The meeting with the elders happened a few weeks ago and right now Jin was travelling with Jiraiya and Naruto to find Tsunade.
It was Hiruzen who wanted Jin to go with Jiraiya and Naruto to find Tsunade.
In the meeting with the elder, Jin's demand was accepted as Hiruzen himself understood how dangerous techniques like 8 inner gates are.
This was not even Danzo and other elders could argue about.
They unwillingly have to accept. And this alone decreases their chances to get Jin's techniques from 90% to almost 0%.
There is hardly anyone in the Konoha who can beat Jin after he learns Ultra Instincts.
Maybe the only person who might give him a hard fight will be Might Guy after opening the 8th gate of the pain.
But even in that case, he might be able to just evade him for some time until Guy dies.
Thus, he hardly cares what the elders think about him. They are not getting his techniques.
At the end of the meeting, Danzo did demand Jin to be given to him in his root but Hiruzen and Jin both denied it. Needless to say that it did not work.
"How did you learn how to use Rasengan brat" ask Jiraiya.
This was another trouble for Jin entirely. Naruto ended up showcasing his Rasengan in the Chunin exams and now Jin was the one who was getting the backslash.
"I learn it on my own and also ended up teaching Naruto. How many times do I have to tell you this" Said Jin as he already has repeated this many many times?
Naruto this time around was not learning the Rasengan as he already have mastered the technique.
Jin on the other hand was the one who was learning on his way.
He just had opened the second stage of Ultra Instincts and he now wanted to master this technique and power ASAP.
To do that he was trying to enter into the Ultra Instincts state whenever he gets the time and remain in the form for as long as possible.
He already has learned that, unlike Passive instincts, Ultra Instincts Sign is much more demanding and right now the can only handle it for less than 5 minutes.
He is pretty sure that he will be able to get more than 30 minutes and even more when he masters the technique but right now, it's not practical to use this technique until the situation is dire.
"So, where we are going again," Jin asks just to keep the conversation going.
"We are finding one of the Sannin. She was my teammate and is also the granddaughter of the First Hokage.
We are looking for Tsunade Senju" said Jiraiya.
Jin already knew that and he was only asking for the name sake.
Naruto was looking forwards to meeting this tannin and was very excited.
But the journey was not as smooth as in the canon. Soon Itachi and Kisame attack the village and pretty much everything went there just like in the canon and then both Itachi and Kisame ended up coming for Naruto.
Honestly, Jin believed that Itachi never was targeting the nine-tail jinchuriki in the first place when he visited Konoha.
According to him, he might only want to learn more about Sasuke's safety after the invasion.
Soon Itachi and Kisame came to the same town where Jiraiya, Naruto and Jin were staying.
Both did end up distracting Jiraiya and targeting Naruto.
The only thing which was different this time around was that Jin was with Naruto.
"Knock Knock" Itachi and Kisame were standing outside the gate and Jin already knew that.
"Naruto, let me open the door," said Jin and went to open the door.
He already had a way to handle Itachi's Genjutsu powers as the moment he used his Genjutsu on him, the Ultra Instincts will activate and start targeting Itachi, even if it is a tsukoyomi.
Jin slowly opens the door and asks "Who are you and what do you want from me".
Itachi did not show any outward reaction while Kisame was practically griming like he got a new toy to play with.
Naruto was looking at what was going on from inside the house.
"I would like you to hand me over to Naruto Uzumaki," Itachi said in his always calm voice and neutral look.
Kisame on the other hand was not so gentle and directly send killing intent towards Jin.
Now if Jin was like someone else like Naruto or Sasuke then this might have worked but Jin was someone who already have very good control over his instincts, thus he did not even flinch.
"Interesting, Mr Itachi this brat can handle my killing intent. Would you mind if I had a little one-to-one talk with him," ask Kisame, the killing intent was practically dropping from him.
"We are not here for that Kisame, focus on the task. We are only here for the Jinchuriki of the nine tail," said Itachi.
"I guess you both are in the wrong place entirely." Jin intervene.
Before either Itachi or Kisame could answer, Naruto shouted from the inside.
"Hey Jin, who are they and what are they talking about".
"This bought a sweat drop to Jin's face. This could be the worst time to open your mouth Naruto" thought Jin.
At this point, a fight was inevitable with the Akatsuki.
While Jin was thinking this he heard another troublesome voice. It was Sasuke roaring Itachi's name.
"Great, one was not enough and the universe send me another." mutter Jin.
