Sasuke was angry and demotivated because of what happened in the Chunin Exams. He would have never anticipated that Naruto will defeat him.
Later he finds out that the technique which Naruto used against him was Rasengan which was a technique created by Minato Namikaze himself. Currently, only 2 people could perform the technique.
Jiraiya and Kakashi, Of course, Sasuke thought that it was Kakashi who taught Naruto how to do this technique but was not sure when Kakashi taught him.
Kakashi on the other hand was thinking that Jiraiya Sama has teach this technique to Naruto.
But only Jairaiya and Hiruzen knew that the real person who taught this technique to Naruto was none other than Jin.
Sasuke at this point wanted to learn the Rasengan technique because he already was thinking that Rasengan is a better technique than Chidori.
The reason is that Naruto was able to overpower him. But the reality was that Naruto had a lot of chakras than he do and at that time he lose because he suddenly suffer from the backslash from the cursed mark.
When Sasuke ended up finding Kakashi, he found that Kakashi has been hospitalized.
He was in the hospital, recovering from the injuries he suffer in his fight against Naruto for a few days and when he got discharged, he could not find Kakashi because his sensei was doing other missions for the village.
Now after so many days he finally had the chance to meet Kakashi and learn Rasengan but he find his sensei in the Hospital.
Sasuke later realizes that Kakashi was defeated by Itachi and he is currently looking for Naruto.
Sasuke after hearing this got so angry and he ran away before his sensei could stop him to find Naruto.
Kakashi knew that this will create trouble and asked Guy to follow Sasuke and help him out.
Sasuke on the other hand started to run as fast as he can to follow Itachi or Naruto's trail and find them.
Finally, after knowing where they were, he came across the only person he hated the most, ITACHI UCHIHA.
"Itachi, you will die by my hands today" shouted Sasuke and started forming Chidori.
Soon the bird chirping sound came. Jin and Naruto both knew who this person was.
Because of Sasuke's arrival, Itachi's and Kisame's attention was shifted, Jin although could have fought with both of them but was not sure whether he could save guard Naruto while doing it.
Soon Sasuke charged towards Itachi with his Chidori in his hands.
And just like in the canon, Itachi like a badass grabs Sasuke's hand and tells him who is the boss.
"what the fuck, why Kishimoto made this guy so terrifying." thought Jin before taking action.
"Recoilless kick" shouted Jin and targeted Kisame who was the closes to him.
Kisame already saw the attack coming and took out Samehada to block the attack.
What he did not know was that the attack was so powerful it even bends space if used at its full power.
Kisame was rocketed out from the building by the force of that attack. Jin did not hold back at all and used his best kick to take care of Kisame.
This gave him some time to handle the situation with Itachi and let Jiraiya come over.
Naruto on the other hand was looking at the scene and already had a Rasengan ready in his hand to attack Itachi.
"Rasengan" shouted Naruto and targeted Itachi with his Rasengan but we are talking about Itachi freaking Uchiha here.
Itachi simply twisted himself after throwing Sasuke's limb body out of the harm, and dodge the attack.
Naruto Rasengan directly hit the building wall and a big hole was created.
Itachi at this point was not thinking about Naruto or Sasuke but rather Jin.
He already has heard of a person who fights off, One Tail Shuaku. And now, Jin directly kicks Kisame of all people, out of the building.
He with his Sharingan looked toward Jin and attack with his Genjutsu technique, Jin easily fall into the genjutsu because he have never learned how to fight a powerful genjutsu like Itachi's.
But this was a bad move by Itachi as the moment Jin entered into a Genjutsu, his body started to move on Instincts.
Before Itachi could understand what happened, there was a powerful punch landed in his guts that send him rocketing towards the wall.
Sasuke at this point was pretty much unconscious while Naruto was in a daze after his attack not working and Itachi was suddenly punched by Jin.
This was the exact time when Jiraiya came. Of course, he did all of his weird poses and acting while announcing his arrival.
Kisame by this point had already arrived and Itachi too surprisingly recover from the punch quickly enough.
What Jin was wondering at this point was, how the hell Itachi recover so fast.
While Itachi was wondering how Jin move under his Genjutsu and attacked him.
"Kisame, we are not his match, we need to go, now" Itachi said this time looking towards Jiraiya.
"Damn, Jiraiya is pretty cool" Jin was thinking.
He already knows that both Kisame and Itachi were afraid of Jiraiya but knowing and witnessing are pretty different things.
In the end, both Akatsuki members ran away while Sasuke was injured.
And the journey to find Tsunade continued.
