Chapter 21: Storm Release

I reached the Raikages office and knocked on the door.

"Come in" A's called out.

"You wanted to see me Raikage"

"I wanted to have you removed from the village. Darui convinced me to give you a chance" A gave Darui a look as he spoke, he looked rather bored on the nearby sofa.

"So you have a mission for me?"

"Darui has requested some backup in removing a group of rouge ninja from nearby lands that have banded together. Our latest intelligence says there are 10 Chinin and 1 Jonin" A finished reading out his report and turned to Darui.

"We will be heading out straight away. This is the reward" Darui passed me a scroll containing a Jutsu for Storm Release: Laser Circus. I looked at the name and Darui said "Sorry"

I guessed that A was trying to get around my wanting jutsu by giving me one he thinks I'd never be able to use.

"Is there a problem" A started stare me down.

"Not at all, I look forward to learning from this" I passed Darui the scroll back, I only took rewards after completing the request. I tried to stop myself from smiling when I thought about him seeing me use the jutsu for the first time.

A looked disappointed, I guess he expected me to through a tantrum or complain and leave.

"Let's go" Darui said as he walked to the exit.

Darui had been very quiet as he lead the way to the rogue ninjas base.

"Can I ask about your Storm Release?"

"Sure" Darui didn't seem to care, I'm guessing that just like many others who had tried to learn the release he didn't believe I could use it.

"What would you say is its main characteristics are?" I asked.

"Lighting is very direct, if you look at most Lightning style jutsu it is an attack that goes in one direction, but adding water style I the mix allows you to bend it and make it flow in many directions" Darui explained.

"Interesting, that should help, thank you"

"I'm sorry, but you won't be able to use it" Darui bowed his head a little.

"Do you want to bet?" I smiled at him.

Darui gave me a curious look, but he eventually just shook his head and didn't talk about it anymore. We reached the groups hideout staying a distance away, I could feel the chakra signatures the number A gave me were only slightly off.

"There are 14 Chunin and 3 Jonin level ninja, a few in that building and a few nearby" I said to Darui.

"You are a sensor?"

"That's right" I nodded.

"Do you think you can handle them up close while I prepare to attack for a distance?"

I felt the Chakra of the rogue ninja and thought about my odds, as long as Darui backed me up I should be fine.

"No problem" Darui immediately moved to a higher position and gave me a signal to move in.

I rushed towards the building, because I would need to get them to come out so Darui could back me up, I pulled out my sword and swung my sword to the side wall.

"Getsuga Tensho" I let out a wave of chakra and the building started to shake. The building came down and I could feel a few signatures disappeared. Multiple ninja jumped out of the building ready to attack.

"Take him down" One of the Jonin ninja called out. From his head band he was a ninja from the hidden mist.

"Water Style: Wild Water Wave" "Water Style: Wild Water Wave" "Water Style: Wild Water Wave" Three Chunin Ninja called out.

"Fire Style: Fire Ball Jutsu" I spat out a large ball of fire. As the moves hit each other a large amount of steam covered the area.

I appeared behind one of the Chunin, a loud crack sounded out as I grabbed his neck I made a swift move, breaking his neck in one move.

I held up my hand "Lighting Style: Chakra Bullet" I released a lightning bullet from my finger tip killing another ninja. The last Chunin was more on guard than the other two were.

"Water Style: Water Bullet" the last Chunin called out.

I held up my sword "Getsuga Tensho" a large wave of chakra shot out splitting his attack and then himself in two.

I turned to the Jonin Ninja.

The Jonin Ninja kept a distance, waiting for the rest of their group to arrive and attack. I shot another Lighting Style: Chakra Bullet towards the Jonin but he created a wall of water blocking my shot.

The rest of the Jonin and Chunin arrived each of them preparing a jutsu to attack.

"Water Style: Water Bullet"

"Lightning Style: Thunderbolt"

"Fire style: Fire Bullet"

As they attacked a barrage of white beams came from over head. Darui had used his Storm Release to create a massive attack. The few attacks the enemies had let out were crushed by Darui's attack.

The only ones to survive the attack was two of the Jonin ninja, however they were weak.

"Fire Style: Fire Ball Jutsu" I let out a large ball of fire towards the two ninja, they both barley jumped out of the way in time. Both crashed to the ground exhausted, they pulled out shuriken throwing them towards me, I disappeared with flash step.

"Hatake Style: Fell Crescent" I was able to dispatch them quickly with the Hatake sword style.
