Lucas stared in disbelief as the silver werewolf's body twitched, and its blood retracted into its wounds. This supernatural phenomenon left him in a state of puzzlement he couldn't fully comprehend.

Pulling his rebar from his inventory, Lucas muttered to himself in shock and confusion, "What is happening? I'm certain I split open its head."

His inward shout echoed, "System, what is happening? Is this some sort of regeneration ability?" In response, the system provided an answer.

[The silver werewolf possesses a unique bloodline that makes it impervious to normal weapons. It has an exceptionally strong regenerative ability.]

Lucas issued orders to his undead snakes, "Wrap around it again, slow it down."

Then he continued to voice his concerns to the system, "Even with its regenerative ability, there should be some delay in its recovery. It doesn't seem to be regenerating as expected."

[ A warning. The silver werewolf is currently utilizing its bloodline skill, Eclipse - The Crescent Moon. This skill induces a temporary mutation in the werewolf's body, enhancing its strength and regenerative capacity threefold throughout the entire night.]

Lucas, now well aware of the silver werewolf's terrifying abilities, sensed the urgency of the situation. He knew he had to act quickly before the creature completed its regeneration or mutation process.

As the venomous snakes coiled around the werewolf on the ground, Lucas observed its twitching body and mentally strategized, "This temporary enhancement in regenerative ability won't last forever. I either need to finish this quickly or stall."

However, just as he was formulating his plan, the silver werewolf suddenly stood with lightning speed, flinging away the undead snakes that coiled around him.

It roared toward the sky, the ground trembling beneath it. Lucas was watching in awe and dread as the werewolf's split head seamlessly stitched itself back together, leaving not a trace of the wound.

It grew in size, now towering at 21 feet, and bone spikes erupted from its spine.

Lucas, captivated by the nightmarish transformation, knew he had to strike while the creature was still in the midst of its mutation.

He shouted, "Lizardmen and everyone, attack together! Do anything you can!"

Following his command, the lizardmen and the hobgoblin charged at the enhanced silver werewolf, determined to bring it down.

But the werewolf, empowered by its bloodline skill Eclipse - The Crescent Moon, had reached a level of strength beyond its D- class designation.

With a single swing of its massive claw, it sent several approaching lizardmen flying, and in a devastating display of strength, it tore through one of the lizardmen with its razor-sharp claws.

[Undead lizardmen died]

[Undead snake died]

[Undead snake died]

[Undead snake...]

The silver werewolf's relentless attack began to take its toll on Lucas's undead minions. He knew he had to devise a new strategy quickly to overcome this formidable opponent.

The battle raged on, each moment intensifying the ferocity of the conflict. The silver werewolf, fueled by its remarkable regenerative ability and the bloodline skill Eclipse - The Crescent Moon, held its ground and even managed to overpower Lucas's remaining undead minions.

Despite their grotesque appearances, Lucas's surviving undead minions never backed down.

They continued their coordinated assault, attempting to exploit any vulnerabilities in the formidable beast.

The lizardmen, armed with swords, lunged at the werewolf, striking at its legs and belly. However, the regenerative ability allowed the werewolf to heal these wounds almost instantly, making their efforts seem futile.

Lucas, witnessing his minions' struggles, muttered to himself, "I have to attack it any way I can." Utilizing the shadow step ability of his robe, he darted across the battlefield with heightened speed, striking the frenzied werewolf in various places countless times.

While attacking, Lucas realized the wounds he inflicted were healing in the blink of an eye, leaving him baffled.

His thoughts raced in his mind, "What should I do? The rebar doesn't seem to be effective, and its wounds are healing in the blink of an eye."

Amid his pondering, he momentarily lost focus and failed to react to the impending threat. The werewolf seized the opportunity and lunged a claw toward him and threw him in the air.

In the nick of time in mid-air, Lucas muttered, "Soul shield," creating a second-skin-like barrier behind his back.

The impact sent him hurtling toward the cabin, colliding in the wall, and creating a big hole in it.

Lucas grunting in pain, pushes aside the wooden planks of the broken wall while saying "Ahhh, looks I might have broken one or two ribs due to the impact."

Ella, inside the cabin, rushed to his side, expressing deep concern. She held his hand and inquired, "Oppa, oppa, are you okay?"

