After a hearty breakfast with Lady Mito, Hanma Yujiro decided to make his way to one of the Land of Whirlpool's towering mountains. With his glaive in hand, he embarked on a journey to the highest peak, eager to partake in some physical exertion.
The ascent was marked by a series of powerful leaps and agile maneuvers as Yujiro traversed the rugged terrain, displaying the physical prowess that defined him. His overbearing gait remained intact, his arrogance unshaken.
Upon reaching the peak, Yujiro couldn't help but pause to appreciate the breathtaking panoramic view that unfolded before him. The vast expanse of the Land of Whirlpool sprawled out below, a mesmerizing tapestry of forests, rivers, and settlements.
With the tranquility of the mountainside enveloping him, Yujiro decided to indulge in some leisurely exercise. His glaive, a formidable weapon that he had acquired recently, called out to him like an old friend.
'Maybe I neglected this glaive too much, hahaha.'
He brandished it and spinned it effortlessly through the air. As the hours passed, Yujiro found himself lost in the rhythmic movements of his glaive.
The weapon became an extension of himself, an instrument of power and precision. He reveled in the sensation of strength coursing through him, the same strength that had brought him to the forefront of this new world.
Yujiro couldn't help but reflect on the formidable individuals he had encountered thus far—Hashirama, Madara, and Kurama. Each had presented a unique challenge, and each had left an indelible mark on his journey in this new world.
They had provided him with a taste of what it meant to face opponents who could match his own might, and he relished the prospect of discovering more such adversaries. His thoughts meandered as he continued to practice, his voice carrying on the mountain breeze.
"I know my dreams will be stolen again in the future. But I know I had to keep going, I COULDN'T JUST STOP! RIGHT!?"
Yujiro shouted while lamenting his future fate and the boredom that will gnaw upon him
"Sigh, let's just hope this world will not be boring like before."
With a nonchalant expression, he swung his glaive once more, the blade slicing through the air with a swift, controlled grace, "Let's see how long it takes to master this glaive," he mused.
"Though I may seldom use it, there's a certain joy in casually tearing through the sky in the future."
His eyes gleamed with a fierce, unyielding determination as he continued his practice, the mountain bearing witness to his unrelenting quest for power.
...
After his rigorous practice session with the glaive on the mountain's peak, Hanma Yujiro decided it was time to descend and make his way toward the largest building in the Land of Whirlpool, which he assumed housed the esteemed Uzumaki Clan leader, Uzumaki Ashina.
As he descended the mountainside and reached the ground, he was greeted by the familiar sight of Mito, who had been his gracious host since his arrival. Yujiro offered her a warm smile, acknowledging her with a nod. Mito, equally cordial, returned his smile and led the way as they continued their journey to meet Ashina.
The sprawling Uzushiogakure village seemed to hum with a sense of life and purpose as they walked through its streets.
Finally, they arrived at the grand building that was said to be the heart of Uzushiogakure's leadership. With the graceful Mito at his side, Yujiro entered the building, his imposing figure drawing the attention of those nearby.
Inside, the atmosphere was hushed and reverent. As they ventured deeper into the building, they approached a room where the voice of an elderly figure could be heard—an old and hoarse voice greeted them.
"Wassup madafaka!"
(A/N: I'm just kidding, hahaha)
Deep within the impressive halls of the Uzumaki Clan's grand building, the voice of an elderly figure resonated, growing clearer as Lady Mito and Hanma Yujiro ventured into the room. It was here that they would meet Ashina, the leader of the Uzumaki Clan, and potentially set the stage for an alliance that could impact both clans and the Land of Whirlpool as a whole.
As they entered, Ashina rose from his seat, his aged yet imposing presence commanding the room. With a firm handshake, introductions were made. Ashina, the leader of Uzushiogakure, greeted Yujiro with the wisdom of someone who had witnessed the passage of countless seasons.
His voice held the gravitas of a leader, and his eyes reflected the weight of responsibility he carried.
"Uzumaki Ashina, it's pleasure to meet with someone of your prowess."
In contrast, Yujiro, true to his confident and charismatic nature, extended his own introduction with a hearty smile.
"Hanma Yujiro , the pleasure's all mine," he said, his voice carrying an air of warmth and approachability.
Gratitude was extended to Mito for her role in facilitating this momentous meeting. She responded with grace, expressing her hopes for a harmonious relationship between their respective clans.
Pleasantries were exchanged, and the atmosphere gradually shifted from formal introductions to a more relaxed tone.
Seated comfortably in a well-appointed room, the conversation flowed naturally between Yujiro and Ashina. The Uzushiogakure leader inquired about Yujiro's experiences in the village, curious about his impressions of its people and customs.
"It's been a remarkable experience, Ashina," Yujiro replied, his tone sincere.
"The Uzumaki Clan's Fuinjutsu techniques are truly impressive, and the hospitality of your village has been unparalleled, Mito had introduced me the local delicacies and the village's beautiful sceneries."
Ashina nodded with appreciation.
As the conversation continued, Yujiro and Ashina discussed various topics, one of them was the fragile balance of peace between the villages.
