1 Elephant-kun

In a dark place, where there is no concept of anything, wanders a small bright purple-colored orb.

"Huh? Where am I?" The orb starts speaking groggily as if it had just woken up after the most comfortable sleep it has ever taken.

"You, my child, are dead" A deep disembodied voice resonated throughout the entirety of the void, shaking the orb to Its very core.

The orb started to freak out over both the voice and what it proclaimed he was at the moment. Then as if like it didn't care anymore stopped itself and floated there calmly.

"You seem to be taking this extremely well for someone who has died and is now floating in the dark expanses of the void." The somewhat soothing voice remarked sounding a little amused, as if it had found some kind of entertainment for the first time in a little bit.

"Well, I can't really do anything about that now. Also, I guess I should've expected this outcome after I saw that elephant charging towards all of us in that car. Now I can't even get a refund from that African safari."

"Ha ha ha ha. You are quite the interesting one to be able to use humor in a situation such as the one you're in right now. Tell me, how would you like another chance at life, young one?"

This got the orb to perk its nonexistent head up and give its utmost attention to the voice that seemed to be invading his mind at this point.

"You can take me back to the time before the elephant came charging towards the car?"

"Oh no no no, I can't do that. What I can do is rebirth you in a whole new world, would you like that?"

"Hmmm, do I get to choose which world you put me into next?" The orb at this point in time seemed a little skeptical of what this voice was saying.

"Yes, I can let you pick for yourself but, I will have to narrow your choices down for you."

"Ok yeah that sounds good to me." The orb said seemingly satisfied with the arrangement.

"Alrighty then, if you will, pick which universe you want to go to out of this book here"

The orb stared in shock, it's jaw hitting the floor. This book's table of contents says that there were around 125 million universes he could choose from.

"I need to narrow these options down." The orb thought to itself.

"Otherwise, I'll be here for eternity just trying to find a suitable one to go to. First I'll get rid of all of the cultivation universes because I can't be bothered by young masters courting death." With those options gone, I'm down to a whopping 58 million universes to choose from.

"Alright let's see, next, I'll knock off all the universes that I know less than 50% about. Going into a new life without any kind of knowledge is just a big red flag and I don't want to take that risk, to be completely honest." This brings the number down to 37 million.

"I'm also going to knock off the ones that have aliens threatening to destroy the earth and everything you hold dear. So I guess that'll say goodbye to certain universes and timelines of DBZ, Marvel, DC, and Naruto." With those options gone, the number is reduced to 16 million.

"Get rid of every universe that doesn't have humans on them. I give my apologies to all other sentient alien species out there but I am not trying to live my life as half lizard." Now that they are gone we are still left with a huge amount of universes at 4 million.

"Let's get rid of the boring and mundane universes that are like my last life." Getting rid of those brings the number down to 762,000 which looks much more manageable than the 125 million there were before.

"Now that I'm down to a smaller number, we should get to the more specific requirements."

"I need a universe where there are either natural or unnatural ways to increase your life span significantly." Wow, that takes me down to 120,000 universes.

"Let's find a universe that has fantasy powers in it. Something where I can shoot fireballs out of my fingers and lightning out of my eyeballs."

"27,000 left, ok, this is going well."

"Maybe I add some kind of similarity filter at 40 percent with certain animes like Black Clover, Naruto, Mushoku Tensei, and Tensura." That takes me down to 4,000.

"What if I up it to like 60 percent?" Holy cow, that takes me all the way down to 800 universes.

"I think I'm going to go through and choose between these 800 universes."

Reading through all of them took a little bit of time.

That was probably a good thing though considering that it gave me a while to think about my choices and not just act impulsively.

However, seeing that there were a few versions of Naruto at the top and also Black Clover intrigued me a little. With that, I decided to sort by those 2 and that is where I found my new universe.

At the end of the day, I decided to choose a Naruto universe. What intrigued me, was the fact that it snuck past my alien's filter which means there shouldn't be an Otsutsuki clan present at any point in time. At least not the Otsutsuki clan that they showed in the anime.

With that, I decided to choose that universe and proceeded to ask this voice if I would be getting anything to help me along the way or not.

"Yes, I shall give you a couple of cheats to help you along your journey. After all, I have to make this entertaining for myself so I won't be too bored waiting for you to come back."

"How do I get these cheats? Do you pick them, do I pick them, do I spin a wheel, how do we decide it?"

"Of course, you're going to spin a wheel for it. It's just like in those isekai and fanfictions that you read in your old world."
