Chapter 64: Future thoughts and letters

The old advisor looked pale… As he kept silent with the new orders in hand.

Mei was speechless yet again and felt a bit of pity for the old man but quickly resolved herself.

'I guess, I will see where this road leads…' she hardened herself.

Utakata looked at Mei and smiled as he said, "Saiken said that you should trust the boy… He is already powerful enough to take whatever he wants, and yet he decided to help people of a country that was practically his enemy…"

"I… I guess you are right." Mei said as she looked at the appointment scroll thoughtfully, before shouting to the dazed people.

"Stop loitering around! We got work to do!"

Aaaaaand done!

I put the last dot on my letter, which was a work of art in my book. Mmmmhmmmm! Truly! I sometimes forget just how Awesome I am. Umu, umu. Self-virtual high five! Yeah!

I re-read the letter and it brought a smile to my face.

Damn, taking the writing and seal skills from the one-eyed creep was so worth it, just looking at the letter at my hand, and how the writing seemed to convey my feelings, put a smile on my face.

After all, it was a letter to my beloved Hina-bunny.

I carefully folded the letter and put it in a special envelope. An envelope marked with seals to ensure no eyes but hers sees it.

Like hell, I would let those sperm-eyed pervs snooping around my letters…

I then laid the envelope with the rest of my letters, the letters were for my family and friends, I write to them once a month. Mainly for mother, cause the last thing I want was for her to send a whole army to find me… Thinking I was kidnapped… Frankly that woman… Loves the crap out of me… Sigh.

I am pretty sure that would be enough for me to not see the kingdom come when I meet her again. *Nodding to myself*

Well, there were a few letters for my father and Tsunade-nee-chan, but those were more for business, as I was about to announce my dealings and the alliance I made with the Land of Water and Kirigakure.

Heh~ I am pretty sure Tsunade-nee-chan will want to beat the crap out of me when she gets the letter, so I added a bouquet and an exclusive medical scroll from Kiri.

Hmmm~ Now that leaves me with a few more things to do…

Let's see…

I need to make a public appearance in all the main islands and help with the reconstruction and implement the new systems…

I need to give the people of water, new hope and start to change the ideals of war from being a part of their lives to something that's just to protect their precious people and land.

Also need to check the new blood that wants to volunteer for the reconstruction of the villages. I heard there were a lot, remarkable how a passionate speech and show of compassion can move people…

No wonder the snakey bastard had so many minions.

*Shaking my head*

Huuuuuuuuuuu~ So many things to do.

But I am glad that my minions are easily taking care of the radicals who don't want change… Small blessings for them I guess, if I got on their cases, they would be socially sacrificed…

*Sigh*

Ever since that night… After knowing Yagura could kill his people… I have had a lot of time to think…

And changing the Land of Water is my first step into finally accepting this world… I had been too passive and taking this as a game… Sigh.

Like hell, I would let Pein attack Konoha, or let Kaguya be unsealed…

But, I believe the 4th Ninja world war needs to occur… No, not like the one happening between Iwa and Kumo. I will do my best to stop that as soon as possible, that's helping no one.

But the one caused by Obito is important.

That was the start of unity between the villages. The start of tolerance. And I need to use that stage to set myself up for people to take in my ideals…

What?

Yes, I have noticed that my manipulations had caused lives… But honestly…

Life and the world itself, maybe even the multiverse, is all about balance and by driving the villages to a corner only then will they unite themselves in desperation…

No matter how immoral it might be…

*Sigh*

I will promise myself and the world, I shall promise on my Hina-bunny's beautiful eyes! I shall do my best to fix this world, and reduce the death of innocents to the minimum!

And I will somehow unite this world. I don't know why… But I have this nagging feeling that the way I am doing it now…

That is the answer…

But the answer to what? I have no clue!

I looked out the window as I watched the village being rebuilt by the people and my clones, and all the ninjas helping out.

A captivating scene…

Why do I feel melancholic?