The room was filled with the earnest exchange of ideas and concerns. Yujiro listened attentively as Ashina shared his worries about the delicate balance of peace in this fledgling era of shinobi villages.
He nodded in understanding, acknowledging the challenges that lay ahead if they were not strong enough.
"The Land of Whirlpools is a treasure trove of potential," Yujiro replied.
"The Uzumaki Clan's mastery of Fuinjutsu and your village's strategic location make it a formidable asset. However, I can see how the absence of other clans in this region might lead to uncertain times in the future."
Ashina sighed, his expression growing more solemn, "Indeed, Yujiro. While we are in a relatively peaceful period now, the world of shinobi is ever-changing.
If the strength of figures like Hashirama and Madara were to wane, it could embolden other villages to seek expansion. Uzushiogakure must remain vigilant."
Yujiro leaned back in his chair, a thoughtful look in his eyes.
"In Konohagakure, they face similar challenges. The Senju and Uchiha clans have a responsibility to maintain stability and deter potential conflicts that will span after their demise. But from what I've seen, it's a complex task."
Ashina nodded in agreement, "That's why building strong alliances with like-minded clans is crucial. Cooperation and mutual support can help ensure a lasting peace."
"As leaders, we must always consider the well-being of our people and the future of our clans," Yujiro remarked, his tone resolute.
"I believe that with open communication and trust, we can navigate the challenges that lie ahead."
Ashina offered a genuine smile, "I share your optimism, Yujiro!"
"The Hanma and the Uzumaki have much to learn from each other. In these times of change and uncertainty, forging strong alliances is more important than ever." Ashina continued.
Yujiro nodded in agreement. "Indeed, Ashina. I believe that our clans have the potential for great cooperation and growth."
Then, Ashina wasted no time in broaching the subject that was at the heart of their meeting—the possibility of forming an alliance between the Uzumaki Clan and the Hanma Clan.
"Yujiro, today's meeting, as you know, was about sealing a promising partnership between our clans. I hope we can work together to ensure a brighter future!"
With a smirk that held an air of self-assuredness, Yujiro affirmed that the Hanma Clan indeed harbored a keen interest in such an alliance. He understood the potential benefits and the strength that could be derived from such a partnership, and he didn't shy away from making their intentions clear.
In response to Yujiro's affirmation, Ashina's eyes gleamed with a mixture of delight and intrigue. He couldn't help but laugh heartily, a sound that echoed through the room.
It was apparent that Ashina was highly impressed by Yujiro and his clan's potential, for such a partnership had been elusive, even to the most esteemed clans of their land.
To think that the Hanma Clan had produced an individual with prowess comparable to the legendary Shinobi Gods—Hashirama and Madara—showed their formidable might in cultivating talents!
With an eagerness that mirrored Yujiro's own, Ashina readily agreed to the alliance. The meeting progressed, and they were laying the foundation for a promising relationship.
In that room, the weight of their responsibilities seemed to lessen, replaced by the hope of strengthening their clans through newfound friendship. Then, some contracts and scrolls were brought forth.
He proceed to ask about the content of their alliances. He didn't want to be scammed into doing something boring!
The terms were comprehensive, encompassing a wide range of agreements from military support to the sharing of knowledge and resources. As Ashina listed down the terms of agreement, Yujiro found out that they will trade some information that can increase the battle prowess of their clan or some business model that they can use to improve their clan's economy.
They also need to help when it was determined either of their clans will perished or in great danger.
Yujiro contemplated for a second and agreed to it as he can provide the information easily and with his strength, he believe he can thwart most problems that could occur in the future. It was clear that this partnership will bring immense benefit in his path to become stronger.
Even if the terms only included Fuinjutsu, in Yujiro's point of view, he was already satisfied.
Ashina said he hoped he can sealed the alliances with Fuinjutsu to immortalize their alliance in generations to come. Yujiro was interested as Mito had not taught him about this kind of Fuinjutsu application yet.
Then, with the diligent application of Fuinjutsu, the pact between the Uzumaki Clan and the Hanma Clan was sealed. Yet, as the documents were finalized and the alliance sealed, Ashina couldn't contain his curiosity. He leaned forward, his eyes scrutinizing Yujiro as he posed a question.
"How many members are there in the Hanma Clan and how many who can engage in battle?" Ashina asked, his tone a mixture of anticipation and eagerness.
Yujiro couldn't help but conceal a knowing smile as he responded with a calm and composed demeanor, "Currently, there is only one member in the Hanma Clan capable of combat. However, we anticipate that in a year's time, there may be two additional members who can contribute to our clan's martial strength."
The room fell into a sudden hush, and Ashina and Mito exchanged wide-eyed glances. The shock of such a revelation was palpable, and for a moment, it seemed as though the very foundation of their understanding had been shaken.
Ashina's voice finally broke the silence, his words tinged with disbelief as he repeated, "Two additional members...in a year's time?"
Yujiro's eyes glittered with amusement, and he nodded confidently. "Yes, Ashina. You heard correctly."
The implications of this revelation hung heavily in the air, casting a heavy air palpating inside the meeting room.
