first thing I did was make him cry." Lucius said.

"Love is really complicated." Ned commented, "And I'm really sorry btw Lu, for saying those awful stuff to you Last night on the phone...I couldn't control myself." Luciel spoke glancing at his son, "It's okay mum, I deserved that." Lucius replied walking away, he left the room heading towards Ned's office in a rush.

He ran for a minute untill he reached the office door, nearly crashing through it.

After Taking few deep breaths, Lucius straightened himself up and knocked on the door few times.

When Lucius got no answer nor the door opened for him, he remembered that Ned mentioned Aroon might be asleep so he tried pushing the door open and it worked, he only pushed the door enough for his body to pass through.

"Aroon." he said as he noticed the Pinkette slumped over the couch by the wall, "Aroon?" he called quietly again but got no answer.

Aroon was soundly asleep taking a nap, the poor thing didn't get any good sleep last night and felt exhausted in the morning, so he took Ned's advice when he drove him to the hospital and saw how tired he was, and Decided to nap in the office.

Noticing a blanket at the feet of Aroon, Lucius picked it up and covered the sleeping assistant with it, "I'm sorry, I wish I can turn back time to erase what happened yesterday." Lucius whispered as he sat besides Aroon's head, stroking his pink hair gently, while watching his chest rise and fall as he slept.

"Jasper likes you, doesn't he?" Lucius said, "Why wouldn't he...You're a beautiful creature Aroon, inside and out...and you're probably gonna be better off with someone like him, than with someone like me." he said shedding a tear, "We're not mates, you don't have to wait for me, you don't have to chose me...You're free to love someone else Aroon, so why do you still pick me?"

"I know you don't believe in yourself to be a good match for me, but I don't want anyone else Lu...why would I go through the trouble of being an immortal to see you again, if I didn't love you." Aroon said taking him by surprise.

The light sleeper he was, Aroon woke-up as soon as Lucius put the blanket on him, but he was too tired to move or open his eyes, so he looked like he was still sleeping.

"Sorry, I must've woken you up!" Lucius said getting-up hastily, but Aroon held him by his wrist, "It's alright pookie, just stay with me for a while." Aroon replied lifting himself a little, Lucius sat back on the couch and Aroon laid his head on his lap, before drifting back to sleep.

...Meanwhile...

"THORN WE SLEPT IN! IT IS 11 AM!" Muriel shouted as a last resort to wake his mate up, "Ughhh, babe We're the bosses...the companies ain't going to blow-up if we slept in for one day!" Thorn replied turning to the other side of the bed.

Raising an eyebrow, "What am I going to do with you!" Muriel spoke shaking his head, Then he sighed, "Okay sugar, I guess you deserve to sleep in, after all that partying last night."

Throwing the sheets back onto the sleeping Thorn, Muriel wore his robe and slippers and quietly exited the bedroom.

As he went downstairs, the door Bell suddenly ringed, so Muriel found himself in a hurry to get down and open the door.

On the other side of the door, was a worried Socorro, Muriel didn't notify her that he was not coming to work, and yesterday after the party, the blonde Left with Thorn to the alpha's house, leaving Socorro alone in Muriel's house.

Muriel braced himself for a lecture, as soon as he opened the door, "Here's my resignation letter, I'm done with this shit! you can't even leave me a message to tell me you're not coming back home Muriel!" Socorro said shoving an envelope in Muriel's hand.

As she got inside, "Coco! I am sorry, hey! how about something to drink first?" Muriel said dragging her to the kitchen in order to calm her down.

The first thing he did was throw that resignation letter in the trashcan, before opening the fridge.

"Muriel, I am not against you taking days off, in fact I encourage it, but next time you're planning on disappearing like this, at least tell me your plans, you have medicines to take! do you want me to call Ned and tell him you have skipped on taking them again?"

"Coco, I am in perfect health, I do not need those medicines, besides what if they are harmful to the baby."

"The recipe book didn't say anything about it being bad to pregnant people."

"I am already feeling depressed because I can not fight anymore, I will not be sparring anymore with Ned or anyone else for that matter, so stop stressing me." Muriel said disappointed, he poured two cups of lemonade, one for Socorro and the second for himself and placed straws for the both of them.

"If I solved the sparing issues, will you promise me that you won't skip your medication ever again?" Socorro said, Muriel turned to her curiously, "What do mean by solving? there is a way for me to fight without getting hurt?" he asked.

"Yes, promise me first and we'll talk about it later."

"Okay! I promise you Coco! I shall not skip my medications again, only if you truly solve my issue."

"Deal." Socorro replied sipping from the lemonade, "This is actually good!" she said.

"It is, Thorn has been making the lemonade for me since that day at the vacation house." Muriel replied sipping on his cup as well.

"Oh the waterfront house, is Mallory still staying there?"

"My sister stayed there when she got shot, she is back on duty now...honestly I wish a miracle would happen and she would just quit her job...she is not happy nor safe being a detective."

"You're not the only one Hoping for a miracles...Lucius skipped work today as well, so I ended-up filling for him and I was alone at the auditions today, until Matilda came and volunteered to save me, she knew what's best to represent her book anyways.

She Also said Lucius was with Ned solving a personal issue...since Matilda took charge, I took the chance to come here."

"Still no luck in finding the perfect actresses for the main roles, should we ask Neddie for help?"

"We found what we need for the other roles, but when it came for the mains, no one has done well in the audition so far, but Matilda gave me a recommendation on one actress, she thinks she can play one of the main roles."

"Who is she?"

"Norma Kelly, she said she'd be perfect to play the night owl character."

Muriel's eyes lit-up "OH MY GOD! how did we not think of this one! Norma did amazingly in that detective movie! I cried so much at that one scene where she mourned her dead partner."

"I loved her role in 'Bullies high' more, She crushed it." Socorro replied.

"Coco, let us say that we got to Norma to do the role, we are still missing an actress for The Early Bird character. "

"I think I gotta an idea on that one! an idea we'll both like."
