9 Chapter 9: Medical Ninjutsu

After a trip to the Shimura and Sarutobi Clan Compunds, followed by a large amount of apologies, the Senju family went home happy, with Tsunade especially happy after seeing Danzo forced to kneel by his father and apologize to her.

After returning home, Mito finished cooking and placed everyone's food on the table.

The family then went to eat as they started conversing over dinner about things they found interesting to them.

Everything seemed good until Tsunade looked down at the thought of a question that has plagued her mind for nearly 3 years.

'I wonder how long this type of thing will last. Will it end after Grandpa's death? WAIT! But what if I learned medical ninjutsu earlier than my counterpart. She only started after Nawaki's death, but what if I learn mine from a young age? I might not be able to cure grandpa, but I sure as hell can make him live longer. I've already created a form of chakra enhanced strength, so I should already have enough chakra control to master it in a short time, all I would need is the knowledge. This can also help me so that I can prolong the start of the 1st Great Shinobi World War, which can allow me to grow stronger and think of ways to help my 2nd grandfather survive.'

Tsunade then looked up with fire in her as she asked Tobirama "Grandpa, can you teach me Medical Ninjutsu?"

Everyone at the table seemed stunned, with Hashirama the first to gain his bearings as he asked "Tsuna, why do you want to learn Medical Ninjutsu? Are you sure you don't wanna try to learn other ninjutsu first."

Mito glared at him when he brought up other ninjutsu but he simply turned his head to act like he didn't see her, before turning back to see Tsunade's answer.

"To heal Grandpa." she said stunning everyone even further as no one had told Tsunade about his declining health.

"What are you talking about Tsuna, I'm as healthy as a Tailed Beast." Hashirama bosted while showing his muscles.

"No you're not grandpa, I can feel it, I can feel your vitality and chakra decreasing everyday." Tsuna spoke while looking him in the eye before a gasp could be heard from Mito.

"When you told me she awakened the chains, I was shocked, but for her to awaken a good sensory ability like that, it makes me even more surprised. How long could you see someone else's chakra for Tsuna?" Mito asked as she couldn't believe her granddaughter awakened 2 techniques that even pureblood Uzumaki rarely do.

"I have been able to see it since I first unlocked the chain. But will you teach me Medical Ninjutsu. I have Yin and Yang release and good chakra control. I promise I won't let you down." Tsunade spoke while pleading to Tobirama.

Meanwhile Tobirama was simply thinking to himself if he should teach it to her.

'Elder brother said she had phenomenal talent in chakra control and she does have Yin and Yang release. From my estimates, my elder brother has at most 3 years left to live and that is when I am being generous . If she can heal him it would most likely prolong the war that might break out, giving the younger generation more time to grow. And if she becomes good enough I would have an excuse to keep her off the battlefield. YES!! She definitely has to learn medical ninjutsu. I'll teach my Water style too, just in case.'

Tobirama made up his mind as he told her "Yes Tsuna, you can learn medical ninjutsu, I'll teach it to you myself. We start tomorrow so be prepared."

Tsunade was extremely happy to know she has a chance to heal her grandpa, however she would never know that the reason why is because of her doting 2nd grandfather.
