Chapter 6: Things are looking up.

"Night, this is the latest instruction from Danzo-sama." A Root ninja handed a scroll to Muyue.

Muyue nodded and took the scroll. "Night" was his codename within the Root.

The two didn't exchange many words, and the Root ninja quickly disappeared after handing over the scroll. Muyue was like a hidden piece for the Root, and having too much contact could lead to being discovered by the Anbu.

Before the Root ninja left, Muyue used his sensing technique to appraise him:

After reading the orders, Muyue used Fire Release to destroy the scroll. He knew that keeping such orders secret from the Anbu was pointless and would only draw suspicion toward himself.

Muyue created a shadow clone to practice ninjutsu while he himself began focusing on increasing his chakra reserves.

Currently, chakra was his biggest weakness. No matter how many ninjutsu he learned or how skilled he became, without enough chakra, he couldn't unleash their full potential.