Lucas, knowing the danger still loomed outside, squeezed her hand gently and replied, "You should go back and hide with the others in the basement now."

Ella, determined and unyielding, took out a sword from her inventory.

handing it to Lucas, and said with confidence, "Take this and don't ask questions. I made it after watching you fight the werewolf from the window. I made it in a hurry, so it might not be very strong, but it should work against him.".

Lucas, taking the sword from her with surprise, noticed that the system provided detailed information about it.

[Equipment Type: Weapon]

[Sword - Iron Tier]

[Name: The Silver Requiem]

[Description: A crude sword made of iron and coated in silver, crafted in a hurry by Ella Kimura]

Lucas, astonished by Ella's resourcefulness, asked in amazement, "Why is it coated in silver, and how did you make it?"

Ella, with a touch of frustration, explained, "Don't you watch any movies? In most stories, werewolves are practically immortal and can even regrow their heart if it's removed, most curses even don't work against them. The only way to kill them is by using something made of silver or coated in it."

Pointing toward the werewolf in the battle outside, she emphasized, "That's a werewolf out there. Let's focus on killing it first, and we can talk about how I made it afterward."

Lucas nodded in agreement, tossing his rebar aside, and unsheathed the sword, its silver sheen gleaming.

Turning to Ella, he expressed his gratitude, "Thanks for the sword. Go now and ensure everyone's safety. I'll take care of that creature first, and we will discuss this later."

Lucas emerged from the hole he had created in the cabin with the silver-coated sword in hand, a resolute expression on his face.

He adjusted his shoulders and neck, and said with a smile "Let's go for another round now, shall we."

As the sword gleamed with a silver sheen, Lucas gave a mental command to the system, allocating 8 of the attribute points to strength and the remaining to vitality. The system responded with several notifications:

[Allocating the points toward strength and vitality]

[Skill Minor Regeneration(G) leveled up -> Slow Regeneration (F)]

[Skill Pain Tolerance(G+) leveled up -> Pain Tolerance (F)]

Lucas focused on the improvement in his attributes, ignoring the other messages from the system.

With determination, he sprinted toward the silver werewolf using the shadow step, darting around its legs and evading its attempts to strike back.

Striking the creature's legs and stomach with the silver-covered sword countless times in fast motion, causing it immense pain.

The werewolf howled in agony as the wounds inflicted by the silver sword failed to heal and only caused more suffering, and growled looking at the Lucas "GRR".

Lucas realized the effectiveness of the silver weapon and knew he couldn't allow the battle to continue any longer. He assessed the situation, thinking, "I can't afford more losses."

He called out to his remaining undead minions, "Everyone, throw your weapons and just grab his arms and legs as hard as you can for a few seconds!"

Upon receiving his orders, the lizardmen, hobgoblin, and other undead monsters obeyed, releasing their weapons and seizing the werewolf's limbs and body.

Lucas, seizing the opportunity, raised his sword and attempted to sense the mana around him. His thoughts raced as he pondered, "If what the system said about a mana surge is true, then there should be mana in the air I can feel. Just focus."

As he delved into that moment of concentration, Lucas sensed a powerful energy permeating the environment, like an unseen force present in the very air itself.

Opening his eyes, he spoke with determination, "I need to channel this energy, infuse it into my slash."

He then advanced swiftly, feeling the surge in his strength as he propelled himself into the air.

At that moment the silver werewolf observed in astonishment as Lucas seemingly eclipsed the moon, his robe billowing gracefully in the night.

In that fleeting moment, Lucas whispered to himself, "Soul infusion, 100," channeling the newfound energy that surrounded him.

Executing a dual strike, a combination of both a horizontal and vertical slash, Lucas crafted a dynamic X-shaped pattern of mana interwoven with soul shards. He spoke aloud, "Silver Cross."

The ethereal cross-shaped attack struck the silver werewolf's chest, rending it open and provoking agonizing howls.

However, the creature's tenacity prevailed, displaying immense vitality despite its dire injuries.

Lucas descended gracefully from the heavens like a falling star, his trajectory leading directly to the werewolf's chest.

Without hesitation, he thrust his sword into the beast's exposed, pulsating heart, cleaving it in twain.

The silver werewolf's final cries were stifled as Lucas extinguished its life.

The system notification rang out.

[Killed Silver Werewolf (D-) in mutated form. Gained immense experience.]
