Pov Atsuchi

As I wake up in the early morning to the melodious chirping of birds, I stretch and get out of bed, feeling a mix of excitement and anticipation. Today would be the day I begin my journey as a ninja. My heart beats rapidly, knowing that I am about to embark on a challenging and dangerous path in the coming months.

I gaze towards the table near the window and see the headband that I fought so hard to acquire. A faint smile forms on my lips. Carefully picking up the object, I feel the weight of responsibility that comes with it. It is proof that I am ready to face the challenges that lie ahead.

I change out of my pajamas into a set of ninja attire, carefully choosing each piece. As I tie the headband around my forehead, a wave of determination washes over me. This is the first step of many in my journey to become a powerful ninja.

I descend the stairs and find my mother preparing breakfast. The aroma of scrambled eggs and bacon fills the kitchen. I greet my family with a smile, but soon notice that something is bothering my mother.

"Good morning, Mom, Dad," I greet them, trying to divert a bit of their focus from their concerns.

"So, my little boy is now a ninja..." my mother says with a tone of frustration, looking at the headband on my forehead.

"Mom, we've already talked about this," I retort, knowing that they weren't entirely in favor of my decision. With the impending war, many families were worried and trying to dissuade their children from pursuing this dangerous path.

"We understand your need to become stronger, but that doesn't mean we have to agree with your choice. Your mother is very worried; rumors of the war are intensifying. Many families have already lost their children, and we don't want to go through that as well," my father warns me, trying to express his concern.

I take a deep breath, trying to find the right words to reassure them, but also to reinforce my determination. "I understand your concerns, but if I don't have the strength to protect you and myself in this distorted world, we will all be easy targets. That's why I will become a ninja so powerful that no one will dare to face us. You are my motivation for this."

My parents sigh, defeated by my words. They know they can't stop me from following my path, but the worry still lingers in their eyes.

I decide it's time to leave home to get some fresh air and relieve the tension. "I need a moment to clear my mind before starting the day. I promise I'll come back later for us to talk again, okay?"

They nod, understanding my need for space. With one last worried look from my mother, I step out the door, determined to face the challenges that lie ahead and prove that I can protect my family and myself in this ruthless ninja world.

After walking through Konoha at a slow but steady pace, I finally reach the imposing building of the ninja academy. My eyes are drawn to the building where the Hokage resides, but my attention is quickly diverted to the village's most iconic structure.

Raising my gaze, I behold the majestic mountain behind the Hokage building, where meticulously carved faces of the ancient Hokages adorn the landscape. I feel an irresistible urge to appreciate the view from the top and start running towards the monument.

Arriving swiftly at the top, I find a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy the magnificent view. It doesn't take long for me to notice someone's arrival around me. As I turn to greet the "guest," I see Minato-san standing before me, dressed in his Jonin attire.

"Good morning, Minato-san," I say, greeting him with respect and a touch of enthusiasm.

"Atsuchi-kun, I'm sure you already know that you shouldn't be running around like that," he says with a smile on his face, making it clear that he's aware of my little "adventure."

Of course, I knew exactly what he was talking about. Intruding on this private space was not appropriate, and I probably caused some trouble for the Hokage. But honestly, in that moment, I didn't care.

Even though I had acquired a full set of ninja skills, I could still be killed in some way during the imminent war. That's why I wanted to seize a moment of tranquility and appreciate the environment surrounding me.

"I apologize for the intrusion, Minato-san," I reply, with a slight smile. "I just felt the need to appreciate this breathtaking view before embarking on this journey as a genin. It's like I want to preserve this image in my mind, to inspire me in the tough moments that lie ahead."

Minato-san looks at me with understanding in his eyes. He knows what it means to be a young ninja full of dreams and expectations. His expression softens even further.

"I understand, Atsuchi-kun," Minato-san responds, leaning against one of the sculptures of the monument.

"It's important to find moments of peace and beauty, especially when we're about to face such great challenges. But remember, war is real and it requires preparation. You should head back to the ninja academy as they're about to announce the formation of genin teams."

Taking one last look at majestic Konoha for a few more minutes, I finally heed Minato's suggestion and make my way back to the Ninja Academy.

As I enter the classroom, I am greeted by my friends, who are already waiting with excitement. Walking slowly towards my desk, I feel a mix of nostalgia and anticipation. My eyes fixate on Kakashi and Guy, engaged in an animated conversation.

"Atsuchi, want to join in too?" Guy asks with his usual contagious energy.

"Join in on what exactly?" I inquire, knowing that Guy's question is always related to some kind of crazy exercise.

"As I was telling Kakashi, why don't we compete to see who can guess the most genin team formations?" Guy suggests, but I quickly reject the proposal. With my presence in the room, I'm not sure how the nominations will be made, and I don't like losing to these two.

With the entrance of our Chunin teacher and a brief introduction, he finally begins naming the compositions of the genin teams. My heart races with anticipation as I eagerly await the announcement of my team.

"Anko Mitarashi, Tetsu Hyuga, and Kata Koquinho will form Team 3. Await the arrival of your Jonin Sensei," declares our teacher, but in the next instant, the door starts irritatingly creaking open.

And with my keen gaze, I see Orochimaru enter, introducing himself as the Jonin sensei of Team 3, but not before casting a repugnant glance in my direction and disturbingly licking his lips.

"So, the snake has been watching me for some time," I reflect in my thoughts, feeling a shiver run down my spine. However, the Chunin teacher continues without interruption, announcing the other genin formations.
