Naruto x Avengers: I failed once, not again

The Library, home to the authors. The only true species in all of existence, never to hunger, never to thirst, never to tire, never to be injured.

An infinite number of beings who all have one purpose. To write worlds into existence. It all started with the first author, By:, he was the one who began the story, writing the biography of each author as they are created and brought to life.

Whether they be Stan Lee, Kishimoto, J.K. Rowling, or Eiichiro Oda. They were all created by By:. It's why authors always add a tribute to him on their books title, His name and then theirs. Now we aren't here read about these "Authors" however it's where our journey begins.

Somewhere in the library

"NO NO NO NO NO NOOOOO" an elderly man cries out as he collapses to the floor

"What's wrong, Old Lee" a middle aged Japanese man asks as he walks up to him. A questioning and concerned look on his face

The old man just stared at the large shelf in front of him books numbered 1-999,999,999 in front of him. Each book slowly flashing out of existence a single book lied in front of the man with the title TVA

"What's happening?" Another asked as he walked up. Slowly a crowd gathers watching as books shimmer out of existence

"I wrote a universe too powerful." The old man said with a pained voice. "The TVA were given too much multiversal power in my final book. This was going to be the end,1 billion books and I was finally going to retire into the proofreading and relaxation department." The man said "Now, the TVA are slowly erasing every universe that isn't ideal to them." The old man looks up. "An infinite amount of people are dying every second, there's no way to stop them."

"How can they affect the library, this shouldn't be possible." Someone says

"I gave them the power to dictate the fate of multiverses." Old Lee said. "At least it's isolated in my own section so it won't spread to anyone else's collection."

"If you can't stop them Old Lee, then why not just hide a universe from their view? Save some of your work at the very least." A man says.

"I can't, only a second gen could save them." Old Lee says while looking down the endless aisle to a far off section with two letters above it… FF.

A shudder runs through the authors "Really? the only one who can save a universe is among the creativeless, one of the curssssed." A man hissed.

"Oh come on we're just writing fan fictions." I say. Hundreds of eyes lock onto me, a new voice which they've never seen before. "Yeah the old man just wrote me in and told me there was a problem here and to fox it." I said as the authors looked down another aisle towards a man sitting at a lone desk, slowly writing away as soon a being materializes besides him and walks off to write their own story.

"Well if you're supposed to write fan fictions then start writing, before it's too late." Another man said loudly. The crown split to allow me to walk up to Old Lee. "I'll save one of them at the very least, old man."

"Thanks young one, be sure to show it to me when you're finished."

"I will."

"Hey kid" a man says

I turn and look over to see a Japanese man with a half finished book in his hand stretched out towards me.

"Take this kid, use it to save one of Old Lee's" he says handing me the book.

I feel the shimmering power in the words as I look down to see the title to find it doesn't have one yet, just a blond hair, blue eyed young man.

"Thanks" I said before reaching forward and grabbing one of the few remaining books in front of me.

"Oh shit it's 2843." someone says.

Everyone looks in horror recognizing this as the world where Tony Stark fails to defeat the terrorists in the caving system, dying which then leads to New York's destruction during the Chitauri invasion and loss of half the life in the universe permanently as there was no way to time travel safely back to the past.

"Well, what's the worst that can happen?" I jokingly say before slamming the two together. A glowing silver book appears in my hand with a simple title. "I failed once, not again" I read aloud. "A good title"

"Indeed it is." Old Lee said while standing next to me.

"We'll let's start" I say while picking up the book

"Hidden from the view of the TVA a young man..." I began to write.

"…..so don't mock me." a pink haired girl screams as she aims a punch at the top of her opponents head. A silver haired man looks towards his students as they are about to seal the Rabbit Goddess Kaguya. Only for everything to go wrong.

The white haired goddess reaches up and grabs the girls hand before yanking her down forcing her to take her place as the planetary devastation seal activates on Sakura, the symbols of sun and moon leaving Naruto and Sasuke's hands returning to 'Super gramps' as he prepares to summon them back thinking the job is finished.

"NOOOOOOO" Naruto shouts as he and Sasuke drop to the ground. Kaguya watches with a frown as she remembers when she was sealed into the moon as they watch Sakura get crushed under the rocks which are forming into a ball mid-air.

Black Zetsu, who is pinned to the ground, starts laughing. "That's what you get for trying to seal Mother."

Naruto, Sasuke, and Kakashi stare in disbelief before vanishing in a puff of smoke.

"Poof" "Poof" "Poof"

The six paths sage looks at the two young men who have defeated his mother. About to say his congratulations until he realized a certain lack of 9 taily giants.

Naruto collapses onto his knees, tears dripping down his face. "We failed." he croaks out.

