Chapter 17 Academy

Chapter 16 has also been Re edited with MC now knowing shadow clone. Thank you Racecarthegodcar for that info on their being two seperate shadow clone jutsu.

Waking up early I quickly got dressed and made my way to the restroom to wash my face. Taking a good look at myself In the mirror. I see a young boy with messy crimson hair. Currently, I'm wearing black joggers, Hand wraps, and sandals. While also wearing a grey hoodie that has the Uzumaki clan symbol on the back in black and red.

Checking out my fit one last time I eventually feel good with what I see and head off for the Academy's Grand opening with my family.

On the way many families could be seen making their way to the new academy whether they had children joining or not. The making of this Academy was a historical event for our village and everyone wanted to witness it whether they were old or young.

Reaching the Grand gates of the Academy many children were running around introducing themselves to one another.

"Akashi look there are so many children! Aren't you happy you're going to be making so many friends soon" My mother spoke with joy. Secretly she had been quite nervous for her son. Ever since she could remember he has always been a quiet child never troubling others but isn't this wrong? Children should be out making friends and causing trouble but instead, her son was always interested in the clan. She of course was proud of her son though she still wished he'd have more of a normal childhood.

Now thanks to this new academy her son Akashi can finally make friends with the other children and act as he should. Maybe even bring her a daughter-in-law one day Tee Hee.

What is my mother thinking about with that creepy grin on her face? It can only be no good looks like I'm going to have to use my father as a shield again.

Moments later the crowd quieted down capturing my family's attention. Looking at the stage we saw my grandfather and the strongest shinobi in the village Ashina.

"Everyone I am proud to welcome you all to the opening of our new Academy. Two years ago our home was invaded by those who were only filled with greed in their hearts. They were tough times when the spirit of the village was dark without hope but we prevailed! We were not destroyed that day instead we were able to repel our enemies. Alas, victory isn't without great sacrifice. Through that battle, we lost more than half our forces and were pushed into a tough spot luckily we now have the Chinoike to guard the village alongside us adding greater protection to our home but this was only the first step. Now with this new academy, you all can have the chance to help us protect our home. This new school will teach all children how to become true shinobi without prejudice of whether they belong to a clan or not!"

The crowd began to cheer and citizens knew their family situations would soon be changing. Many civilians had wanted to become shinobi of Uzushiogakure but that privilege belonged solely to the Uzumaki. This only got worse when the village was attacked and the civilians could do nothing to help. Now being given a chance many quickly signed up their children so that they could live a different life.

"Is it just me or has Gramps gotten better at giving his speeches"

"Haha father-in-law has always been a good talker but I believe your right maybe he's been practicing"

"Alright settle down everyone settle down. The classes for each child have already been Assigned based on their needs and potential. Behind me are the instructors of our new academy. Each one will step forward and name the students in their class When called follow your teacher and they shall give you further instruction."

With that several teachers took turns stepping forward before leaving with classes of 30. Eventually, an older man stepped forward with grey blonde hair.

"Hello everyone I am instructor Shin Chinoike when I call your name step forward and follow me"

Then slowly he began to go down his list before I heard my name

" Oyashiro Chinoike, and lastly Akashi Uzumaki. Alright I believe that's all of them follow me, class"

Oyashiro? Why does that name sound familiar?

{yes I know En Oyashiros age may be different but don't worry much about it he will still have his daughter I just needed a Chinoike everyone was familiar with}

Not dwelling too long on that name I followed my class as we entered the school grounds where Shin sensei led us to our new class

"Alright, class ill introduce myself one more time so pay attention. I am Shin Chinoike a retired shinobi my likes are poetry, music and art as for dislikes… Uchiha. Now as for goals the destruction of the Uchiha. Well since that's done it's time to tell you all about this school's curriculum. From now I will be teaching math, geography, science, ninjutsu, and taijutsu. If anyone wants to get ahead in the class then I recommend going to the school's library where many jutsu will be available that have been donated by the Uzumaki and Chinoike clans."

Library huh not much use to me since I already have access to all my clans jutsu but it might be worth checking out if the Chinoike put anything interesting in there.

Still, most of the Subjects are extremely easy, especially for someone like me who was already a full-grown adult in my last life. Even with class being this easy their we're still things I found interesting.

Maybe I should pull am Itachi and just send a clone here instead of actually attending. No that won't work especially with the eye of Kagura it'll look suspicious. Looks like I'm gonna have to keep attending but ill try switching with clones every now and then it's not like all the teachers here are Uzumaki.
