'Satoru Gojo'

Chapter-3

"Huff~ so we'll camp here for an hour and continue our journey." Kakashi said as they camped on a spot a hundred metres away from a river.

"I'll set the tents with Tenzo. Tanaka goes to check the surroundings and Inoichi-san raises an illusionary barrier around us."

"Got it"

"Roger that."

"I'm done. There's no human settlement 10 miles around here." Tanaka came back after checking around and sat on the tree log beside Kakashi who was cooking fish. 

"Have one." Kakashi handed Tanaka a fish.

"Thanks."

"Your food is as good as ever Kakashi-Kun." Inoichi complimented Kakashi's food.

"It's not that great." Kakashi tried to remain humble.

"He was being nice, Kakashi." Tanaka chimed from the side as he ate his portion.

Kakashi looked at Tanaka in annoyance and said, "I wanted to ask, when did you start using a bow?"

"About 2 months ago." Tanaka answered as he swallowed the fish, "I wanted some long ranged weapon and this suited me the best."

"How good are you at it?"

"I shot a rabbit's head 900m away from the top of a tree." 

"Impressive." Inoichi complimented.

"While being upside down." 

*Smack* "Be humble, brat." Kakashi swatted his head.

"So what's the plan Kakashi-san?" Tenzo asked.

"If we continue with our same speed we'll reach the entrance to Sound village in an hour, from there we'll disguise ourselves as traffickers and Tanaka will be the product we are trafficking. Since he has a high amount of chakra he'll definitely be taken in as a test subject for their lab. That way we'll have someone inside and the remaining of us will stay out and look for people to impersonate. That's the first step."

"It's fine with me." Tanaka agreed and seeing that he didn't have a problem, the rest also agreed to it.

"The second step will be information exchange, all should search for a map of the place and Inoichi-san will relay our information amongst ourselves. If he is compromised, Tanaka's spider summons will exchange info." 

"But that later is a lot more time consuming than the former." Tanaka added.

"Yeah, Inoichi-san is an integral part for the efficiency of this plan." Kakashi said.

"The third stage of the plan is to wait. We'll just stay low for a while to get a basic understanding of how things work here. After that is the final stage, we'll search for Sasuke Uchiha and Orochimaru's location."

"The fifth stage is dependent on the fourth so we'll discuss it later. If you are caught, just run and don't think about the others and send at least a single message once a week so that we'll know you're still there."

The rest nodded.

"Stay alert team." Kakashi said as he transformed his appearance into a middle aged guy.

Following him the rest did the same too, while Tanaka changed his appearance to someone popular in his previous world. None other than the one and only honoured one, Satoru Gojo.

"Who's that supposed to be?" Kakashi asked Tanaka who smirked at him.

"Our key inside. Now hear me out…"

"Ouch! Handle me with care you brutes!" 

"Shut up brat! This is not a trip. You'll be experimented on here."

"Ohhh~ kinky I like it!"

'Who let him cast genjutsu on himself?' Kakashi complained in his mind as he carried Tanaka who named himself Satoru for this mission inside a sack.

"How much for this brat?" He asked the guys who were handling this subject.

The guy looked at the sack and at the disguised Kakashi and looked back at another guy who seemed to be the supervisor there. Seeing the supervisor nod, the man looked back at Kakashi.

"The brat's worth 300,000 Ryo."

"That's it? Man can you cut me some slack? I had to flee my village with my friends here after kidnapping this brat. He was the only son of our chief. Our chief has some weird power so he may have it too." Kakashi said as he pointed at Tenzo.

Tenzo opened the sack and inside was a charming young boy with white hair and sharp facial features and shining blue eyes.

"Hello there~" It was none other than Tanaka who put himself into a genjutsu to act good. "I'm Satoru Gojo, nice to meet you."

'Is he not right in the head?' The supervisor thought as he walked towards them.

"I'll take care of them when you go." He ordered his underwear and looked at Tanaka and asked, "What can you do."

But it was already too late for him as Tanaka put him under his genjutsu and made him say, "Give them 400,000 Ryo and let them all inside the village and take the kid to lab 2-A in the southern prison."

"Cya brutes!" Tanaka bid farewell to his teammates as they nodded to him. They were escorted into the city while he was put inside another sack and being carried.

*Thud* 

Tanaka looked at the guy whom he just knocked out and slapped his own chin to ward off his genjutsu.

"I should look around this place and search for a map." Saying that Tanaka bit his finger and spilled his blood on the floor.

'Summoning Jutsu: Swarm of Spiders'

*Woosh*

In a puff of smoke nearly 20 small black spiders the size of an ant were summoned by Tanaka.

"Go search for people with high chakra volume in this building and inject them with paralysis." Tanaka ordered them and they all agreed and went their own way.

He was never planning on following Kakashi's plan from the beginning because he has a Mangekyou, which can cast genjutsu powerful enough to control a tailed-beast. So it's pretty quick work for him to control everyone in the building with a simple but strong genjutsu.

His main aim here is to look for interesting abilities like Jugo's or Karin's, so he will search this whole prison and the others in the village to get them.

'I wonder where Sasuke will be?' This is what Tanaka was curious about as he was pretty sure this mission didn't happen in the canon timeline. 

'I wanna see if my awakening Mangekyou made his Sharingan evolve too… Since I was in pain during the awakening I didn't notice if my chakra connected with his.'

Tanaka crawled on top of the ceiling as he searched for the prison, on his way there he put most people he saw on Genjutsu for precaution as he finally reached what seemed like an underground prison.

'Could this be the place?' 

He entered the place and was immediately engulfed by the nasty stench of the place. The whole place was dark without a single source of light but it didn't bother him much as his normal senses were already beyond human thanks to his ability, so he could easily see the disgusting place.

