Atsuchi's POV

Observing Kakashi intently in miniature form, I begin to calculate my chances of winning this fight, and my calculations are not very optimistic. Basically, Kakashi excels in everything, while my only advantage would be physical conditioning, which he would compensate for with the use of chakra.

Being Sakumo's son, it's likely that he was trained in Taijutsu, unlike me, who only had access to some fighting techniques from my past life, resulting in a diluted fighting style.

Walking slowly towards our teacher, I keep my focus on Kakashi. As I stand face to face with him, the teacher finally starts our battle.

Kakashi quickly charges at me, attempting to land a few punches and using techniques to distract me. I simply keep dodging, trying to keep up with the pace of the battle and looking for openings to attack. Eventually, I find some and deliver strikes that Kakashi easily evades.

He tries to land a spinning kick on my chest, but I manage to dodge it, performing an acrobatic move to try and hit him with my feet. However, Kakashi surprises me by evading with minimal movement.

Then, I simulate a "Break Dance" move on the ground, attempting a swift sweep, but he avoids it by taking a small jump, showing interest in my unusual fighting style. Without wasting time, I use a deadly technique from Brazilian Capoeira, composed of three strikes.

The first one is a high spinning kick with a low base, which Kakashi evades. Then, I feint, taking advantage of the momentum from the first strike, and perform another spinning kick with the other leg, using my arm as support.

Kakashi notices my attack and dodges again, jumping back as a desperate measure. I don't give him a chance to pause, and leveraging the momentum from the feint, I rotate my body and deliver another spinning kick with the same leg, taking advantage of the inertia and speed from the previous attack, landing a direct hit to his face. Kakashi is thrown to the ground with a loud thud.

Under the astonished gaze of everyone around, Kakashi simply turns into smoke, revealing a tree trunk in his place. Without wasting time, I turn around to defend myself as I sense something approaching from behind. I see Kakashi with a kunai in his hand, and quickly utilize a personal defense technique, projecting a defensive strike against his arm as he attempts to stab me. Successfully, I deflect his arm and take possession of his own kunai.

Kakashi quickly grabs another kunai with his free hand and prepares to defend himself.

With everyone's attentive gaze, we start a sequence of rapid strikes, our kunais clashing at high speed. With several exchanges, my endurance begins to quickly diminish.

Kakashi seems to be in better condition than me, and with no other options, I finally express my frustration by letting out a deep sigh. "If this continues, I'll be defeated. I'll have my rematch eventually," I quickly think, jumping back and distancing myself from Kakashi, raising my hands in a sign of surrender.

"I give up, you win!" I say to Kakashi, who sheathes his kunai and approaches with open hands. Noticing that he wants his kunai back, I provoke him, "Do you want your kunai back? I'm sure Sakumo's son wouldn't be so stingy," I say in a mocking tone. Kakashi simply retracts his hand and remains silent, awaiting the teacher's verdict.

As the teacher approaches, I quickly thank Kakashi for the kunai. "I was tired of using kitchen knives from my house for training," I add. Kakashi gives me an intrigued look and responds with a simple "Hmm," nodding his head.

With the battle concluded, the teacher announces Kakashi as the winner, praising him. I quickly make my way back to where the other children are waiting for their turn to fight. I am greeted by the excited cheers of the children, while Kakashi is essentially applauded by everyone.

Kakashi approaches me and remains silent. The atmosphere becomes quiet as Guy, with furrowed eyebrows, approaches with his thumb raised. "This is going to be troublesome," I think. Not that I'm antisocial or anything, it's just difficult for me to communicate with kids my age, after all, I'm an adult mentally.

Believe me, being an adult in a child's body has its advantages, but the disadvantages are equally proportionate. Dialogue simply doesn't flow because kids are just kids, and at some point, you lose patience.

"That was amazing! My blood is boiling! Kakashi, Atsuchi, I feel like we're going to be great rivals. Let's battle!" Guy says, smiling. Both Kakashi and I remain silent.

Until the teacher announces the next participants. "Obito, Maito Guy!" the teacher shouts, calling them to step forward for the fight.

"Who would've thought, it's your turn to fight. Too bad, isn't it, Kakashi?" I say to Guy, who seems a bit disappointed but quickly returns to smiling.

Kakashi, upon hearing his name mentioned, simply responds with a "Hmm," agreeing with me. Guy steps away to face Obito, but not before turning around, raising his thumb, and saying, "Thanks for the support," while beaming.

Basically, the fight was intense, and they exchanged many blows and kicks, but Obito eventually came out on top due to the use of chakra. Defeated, Guy shows disappointment in himself, and upon noticing the change, I simply raise my thumb in a gesture of approval, and I notice his self-esteem improve.

3rd Hokage's POV

During the day, right after the ninja academy test, a Chunin ninja approaches me to deliver a detailed report on the performance of each participant in the program. I quickly receive the report from him and dismiss him, opening it and starting to read. As I progress, I reach the most important topic, which describes the performance of Kakashi Hatake, son of Sakumo Hatake, a Kage-level ninja. His son truly impresses, but something catches my attention in the report.

During the test, where the academy participants were paired to battle each other, something unusual happened. Kakashi was paired with a participant from a civilian background. Considering he is the son of a Kage-level ninja, it was expected for him to be paired with one of the children from renowned clans. As I quickly read the report of the fight, a discovery leaves me in awe. For a child from a civilian background, such skill was not expected.

The described techniques used by the child possess a high level of artistic finesse, akin to a dance of death. His strikes and feints carry the attacking power of a Genin-level ninja. In these dark times, high-level talents like this young civilian are truly appreciated.

"This new generation seems to be the best one yet," I mutter, taking a puff from my pipe.
