–Hokage Office–
*KNOCK* *KNOCK*
"Who's there?"
"Rize."
"Come in."
Rize opened the door and saw Minato working on several stacks of paper on his desk. He looked like he was about to fall asleep at any moment, his hands weren't even on the brush anymore.
"I see you've got quite a lot of work racked up there." Rize said with a teasing grin.
Minato glanced at the work and sighed before reclining into his chair. "Yep, it's a lot of work being the Hokage. Anyway, since you're here, let's get back on topic."
"I'm guessing you got the message Kakashi gave to the bird?" Rize asked.
Minato nodded before placing his interlocked hands on the desk, "I read the evaluation of you and it's pretty disappointing."
Rize tilted her head in amusement and smiled, "Which part of it is disappointing to you?"
"Well, the fact that you nearly killed Mikoto's son and my son." Minato said, although he appeared calm on the inside, his blood was boiling on the inside.
"Ah, that's right." Rize said as she placed her fist above her palm, "but they didn't die did they? In the end, they survived because their teacher saved them. If I knew their teacher couldn't save them, I wouldn't have used the ability."
Minato furrowed his eyebrows, he was angry. Rize could see a little of his killing intent spilling out. Although it was only a little bit, she could sense the air turning cold, and thicker.
"That's not the point, Rize." Minato said, his voice sickeningly soft. "What you did was dangerous, it could've caused multiple deaths, and it's a violation against the village's rules."
"Then what do you want me to do? Say sorry? Don't joke with me, it's not my fault they're weak. In fact, I've helped them. From now on, they'll have the burning desire to become stronger." Rize said.
Minato was left speechless, he couldn't form the right words to come out of his mouth. After all, the wide grin coming from Rize was eerie.
"As the Hokage, you should understand. The weak are destined to lie beneath the boots of the strong. If that angers you, overcome your deficits." Rize said.
Something about what Rize said snapped something inside of him, he didn't care anymore. Minato slammed his fist onto the table and flared his killing intent. His once calm demeanor had disappeared and the room was filled with red.
But Minato was confused, how was Rize smiling at his killing intent?
Rize grinned, Minato wasn't called the Hokage for nothing. She could tell he's killed plenty of lives mercilessly and easily. However, something like this was incomparable to hers.
After all, she had four hundred thousand souls living in her shadow. The four hundred thousand lives she had buried alive despite easily winning against the rebels. She wanted to see them suffer in their final moments, their devastating expressions when they realize there's no hope for them.
Suddenly, the door opened. Minato's killing intent disappeared as Kakashi walked through the door.
"Kakashi, what is it?" Minato asked, regaining his calm demeanor.
"I finished evaluating the test for the others. Team Seven has now officially formed consisting of Sasuke Uchiha, Naruto Uzumaki, and Sakura Haruno." Kakashi said, placing the report on the desk.
"Thank you, you may leave now. I still have some things to discuss with Rize."
"Okay, later then."
Once Kakashi closed the door behind him, Minato let out a long sigh.
"Rize, you're strong, you've passed the test. I'm going to be honest with you, your strength is around Chunin level or even higher." Minato said.
"Thank you for the compliments, but get to the point." Rize said.
"You are not compatible with anyone, you're better off working alone. You are selfish and do things without caring about others because you consider them weak." Minato said.
"Exactly, if I'm stronger than them, and working alone is better for me. It's their fault for getting injured because they're weak." Rize said with a smile.
"See what I mean? You look down on others because they're weaker than you." Minato said with a sigh, "To be honest, I don't know what to do with you. You're a special case."
Rize laughed, "Well, Hokage, you better come up with something. I'm waiting for your words and orders."
"Okay, from now on, you will have your own title. It's basically the same thing as rank but I think the title would fit better." Minato said as he started to write something down.
"Okay, what is it?" Rize asked.
"Your title will be Amanojaku, an evil being who wreaks chaos. I think it's a fitting name for you." Minato said.
Rize decided to let the slander slide and nodded.
"Then, what will your nickname be?"
"I will be called Grell, the evil being who reaps."
Rize walked out of the hokage's office with a mask that formed a skeleton face. She chuckled at the thought that it was quite fitting for her. After all, it was the grim reaper who had brought her into this world.
'It almost seems like the world revolves around you.' she thought.
Rize felt excited, her own title, and her own nickname. She would be carrying out missions with this new identity and killing plenty of people. And the last thing they see would be the mask that would remind them of the grim reaper.
"Perhaps, this world isn't so bad after all." Rize muttered as she made her way to the Uchiha compound.
However, a certain smell in the air had caught her attention causing her stomach to growl. She looked to her left and spotted the familiar ramen shop. However, Naruto Uzumaki was also there.
Rize shrugged and headed over to order some ramen.
"Excuse me, serve me today's special." Rize said as the old man nodded towards her. She spotted the name tag on the left area of his shirt.
"WHAT THE?!-" Naruto nearly fell out of his chair in surprise and clutched onto his heart. "When did you get there? I couldn't even sense you."
"Of course not," Rize said as she flicked Naruto's forehead. "You aren't strong enough to detect my presence yet."
"Oh? It seems like you made a new friend, Naruto! I'm happy for you." Teuchi said with a smile.
"No, no. You've got it all wrong!" Naruto denied their friendship. "This girl is definitely not my friend and will never be!"
Rize chuckled at the sight, she ignored their pointless banter, and focused on the girl named Ayame making her ramen. She activated her Sharingan and copied every move. Soon enough, she learned how to make ramen on her own.
"Here's your order." Ayame said as she placed the bowl in front of Rize.
"Thank you." Rize replied with a kind smile causing the latter to turn away quickly.
Rize slurped on the noodle and Naruto did the same. Despite mutually not liking each other, they would set their grudges aside when good food was served.
""Tasty.""
