While stitching his own wounds with silk thread, Ming Ge addressed the defeated Hogel lying on the ground. "Submit to me, or die!"

Hogel, even in his dire state, spat disdainfully at Ming Ge. "Bah! You want me to betray His Majesty Solomon? Dream on! If you want to kill me, then do it!"

"Call your men here!" Ming Ge threatened Solomon. "The king of the underworld? He's nothing more than a defeated dog!"

Solomon, clearly less bold than his men, remained silent for a moment before admitting, "My phone is under the sofa. It's the only way to contact my subordinates."

Just as Ming Ge reached for the phone, dark thunderclouds gathered over the island, and a sword made of spiritual energy hung ominously in the air.

For ten minutes, the island was illuminated by lightning and sword light, the thunder's roar shaking the very earth.

When the storm finally subsided, Ming Ge and his team were left battered and unconscious, while Solomon remained unharmed, the storm seemingly avoiding him.

Ming Ge, realizing this was a backhanded move from Solomon, observed Solomon's surprised expression and understood there were other players involved. Sensing danger, he quickly scanned his surroundings.

Suddenly, a soft sound made him spin around. His heart raced as he wrapped himself in Haki and twisted his body with all his might.

He found a man in black holding Pika and Diamanti by their necks, while Torrebol's heart had been ripped out.

"Hey, Doflamingo, long time no see!"

Arías greeted him with a sinister smile.

After killing Torrebol, Arías had intended to finish off Ming Ge, but Ming Ge's quick reflexes and weakened state made it impossible for Arías to secure a kill in one blow. The man's ability to fly made it even harder to succeed.

Arías decided instead to take Pika and Diamanti hostage.

"It's you!" Ming Ge's fury was palpable. He recognized Arías as a dangerous adversary with seastone abilities, a significant threat to him.

"… What do you want?" Ming Ge took a deep breath, understanding he had been outmaneuvered. Since Arías was not working for Solomon but had his own ambitions for the underground world throne, Ming Ge realized he and Solomon were mere pawns in Arías's scheme.

"If you want them to live, you'll have to give me a Devil Fruit. It's a fair trade," Arías said with a grin.
