Lightning Style Jutsu

[A/N: The number of lightning styles in Canon is pitiful. Even the jutsu they use are mainly high level which requires a good amount of chakra. So I'll be using all the lightning jutsu from games or even fan-created ones that I see fit. I'll also make up some lightning jutsu at some point later in this fanfic. And you guys have any good ideas you can comment]

After the second year exam ended the students got two months break.

Yuto's House:

"Finally I have a vacation after a long time." Yuto thought being cheerful.

Yuto thought I need to plan this vacation carefully and thought seriously.

After running his brain like a train he pondered, "I should improve mainly in my physique, kenjutsu, and ninjutsu as they needed more time to improve and it will be my main fighting style I should improve and strengthen it properly.

So for physique which will acquire 4 hours from 5-9 am then comes kenjutsu which will take 5 hours from 10-3 pm and lastly, for ninjutsu we have 6 hours which will be from 4-10 pm. And I should leave a shadow clone for fuinjutsu.

Yuto went to check the scroll for lightning-style jutsu at the library. After arriving at the library he went straight towards the E rank section while opening the scroll he thought, 'Finally, now I can also spew something from my mouth though it may not be fire for now but lightning. The lightning jutsus shown in the anime mainly were high level so I cannot master them now. Chidori was mainly throughout the canon and some jutsu like lightning chakra armor, false darkness, lightning Wolf, raikiri, etc was shown and their main purpose was to either pierce or electrocute a target.

He then went over all the lightning-style jutsus in E and D sections, selected some that would fit his style, and made a list of them:

When Yuto saw some which described how cloud ninja practices them he thought, "Looks like many of these lightning style jutsus are copied and spoils from kumogakure shinobis. Maybe Hokage had told everyone if they find any scroll on jutsu which is not registered they may gain merit points."

He then proceeded to read about E-rank jutsu first:

Flickering Light Technique: Charging electrical chakra throughout the Cloud-Nin's entire body the shinobi makes his skin light up giving it a bright glow that can allow him to see it a night.

Lightning Clone Technique: This technique makes a simple clone of the shinobi however unlike the standard bunshin, which is a genjutsu, this bunshin takes an actual physical form through the use of electrically charged chakra. One can easily touch and hold this clone like it was an actual person, however, when it is attacked it quickly disperses into smoky, hot air. It is also able to attack using taijutsu, however, its ability to attack is around 1/10 in perspective to the user, in return for this weakness its attacks deliver shocks of electricity to the opponent's body.

Electricity Resistance Training: As most know electricity in general is a deadly and somewhat scarce element, generally one could only collect the necessary electricity to perform techniques if they were fighting in the middle of a thunderstorm, or near an electrical source. However current training standards in the academy show how a cloud-nin tends to make electricity through the use of chakra, turning most Cloud-nin into human capacitors, technically. The process is generally quite painful and requires about 3 months of mental and physical conditioning to resist the charges you activate in your body. As it is written, this technique is optional. A person who doesn't take this skill will generally feel pain when even performing their electricity-based techniques, also one who tends to take this ability tends to notice that minor shocks generally do not hurt them as badly.

'All three of them are not bad flickering light technique can create an opening during battle, for lightning clone which I will be using for a long time but to think it was an E rank Technique surprised me a little, and lastly electrical resistance training which can help me increase my resistance and see if it can help me in increasing my strength.' Yuto pondered.

After pondering he started reading D-rank Jutsu:

Burst Technique: An overall simple move that is generally taught to genin to assist in generating and controlling chakra for the sake of ninjutsu, the shinobi vents electric chakra from his entire body, causing anyone that touches or attacks him to receive minor electrical shocks and burns. The shinobi cannot move while in this state.

Current Transfer Technique: A nin creates a sort of electrical current on his hand, this current can then be transferred onto any weapon he happens to be holding at that moment be it a kunai, senbon, shuriken, or even a sword. The next physical attack he performs is charged with this electrical current, if he blocks a weapon attack with his weapon the current transfers over shocking the attacker. If by chance the user is not carrying a weapon he can transfer this current into his opponent's weapon shocking him, or can even hit him with this current.

Lightning Transformation Technique: When performing this skill, the user transforms into an extremely quick 'strand' of lightning. In this quick state, nothing is done slowly - everything is in a rush for the user. However, this strand of lightning is incapable of changing directions on its own. It can only change directions by bouncing off another object, such as a tree or a boulder, but the user is capable of bouncing off at any angle they wish to. It is not recommended to use this technique in a field with little objects to bounce off of. The Henge automatically dissipates when the user makes contact with a living target. Being in a state similar to lightning, the user plunges completely into their target and ends up in their physical state on the other side of their opponent. In addition to giving the target a painful electrical shock, this skill may or may not paralyze their opponent.

Lightning Release: Mark of jolts: You conjure your lightning release chakra and mold it around a chakra seal until you form a Kanji of your description with its meaning. This Kanji Floats in a space within 5 m of you and can be moved up to 20 m in any direction of your choice. Jolts- All creatures except you, within a 10 m radius sphere centered on your Kanji, take lightning damage.

Lightning Release: Static Force: This jutsu utilizes electricity to create static electricity within the hands, this static electricity can have nearby things float to the user's hands or repel things away with their hands.

Lightning Release: Guiding Bolt: A flash of lightning erupts from your hands towards a creature of your choice within range. Make a ranged ninjutsu attack against the target.

Lightning Release: Thunderclaw: You conjure your lightning release chakra to generate claws of Lightning around your hands.

Finished with the reading of D rank jutsus Yuto felt satisfied with his choice and concluded, "These D rank jutsu seems very useful they have wide application. Burst and thunderclaw are close-range techniques, guiding bolt, static force, Mark of jolts, and current transfer are medium-long range techniques, and lightning transformation can be used for evasion and fleeing these jutsus covered all of my weaknesses."

These jutsus are low levels but some of them have the potential of reaching high levels:

Electrical resistance technique if I could train this to a high degree not only will I be able to store electricity but be immune to it.

Lightning clones will always be useful during battles.

The Burst technique is like the Chidori stream but the output is low. It can be a stepping stone.

The current transfer is what we saw in Boruto how he throws lightning-imbued kunai and shurikens. It is like low-level Chidori katana.

Lightning transformation if mixed with body flicker I could travel faster than before or I could try running by bouncing on the ground.

Mark of jolt can help me in keeping enemies at bay though it has low damage it can be increased afterward and I should keep it near my body or one kunai can dissipate this technique.

Static force is like having magnet release it will be useful in controlling Kunai and Shurikens maybe in the future I could control the swords like those murims manhwas it will be good to have in my arsenal. And also let's not forget about the sword flying technique it will be soo useful during traveling.

The following day he got up as usual and did some stretching then readjusted the gravity seal to 8%, he could feel the oppression but endured and started his training as usual. After training his body he called the shadow clone and started practicing his taijutsu by battling it.

Satisfied with his physical training he began training in kenjutsu. He started with basics and moved to katas and footwork. He then practiced the iai technique mixing it with breathing techniques and thought, "I should at least complete the first form thunderclap and flash by the end of vacation."

After completed with the ninjutsu training he started practicing the lightning style jutsus which he picked yesterday.
