Chapter 13: Preparations

[1 Month Later.]

1 month has passed, and in that time I've learned and perfected all of the Jutsus in the library from E-rank to D-rank. Some might say it's impressive but given the low-quality Jutsus that is E and D ranks, it isn't much to be giving care about. Safe to say now my arsenal is at least growing, but I need more power and Jutsus

I also got the time to see my chakra affinity. It was easy to get chakra paper since I asked Mom to buy one for me. I learned that I have the 5 basic chakra natures of lightning, wind, fire, earth, and water. The Yin and Yang affinity types I also have within me, but the chakra paper can't output those out so Lix was the one to tell me about it

And regarding the two extraordinary releases. Yin release is a way to control your imaginations, creating any type of form out of pure nothingness. It uses spiritual energy in order to manipulate it well

While Yang release uses physical energy to manipulate and control vitality, giving life to forms that have none. For example, dead plants and flowers. If treated with Yang release, it would give them back life. Though that is a low-level comparison but enough to know the overall use of it

Combining the two would be the Yin-Yang release. You can create anything you want and give it life. This has no boundaries or limits to its uses, so long as you have enough both spiritual energy and physical energy, you can use this to its full potential. It's the whole reason the creation of the Tailed Beasts was possible anyways thanks to Hagoromo, but even he has limits that I don't relate to

I have already an infinitely growing spiritual and physical energy. I have no worries about using this without getting exhausted

There's also the matter of Ino. We've gotten much closer now since the first day of the academy. She sometimes makes me my own bento, which I find kind of cute. And even with all of the affection that she was giving me, she didn't back down on her academics at all. She is very determined and focused on whatever her goal is set to. Granted all Iruka was teaching were basic human knowledge and tactical strategies of a Shinobi and all those other stuff, but it is nice to see that she's quite smart

Though it seemed that Ino didn't question it much. She was a girl on a mission that's for sure. She even beat Sakura for the top 1 in class for girls. Females are truly magnificent creatures

I on the other hand took the top spot as well in the boys, as well as the entire class, receiving a handful of glares from a certain Uchiha boy and its fangirls. I ignored them and continued to assert dominance over my class, even after being depicted as a loner since I don't talk much at all or interact with others except for Ino

Though speaking of that, I had a few short interactions with the more recognizable kids here in class, better known as the Konoha 9

Shikamaru one day asked me if I could join him with Choji. He seemed to pity me for my loneliness and decided to invite me with Choji. I agreed as we just sat under some tree while talking about random things. Shikamaru was quick to understand my reason for the lack of communication with others. I am not afraid to socialize, though I don't bother doing it that much

There was also the time were Ino brought me to her friends, that included Sakura, during lunchtime. Though it didn't last long since class had to begin, but we did talk to one another. They were a bit uncomfortable with my presence but ultimately accepted me rather quickly. Except for a certain pink-haired girl that was staring at me the whole time. I sensed she was wary of me in a way. Is it because I beat Sasuke in class in terms of everything? Maybe, but if I know Sakura, it's probably about Sasuke either way or something related to him

The others like Kiba, Shino, and Hinata. I didn't get to interact with them fully. But they did greet me here and there so that counts as something I guess

Even the brooding Uchiha boy himself gave me a couple of his "Hn" before turning around and leaving. Even before the Uchiha Massacre, he's still that brooding type. Classic Uchiha

And then there was Naruto himself. He accidentally bumped into me once when he was entering class. I sensed that he was intimidated by my presence, which I understand. Everyone can somehow tell that I've got an aura around me that just gives them an uneasy feeling. An aura that emits dominance, authority, and power. Naruto didn't have any interest in me, but he occasionally joins with Shikamaru, me, and Choji during lunchtime

I also took some time to compare others' chakra volumes. They are still 5 years old, but no harm done to analyze. For the girls the only one up for discussion is Hinata. The Hyuga isn't that well known for their chakra amount, but it's expected that they do have some chakra which is the case for Hinata. The second runner-up I would say is Ino. She is from a big clan so inheriting chakra is to be expected from her, and then the others don't have much to talk about, including Sakura as well. But in the future, we'll see

For the boys, it's easily Naruto that is on top with the most chakra, behind me, of course. Then Sasuke comes in with a decent sum of chakra in him. An Uchiha is still an Uchiha after all. Shino, Shikamaru, and Choji were interchangeable, and Kiba at last with the least amount of chakra out of all of them

There's also the matter of Hiruzen and Danzo. Mainly the attention I gained by "Beating" Sasuke in class, and claiming the throne of being the top student in class by a longshot. But that was about it, I have been doing good in maintaining myself from too much attention from both of them. It's only a matter of time before Danzo sends his Root after me, but then again, a "Civilian" like me should not be in his best interest. But who knows, maybe after the Uchiha Massacre, the old bastard will be that desperate and put me under his radar.

"Ahh... Fresh air"

I sighed, feeling nature's windy breeze covering my whole body. I was currently on the roof of the school

Turns out hanging out on the roof was better than staying in the room next to the window. There were no people or anyone from the higher class here so it was a quiet and calming place to be during lunch time. It also is a much better spot for me to meditate freely as I was currently doing

I had just finished lunch with Ino here as she decided to head back down with Sakura. Her eating lunch with me has become her habit now. Even though some days I don't speak much or just meditate, she enjoys my company very much and when we do talk about something, it's a long conversation that she enjoys

[So, what do you plan after you are finished here man? I know it's probably too early to talk about that but hey, why not tell it to your good pal Lix.]

"Hmm... Travel to another world after I'm finished and satisfied here. That's the plan that is"

[And what about your Ino? You just gonna leave her here?]

"I don't know just yet... I'll see to it soon. And even if I do decide to bring her, does she want to come with me?"

[Depends on her. She loves you man, but we'll see when you two get older. One day you'll tell her about your plans soon enough so my advice is, tell her the truth.]

"I will, Lix"

I replied. Still in a meditative form while being enveloped by the fresh breeze of nature. Life here seems very relaxing so far, though there will be changes and events happening soon. Once I graduate from the academy, that would only be the start...
