Chapter 13: New Skills

I'm not sure how much time I had spent training, but I do know that it was the beginning of the year 76 in the leaf village, meaning I have one year until Lee, Neji and Tenten would graduate from the academy and two years until Naruto and the others.

I had seen both Lee and Hinata over the years, both of them wanting to spar with me and improve their skills and both of them had come far in a short amount of time. They had even come to start calling me Sensei, which didn't sound as bad as I thought it would.

Lee had created his own style that looked very different from mine, although you could tell the foundations were the same. His strikes were fast and powerful, he was able to attack very unpredictability and thanks to him learning taijutsu from Might Guy he had combined both of our style. According to Lee, Might Guy was very keen on meeting me one day and having a match. I didn't want to have a life and death match with him ever, but a friendly spar could be fun so I told Lee that I hoped to meet him as well.

Hinata however had made the style all her own, I couldn't even recognise it's foundation as my own. She was purely reactionary, she would hardly ever attack and seemed to allow her opponent destroy themselves. whenever I attacked her she would use as little movement as possible and send her chakra into my body whenever she was close, if my chakra was weaker then it would be draining my stamina at an incredible rate. At this point I think only myself, Jonin level ninja, kage level ninja and a Jinchuriki would be able to completely resist it.

I had also checked on Naruto on Saskue a few times, Saskue had seemed to take some of my advice, he had befriended Naruto but they both still see each other as rivals.

As for myself, my training seemed to have pulled off.

While my chakra was still at chunin level, thanks to my condensing method it was as powerful as a mid or even high jonin level ninja. My control and element training had as improved and I discovered that after both fire and water reached over 50% my kekkei Genkai didn't unlock meaning I had to unlock a specific two elements.

Since I hadn't taken any jobs from the hokage yet I had decided to create some jutsu of my own. I had created a chakra bullet jutsu that could be fired from my finger tips, it was inspired from both, kimimaro's digital shrapnel, and the 2nd mizukage's water gun jutsu. I had also tried to incorporate my own elements in to it, lightning was the fastest and had great penetration power, fire exploded on contact with the target, I tried to use the other elements but their power paled compare to these two elements for this jutsu.

While not as many as I would have liked I have already replicated a few jutsu from the anime through trial and error.

Water Style:

Water net (Self made skill creates a net of extremely thin and compressed water making it invisible, can cut through flesh and bone like a knife through hot butter. Also has added benefit when used no one can see the skill meaning they will believe the jutsu hasn't worked.)

Lighting style:

Lighting vision (Self made skill, pushes vision and reaction time beyond current limits, allows users to see things in slow motion) this was a very useful jutsu, so I started to use it as soon as I was in a fight.

I also took some more inspiration from bleach, there was a technique in it called flash step, it allowed a user to move at incredible speeds, disappearing from one place and appearing another at incredible speed. While it isn't as good as the forth hokage's flying thunder god when it came to range, it didn't have the same limitation of needing a seal where I wanted to land. When combined with my lighting vision I don't think even the Raikage would be able catch me easily. It wasn't an easy skill to master either, it took nearly seven months to get it down and only when my control reach 80% and over I was able to use it without issue.

Thanks to the awakening of my Yang chakra my regeneration ability had increase even more, and my Yin chakra had improved my mental energy. I had a theory I had tested with Kakashi, I asked him to try a genjutsu on me and nothing he tried worked. I had wondered a while ago if there was something keeping my mind calm and cool, I believe that even though I don't have a gamers body, the gamers mind skill was active even if it wasn't to the extent it should be.

I also increase the range of my sensory abilities and was now able to faintly pick up on the emotions of whoever I was observing, however the emotion had to be strong and I had to be focusing on that one person.

My sword had become my main and best style of combat, I only used it if I needed to however, I would use my Taijutsu to take down opponents unless I needed to take the battle seriously.

I also stole... I mean borrowed the transformation, substitution and clone jutsu by watching some Genin going through their final examination.

Now I was strong enough to survive, even if I couldn't win a battle I would be able to escape with my life if needed. Some people might have gone out and risked their lives already, but I wasn't going to until I was strong enough. I have already died once with no idea how it happened, this time, if I was going to die, I would make sure that I at least knew how.

I picked up my sword and materialized the sheath and string, hanging it on my back. I then headed toward to village. I was time to get my first mission.
