25 Kekkei Tōta

After the round of questions and answers, the Hokage declared the mission complete and increased the payout to a Rank B, being 200.000 Ryo.

After there was nothing else, Kuro left while Anko stayed. They also gave him a few days off from missions.

Now he was at home, reviewing the quest reward.

And it was something he had been waiting for a while.

[Quest Complete!

Name: First C-Rank Mission!

Description: Find and capture or exterminate the bandits!  Survive the Rogue Ninja attack!  Capture or kill the Kesseki brothers!

Rewards: +4650 EXP, [Mystic Eyes] updated, + 100% Affinity with the Earth Element.

Failure: Nothing, Death, Nothing.]

100% affinity with an element is necessary to be able to combine them perfectly, and thus get a completely new element.

The reason why even though many Shinobi have many elemental affinities, but cannot combine them perfectly is also due to that reason.

(A/N: Do not confuse. This is made up.)

Thanks to this reward, Kuro now has 100% affinity with all the basic elements and in the Yin element.

The element of Water he inherited from his mother.

The Wind element, he earned it by completing a quest in which he had to defeat Naruto eating ramen.

The Lightning when completing a quest related to Sasuke.

The Fire after making Itachi's clone disappear.

And the Earth has just won it.

Meanwhile, after winning a Shogi match to Shikamaru, he gained the Yin element.

Despite being able to combine elements, Kuro didn't need them against the Rogue Ninja and besides, it was better not to risk being discovered.

Kuro opened the palm of his hand and moved the chakra.

Cold steam began to come out of his palm and frost began to form.

After a moment, the frost disappeared and a small explosion erupted from his palm.

Ice Release and Explosion Release.

Now, Kuro placed both hands facing each other, with a bit of space between them and combined the elements of Earth, Fire and Wind.

A moment later, a small translucent sphere with a white core appeared between Kuro's hands.

With a thought, the sphere changed to become a small cube.

The Kekkei Tōta, Dust Release.

However, it still takes a lot of practice for it to reach even greater scope.

Still, it would be quite incredible if he could hide a small sphere of Dust Release under a Kunai or other cover.

Kuro made the cube disappear and checked the updated skill.

[Mystic Eyes (Passive) Lvl: MAX

Allows the user to analyze and copy the techniques he sees.

Allows the user to see in the dark.

Allows the user to perceive any movement of the opponent, regardless of speed or power.]

Kuro whistled after reading the new addition.

Previously, the skill did not influence his perception, after all, despite having the ability to analyze and copy techniques, he could not see attacks or movements that were extremely fast.

Now, he will be able to see them, however, it will depend on his body if he will be able to dodge them or not.

The news that Kuro was confronted by a Jounin quickly reached his former classmates, causing some to drop by to see how he was doing.

After a few days, Kuro ran into Anko at Dangos' store.

She told him a few things about what they found out after asking Jizoku.

Apparently an unknown person had hired the brothers to kill them.

The stranger had also devised the plan.

Which consisted of the brothers preventing the bandits from being caught, causing Konoha to send a tracking team to search for them.

However, they made sure not to look too dangerous, so as not to attract someone of high rank.

The stranger also told them about the geography of the area and even the hideout.

Also, after checking the Iwagakure Bingo Book that Konoha had, they found the identity of the brothers.

And just like Anko's suspicion, they were longtime Rogue Ninja, though not that dangerous individually, the book emphasized the siblings' well-known teamwork.

When the rest days were over, Kuro went back to doing missions.
