Chapter 7: Start of the games

Griphook and I were able to reach an agreement soon.

Gringots would do the testing of the potions in their secret apothecaries with their most trusted goblins, and see if the potions work, after all, everything I gave them was theoretical.

The goblins would also open new apothecaries in my name after the testing, which would take around a year, around London. The goblins were to also make sure that the recipes will not be lost or stolen so that the potions would be monopolized by me and the goblins.

The apothecaries will be taken care of by muggle-born wizards who had to leave the wizarding world, and they will sign iron clad magical contracts, which as long as they work hard and don't betray us they will get paid, and if not they lose their lives.

Griphook did suggest to make it so they would lose their magic and not their lives, but i didn't trust that, because I am sure that my mother or someone would bribe my workers with a large sum of money, or torture them for the recipes, and losing their magic is not as bad as losing your lives.

Some people might even willingly lose their magic, I mean, what's the point of magic if you are going to live a shitty life, might as well gets some cash.

Gringots would be investing 1 million galleons into this project.

I gave them two choices as well, I pay them 5 million back after a year if they want to, or they get 25% of my potions business. The goblins obviously weren't stupid enough to take the money. After all, at the age of 7 I was able to come up with so much then at the age of 15 or 20, I would change the world. And not only that, these potions values might be near the tens or hundreds of millions, not a mere 5 million.

All, this was done under my name, not the Markus family, so when my mom finds out I would love to see the reaction on her face.

I walked out with a smug grin on my face after about 1 hour of negotiating. My father tried to ask what happened but I completely ignored him, like I always do.

My father also bought me my own house elf, it would be under my families main elf, Robin, my house elf had the name of Tilly.

I went home with a small elf hugging my leg.

It has been another year and this year I was 8. My plans were also set in motion. Tilly has been apperating to and from Gringotts for documents I need to sign without my parents knowing about it.

I was able to reach Masters level for both Charms and Potions, after 6 months so I never saw those two teachers again.

Never really liked my potions teacher after the incident.

After that I told my parents I would like to read books in the library and study on my own. They didn't really reject it and thought that I would do some light reading after the intensives.

And also, I was showed on the daily Prophet, regarding the engagement last time and also about my heirship test. When the results first came out my mother didn't say anything and neither did I talk to her as well.

My sister tried talking to me but as always even though it was heartbreaking I just tried my best to ignore her.

I also started studying on Transfiguration, Herbology and Arthimency on my own till the O.W.Ls level.

I was also able to memorize History of Magic all the way till N.E.W.T level. Every page I flipped is was able to instantly memorized everything. I didn't bother going for Masters though.

I also gave my parents a few new potion recipes. They were obviously nothing, they were at the level of basics ones, but I did this to build a reputation using the family name before I branched out on my own.

Man, I love messing with my mother.

Also as precautions I made Gringots branch out to other parts of the world in my name for the opening, so when my mother and the minister try to pull some shit, and trust me they will, I will be ready for it.

Right now I was meditating in the middle of the forest, when a tree extended it's twigs and pocked me, making me break out of meditating.

I looked at the tree as it said, "Shawn, your sister is walking this way, and she is crying as well."

And on cue my sister walked straight towards me while sniffing, and when she saw the twig of the tree moving she got scared.

I just giggled and as I was about to talk to her, since mother wasn't near by, she walked away.

I could sense from her emotions that she thinks I didn't want to talk to her. Well she was partially correct, I didn't want to talk to her in my mother's presence.

I decided to talk to her so I stood up and walked towards her, the trees sensing my intention, blocked my sisters path making her extremely scared, she hasn't see moving trees before.

I walked up to her, and she started tearing up, even though she was trying to ignore me, she couldn't do it.

She started to break down right in front of me, crying about how I started to ignore, and that it's all her fault, even though it was actually mine.

I then told her about mother's true nature, how she would use her against me if she knew we were close, and that's why I started to ignore her, but she just thought I was making excuses.

I was close to telling her about the Malfoy engagement thing, but she was just a kid, and she didn't need to know anything too much, so I just promised to talk to her more, as long as she behaves, studies hard, and doesn't tell anyone about the trees.

Sigh, that was a pain, and I know that once my mother sees what is going on, and after my potions are released into the world, she will use my sister against me, so I need to make sure my plans work well.

And also, I was recently able to find a way to bypass a magically binding contract. If any sort of ritual is performed onto a person to change their bloodline, no matter how small, it will automatically nullify all existing contract as they are technically not the same person, so in the future, I just have to make sure that I modify my bloodline.

However this is also not easy to do, as a person who has signed a magical contract, will be bound to their souls, and when they go through a ritual, they would have two choices, one, stick with the contract or two, forcefully reject the contract. This can also only be done in theory and I going to probably be one of the only people in the world to escape a magical contract without a loophole.

Also, today was the day where my potions will be released, but not only to the U.K, it will be released to the world.