Maybe I miss home? Honestly… I kind of do…

A soft smile appeared on the prince's face

I wonder how mother is doing, did those bastards stop bothering nee-chan? Is Tora being a menace? Sigh~ I will probably give that cat <Earth Burying Jutsu> for its birthday, just for gags.

Then my giggling stopped as my thoughts ended on Hinata.

"Hinata… I still wonder how a heartless man like myself developed feelings for someone… Sigh~ Guess we will never know…"

I shook my head as I called for Tobi.

[A/N: For those who still have issues with an adult developing feelings for Hinata. Know this… MC already had an anime fan-ish crush on Hinata from his previous life. Then he fell in love with her eyes when they first met. And being in a body of a child, even if he is an adult in soul, he is still affected by the hormones of that age, thus helping him develop real feelings for Hinata, not that he is sure this is love yet, mind you.]

He already knew what I wanted him to do. He took the letters and then smiled at me as he disappeared.

The great poop artist turned into an errand boy.

Tobi has been in a good mood as he watched the village getting reconstructed and people displaying smiles…

That dude is too kind for his good. Not that I mind.

I shook my head at the thought as I closed my eyes and started re-evaluating all that I did since coming to Water country.

My half-assed knowledge is no longer a viable option… I need to create a proper spy network, I can't let stupid things like that happen again…

And the war in Land of Lightning… My thoughts abruptly stopped there.

I realized that I was the one who caused the war in the Land of Lightning… Yes, it will help my ambitions, but I was the one who instigated so many death of innocents…

I can't stop the war without any sacrifices… But that will involve killing too many people to get my point across.

Also, this war will curb the mentality of Raikage A and the fence-sitter fossil…

Which will make the 4th world war easier to control…

The least I can do is lower the casualties…

So hopefully my letters to the leaders and the new alliance of Konoha and Kiri will start dissuading said war…

If not… Conceivably I could eliminate the stronger Ninjas for them to back off?

Food for thought.

Sigh…

Finally, the Akatsuki…

I can say that I wrecked their whole organization…

They now only have a paper chick, emo Naruto, Blackie, and an older emo Uchiha in their team…

Yes, they are still involving themselves in the new war but they are grossly understaffed now…

This brings two options for them honestly.

Either they are going to hole up in Ame for the time being and bide their time, which will easily derail the timeline by a lot… It's still almost 3 years till canon Naruto starts meaning 6 years till the original Pain attack was to occur… Which will be severely derailed now.

Or Nagato in anger will attack right away, meaning Konoha will have Tsunade-nee-chan, Pervy-toad, Aki da Baki and oldie moldy to defend it, which is promising. But there still will be massive casualties.

This is why I have decided to keep Tobi near Konoha and I can defend Kiri on my own…

Or, Nagato will be made to see some sense by Paper chick and Blackie and bide their time, that way we will probably gain around 10 years from now till they get ready to attack and hopefully, by that time, I will have lost my physical limitations and can destroy everything on sight.

I mean, if it's about pure power, I am probably as strong as Madara right now… Non-Jinchuriki or super sage Madara mind you! … But. I have experience of a baby…

Sigh… I can't have that anymore…

Yes, I can proudly cut everything out of everyone and make them as dumb as a toddler. But… I can't always rely on a power lent to me…

Call me paranoid… But after reading so many fanfics… there is one thing I learned… Well, maybe two things… or three… WELL, YOU GET THE IDEA.

Anyways, it's to expect the unexpected… And Murphy's law… I also remember that the final bosses can negate Appraisal skills for some reason… it's unlikely but it still scares me…Sigh.

So I am going to train… And what better way to train than joining an ongoing war to get experience?

Yes… I started this war… But I am not gonna go and kill innocents… I am just gonna go fight the ninjas in pure combat, and maybe even "practice" with the Akatsuki, that's always fun, right?

*Grinning*

Yeah, that sounds like a plan to me, and even if something happens here, I have Mayfly to retreat.

