Chapter 20 : Valuable lesson

"Let's go back Shikamaru, Choji, Kai"

"The birthday party almost started, I'm already telling Shikaku about your story. It's up to him what he's gonna do about it. We best just left everything about it to him."

Yoshino talks to the three of them while urging them back to the middle where the crowd was.

After waiting a few more minutes, the head of the Hyuga clan finally arrived with his wife and Hinata who's hiding behind her mother peeking around the guests who're coming.

Starting his speech, Hiashi first thanked the guests for being able to present on Hinata's 3rd birthday and started talking about a bunch of other stuff.

After that birthday party started and everything was normal for Kai he even talked little with Hinata, until the events were over and he was separated from Shikamaru to go home, still nothing was happening.

His aunt walked him back to his home, along the road Kai was confused that nothing was happening during the birthday party.

Does uncle shikaku really not come in or uncle shikaku does come but not find anything and he was the one who just overthinking about subtle movement of the mouth and hand that he noticed during Choji and Shikamaru doing act as an 4th raikage and 4th hokage.

He really don't know how to proceed it, does head ninja of kumogakure trying to infiltrate Hyuga compound in middle of the night like in story tell, not like what he thought for head ninja of kumogakure to infiltrate during birthday party to avoid Byakugan surveillance.

Or Hinata was never gonna be kidnapped In the first place like in the story.

Arriving at his home, he was separated from Auntie Chomi and Choji after saying his goodbye.

Kai entered his house.

After talking about what interesting about the birthday party and continued with learning kanji from his mother for a while.

Kai goes to his room where he lays flat in his bed with a brain full of thoughts about what was currently happening, no that was not the right word.

The right word to ask is why there is nothing happening during the birthday party.

"You don't need to think hard about it Kai"

Out of nowhere he heard someone was talking to him in his room, Kai suddenly stood up from his bed and looked around his room.

From a shadow in one of the corners of his room Kai saw uncle shikaku emerge.

"Uncle shikaku, I'm sorry"

Kai was quite guilty about it that he might have made a false alarm to his uncle from knowledge that he learned during previous life, but Kai did not regret for trying to save Neji's father.

"You don't have to worry about it Kai, we already caught the intruder but I warn you not to tell anyone about this, I don't know where you know this information or you telling the truth or not but I already cover it for you so that no one knows you are the one giving the information."

Thinking about what uncle shikaku warned him, Kai remembers that in konoha there is so much darkness in it that might end up harming him and his entire family.

There are people like Danzo who can literally sacrifice anything to get what he wants, and there are still orochimaru in konoha mad scientists who don't have moral values.

"Thank you uncle shikaku for your help"

Kai bow his head to his uncle, if not for the help he might be in deep trouble that might involve his entire family in it.

"It's alright Kai, I know you are good kid"

After a while he raised his head, his uncle was already gone and the room went back to a silent state.

Laying down on his bed, Kai is thinking deeply about the lesson that he learned today.

He was still too reckless even though he did not currently have the power to back up his reckles behavior.

He always still thinks that everything is gonna be what he wanted because he always thought that he knows everything about it, but the fact was he was currently not having the ability to execute it properly.

Feeling that today was he learned a lot really valuable lesson, Kai promise to be more careful in the future.

After thinking so many stuff and the amount of things that happening in a day Kai feel really tired and decided just go to sleep.