Sasuke raises his hands up to rub his face realizing how fucked they were. Just before his eyes were closed he watched as a black square appeared in front of him as an ashen bone flew through his chest. Quickly acting he rips out both of his eyes tossing them in Naruto's direction as he activates his Chidori with the remainder of his chakra determined to get one final blow on the emerging woman before he turns to dust.

Minato realizing the dire situation decided to ShunShin next to Naruto before activating his Flying Raijin taking the both of them far away.

Hagoromo watches as the two disappear before sighing. "I never should have stood back and waited" the old man said quietly as he watched his mother turn to him before slapping Sasuke away moments before he hit her as he collapsed on the ground exploding into a pile of dust.

"Hagoromo" A brief bit of love passes through her eyes before they turn into hate. Hating her son who betrayed her love and sealed her away for a millennia.

"Hello mother" The old man says before trying to drag out this conversation as long as possible to give Naruto time to recuperate.

~Will begin speaking in First person for Naruto now~

Naruto still kneeling on the ground as the two appear in an old wrecked city breaks down even more. I look at the two bloody eyes in my hands tears rolling down my eyes before a foot appears in my vision as I flies back into a wall.

"What was that for" I said

"Get it together Naruto." My father says while staring into my eyes. "Follow me quickly, we don't have much time." He said before running through the city.

I picked myself up and ran after him before we arrived at a building with a swirling circle on its front.

"Quickly Naruto, go inside." My father says in an urgent voice.

I walk inside the compound as an elastic barrier bends around my body letting me through. Seconds later Minato is beside me having used Raijin to appear at my side.

"The barrier only lets Uzumaki's through however Kushina altered the seal to allow me to use Flying Raijin as long as she was inside. Since you have her blood I could slip through the barrier." He said before walking through the building

After a minute he arrived before a storage cabinet in a dark room before looking at me signaling to open it

I open it to find stacks of seals and scrolls before looking around and noticing dozens of similar cabinets.

"Kushina realized that some of the elders had bad intentions towards her when she was pregnant. If they had tried to put you in CRA when you got older she was gonna leave the village to come here. This is her war vault full of disposable seals and different scrolls on hundreds of techniques, even some of Hashirama's which she inherited from Mito. She spent nearly her entire pregnancy working on these seals to quell her boredom."

"What am I supposed to do, slap Kaguya with all of these?" I let out a pitiful chuckle as I looked at the seals. Raising my hand I look at the two eyes before I hear a voice.

"Naruto, as much as I hate those eyes you will need them" Kurama spoke

"He's right, kid." Matatabi agreed.

I sighed as I knew what I had to do. My father looking on as if allowing me to do this before continuing. I reach up to my face before freezing "Hey Kurama, can't you do it for me"

"Hmph" I hear a loud snort before a hand grows out of each side of me, grabbing the eyes and shoving them into my skull

"Owww, weren't you supposed to remove my original eyes first." I complain as a burning sensation appears.

"The Uchiha merge their original eyes with the eyes of a relative to obtain the Eternal Mangekyo. So why shouldn't merging them with your eyes work as you are technically Sasuke's brother through Chakra." The beast says as if it's common knowledge.

The burning slowly disappears as I regain my vision, tailed beast chakra speeding up the process from days to a matter of minutes. Slowly I open my eyes looking at a nearby wall where a mirror is conventionally hanging. I look as I see two golden ringed eyes with the Slit and Hyphen from Kurama and Sage Mode resting in the center.

"Now that you're done, come here Naruto" My father says as he motions towards a small stack of seals. "Slap on of those on your arm Naruto, it should last a year and you got 10 of them." He said as I placed the seal on my forearm

I felt my chakra disappear, not from my body but my senses. Looking over at my father I see him smile.

"Those were Kushina's best works. They completely hide a person's chakra, as well as their physical Body from even the Byakugan. With this you should be able to learn these seals in peace without Kaguya finding you." He said before a soft blue glow enveloped him. "Looks like the sage can't stall any longer."

"Dad"

"Shhh, remember Naruto, your mother and I will always love you. Learn these seals and find a way to seal Kaguya, get stronger. You have ten years my son so use it to your fullest. Make sure you don't waste your friends' sacrifices on moping around. You are the last hope of humanity." He said as his spirit finally disappeared.

Kakashi stood there and watched as mother and son argued before eventually forcing Hagoromo to leave. Though not before releasing the Edo Tensei as he knew it was pointless for them to try and fight Kaguya.

She looked towards him as he froze in terror before a soft snort was heard as she ignored him and floated away, Kakashi released a sigh of relief knowing that he just wasn't worth her time so he quickly scurried off the battlefield to try and find Naruto