Nodding to myself at the idea, I started preparing to do so.

As Canon is already dead, what is stopping me from throwing out all the future inconveniences early on?

I was going through the border patrol report, and things weren't looking good as Iwa was stubborn about joining this war…

As I was about to assign more people missions for border patrol, a masked man entered the room and was instantly surrounded by my ANBU.

The man stumbled on the flat floor like a klutz and fell on his butt as he frantically waved his hands and started to say.

"WAIT WAIT! FRIENDLY, FRIENDLY! Tobi good boy~ No killing Tobi! Tobi will give you my favorite Poop drawing if you not kill TOBI!" The man started spouting strangely…

I felt a headache coming…

Messaging my temples, I ordered the ANBU to stand by.

Then I shot the masked man a glare and said menacingly, "You have exactly 30 seconds to say why you are here in my office without notice. If I don't like your answer, I will bury you myself." I declared.

But I felt a bit apprehensive…

'He entered the office out of nowhere… Which is a cause of concern but he has the same feeling as Mitsu around him…' I thought as I glared at the man.

"Ohh! Thank you, big boobi-chan, Tobi can do that!

the man started nodding frantically

"Micchan sent Tobi to be his delivery boy, Tobi here to deliver letters from Micchan."

"Here you go~ Tobi needs to go find Micchan's mommy and daddy now,

Bye, bye~"

The eccentric man called me 'Big boobi-chan' and I was about to crush him to dust but then he used the keyword Micchan which I could easily deduce was Mitsu.

The man dropped a letter on my desk and disappeared…

'What a dangerous man… But at least I know that he works for Mitsu… Where did that brat get someone like that to work for him? Doesn't matter, I will ask later…' I mused.

I opened the letter, though my ANBU wanted to protest.

I knew it was Mitsu's letter, just from the handwriting and addressing me as Tsunade-nee-chan…"

"Not to mention the aura around the letter was deliberately put."

Tsunade smiled as she imagined him writing said letter

Opening the envelope, I found three letters in it. I took out the topmost one.

| Dear Tsunade-nee-chan,

How are you? Hope your back isn't hurting and the paperwork isn't increasing, Well, it might increase a bit soon though, teehee~ I might have done some Ummm… Friend making? Yeah friend making, let's go with that.

Anywhoo, I am doing fine in the land of water as the people here were suffering but my kindness is helping them and all, so no worries there.

Also, I got myself a new maid and am looking for some more subordinates. I hope I will find some good ones in Kiri.

Tsunade glanced at the smudged word before subordinates however she could make out the first two letters which were "mi"

| I am staying in Kirigakure right now, before you blow a gasket, Mei-nee-chan is treating me pleasantly, so you have nothing to worry about!

Oh, yeah you don't know Mei-nee-chan, well she is the new Mizukage after the convenient passing of the previous one, nothing to worry about though!

Also, I made friends with the new Daimyo and sent the old one to a permanent sabbatical. Aren't I just the nicest? Oh and my new friend, the Daimyo of Land of Water, and Mei-neechan have decided to form a very close alliance with the land of fire, and don't worry about my father's approval, I have it already.

You have gotten 3 letters, the second one is a sealing matrix for storing, and inside that are personal sealed letters from the water Daimyo and Mizukage with the Alliance details that I thoroughly looked over.

And don't worry, my new friends were more than generous.

Soooo, I suggest that you read it over and call on our alliance with the Land of Wind to not get themselves involved in this war. This will very much force the 2 knuckleheads to calm down, lest they want to face a coalition of 3 countries separately.

All for peace, am I right?

So please take care of yourself, and don't worry too much. We don't want Nee-chan to get wrinkles now do we?

Now, now, before you feel like squashing me… The third letter is another sealing matrix and there is a gift for you.

Please take care of yourself nee-chan, and look after Konoha for me.

She simply opened a cabinet and took out her prized Sake and started drinking… She knew very well that a huge headache was coming.