He saw people who were fully an abomination with eyes all over their face and people with many limbs. They seem to be sedated so he just kept going ahead while keeping a mental note to report it to Inoichi.

'Orochimaru sure is disgusting.' 

Orochimaru didn't discriminate against anyone. That was obvious as men and women of various ages from a kid to an adult were experimented on. He would have been defended by the Twitter warriors very much.

"If you plan on escaping please help me too" Tanaka stopped walking on the ceiling when he heard the voice calling him.

He looked at the cell from where the voice came from and dropped before it.

His landing made no noise as he looked inside the cell. There was only one guy who seemed to be of his age sitting with both his hands and legs locked.

"Please help me." The guy seemed desperate as he seemed to have not eaten for days. His skeletal structure was visible through his skin.

"Fine~ I'll help you, but what do I get in return?" 

The guy looked really helpless at Tanaka's question but before he could sink in that hopelessness Tanaka laughed.

"Hahaha you should have seen your face! Don't worry, I'll help you." Tanaka said as he easily bent the iron rods of the cell and entered inside.

He broke the chains which restricted the guy and had a good look at him. The boy seemed to be of his height and too skinny. But the weird thing was he had no chakra in him. Not even as much as a baby.

'This could mean just things, either that his chakra is sealed by someone…. Or he is one of the 'pure' humans whose blood is not mixed with those white aliens.'

Though Tanaka kept his 'Gojo' behaviour on the outside, he already started thinking of the possible reasons the boy had no chakra.

"What's your name?" He asked the boy.

'Don't be Toji.'

"It's Tatsuya. Tatsuya Hamada." The boy replied as he stretched his arms. Though he seemed like a starving beggar, he was surprisingly energetic.

"Well Tatsuya, do you want water?" He offered his water pouch to Tatsuya.

"Thanks." 

"Don't worry about it~"

Inside an old house with dust everywhere, Kakashi, Tenzo and Inoichi could be seen in their disguise sitting around a table. Kakashi and Inoichi had their eyes closed.

-Can you hear us Tanaka?- Kakashi asked through the mind link Inoichi created.

-Yeah I can. I already made a basic layout of the facility/prison I'm in. This place is just where they keep their test subjects and conduct jutsu experiments. Not much 'juicy' things are there here.- Tanaka reported/

-Did you find any map?- Kakashi asked.

-No. But I found the name of the facility I'm in. It's called Northern Hideout. It's in between a narrow valley. Where are you guys?- Tanaka informed his location and asked.

- We are yet to start our investigation. We gave the basic info about 'Satoru Gojo' to the supervisor here. In our stay here, your Kekkei Genkai will be extraordinary perception.-

-Got it. I've sent my spiders to each one of you so don't kill it. They can't talk but they can write with their web.-

-Got it. Be safe, we'll contact you after 2 days so lay low till then.-

- Trust me. I got it.- Inoichi cut the connection

"That kid… I hope he's ok." 

"You should trust Tanaka-kun Kakashi. He is the most talented ninja I've seen, even more than Minato." Inoichi patted Kakashi's shoulder and consolidated him.

Kakashi and Tenzo looked at Inoichi with unsure eyes as they both know Tanaka is dating Inoichi's daughter and how much Inoichi is protective of his daughter.

"From the name of Tanaka's location, we can assume that he's in the northern part of the village. The residents live in the southern part and from what we know, there is no 'kage' in this village. We'd have to split, Inoichi-san will collect info in the residential part. Tenzo and I'll infiltrate a facility tonight and look for info." Kakashi informed his teammates.

"Hm"x2 both of them agreed.

-Meanwhile-

"How did this happen?" 

Inside a dark room with dimly lit blue light, Orochimaru asked his right-hand man, Kabuto.

"I am also curious, my lord. From what Sasuke said, he had only an ordinary Sharingan when he fought the nine-tails Jinchuriki and lost to Tanaka Hatake pretty quickly." Kabuto said as he touched his hand. Which he lost twice to the same guy.

"He was very skilled." 

"Tanaka Hatake… reminds me of that other Hatake." Orochimaru said as he observed the picture of Sasuke's Mangekyo. Which seemingly awakened out of nowhere the day they brought him here.

It left Orochimaru confused to the point where he couldn't sleep. Sasuke's Sharingan was just like Tanaka's except for the swirl part as his swirl was in the opposite direction. If Tanaka's Mangekyou gave the illusion of pushing things out, Sasuke's gave the illusion of sucking things in.

"The one who took Sasuke's Sharingan was Tanaka right?" 

"Yes my lord. When Kimimaro died, I decided to flee with Sasuke. But he was faster as he caught up and dug out Sasuke's eyes with bare hands, ripping it out with all the connective tissues. Maybe that anger made Sasuke awaken his Sharingan?"

"No. Anger is not the key, if it was anger the whole Uchiha clan would have had Mangekyo with their fragile ego."

'I'm missing something obvious, but I don't know what! Itachi killed his family for Mangekyo, that's what Sasuke said, is it about killing others!?'

"You said that he took Sasuke's sharingan right? Then is it possible that he is using it?" Orochimaru asked Kabuto.

"I don't know my lord. If he used them, he wouldn't be able to close his Sharingan so it would be obvious."

"That;s what you think. If he's smart enough to take the eye and not tell anybody he should at least have some plans with it. I need to meet him myself." 

"Are you planning to go after him too, my lord?"

"No. Knowing Tsunade, she'll send him to me."

"Then what about Sasuke my lord?"

"The only unique quality he has over Tanaka as a vessel is a fragile soul and the Sharingan. If I transfer the Sharingan to Tanaka after getting his body it'd be more useful."

'I'll get you too… Tanaka Hatake."
