As Kazuki and his family walked through the bustling streets of Konoha, they finally arrived at the Academy. The large building was filled with children and parents, each family brimming with anticipation and excitement. The air buzzed with the hopeful chatter of new students, ready to start their journey as shinobi.
Inside, the students were gathered in a large hall where the instructors welcomed them. Among the crowd, Kazuki spotted Might Guy, Obito Uchiha, and Rin Nohara, all looking as eager as he felt.
Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, stepped up to address the assembly. His presence commanded attention, and the hall fell silent as he began to speak.
"Welcome to the Academy," Hiruzen began, his voice strong and filled with warmth. "Here, you will learn the skills needed to become a shinobi of Konoha. But remember, being a shinobi is not just about strength or skill. It's about heart, dedication, and the Will of Fire. The Will of Fire is what binds us together as a village. It is our belief in protecting those we love, our determination to persevere through adversity, and our commitment to the greater good of Konoha."
Kazuki listened, but his thoughts were elsewhere. "The Will of Fire… It's a nice story," he thought, "but it's not enough. Blind belief won't protect my family or secure our future. Power and strategy are what really matter."
Hiruzen continued, "The bonds you form here will be your greatest strength. Your comrades will be your support, your guidance, and your family. Together, you will grow stronger and protect each other."
Kazuki was tired of listeing to the pervert so he started to look around at his peers. Kazuki noticed several other children that have an inpact of the original story, the closet to him was Kurenai Yuhi. Her eyes instantly stood out like vibrant red rubys.
"The anime did her so dirty, infact everyone looks oddly to attractive to be real"
As Hiruzen finished his speech, the students erupted into applause. The idealistic words had clearly inspired many, but for Kazuki, it was just another reminder of the gap between lofty ideals and harsh reality.
The students were then divided into smaller groups based on their enternace exams where they would learn with their peers till the age of 11 when they would become genin. Kazuki found himself in a group with Might Guy, Obito, Rin, and a few other familiar faces.
Kazuki entered the classroom, taking a seat at the back by the window. The room was filled with chatter as students found their places, eager to start their first day at the Academy. The door opened, and the room fell silent as the teachers walked in.
A tall, stern-looking man with a scar across his cheek stood at the front. "Good morning, students. I am your primary instructor, Iruka Umino. I will be teaching you the fundamentals of being a shinobi. Beside me is your taijutsu instructor, Might Duy."
Might Duy, with his enthusiastic demeanor and signature bowl haircut, stepped forward. "Youthful students, I am here to ignite your passion for taijutsu! Together, we will push beyond our limits!"
Iruka nodded. "Now, let's go around the room and have everyone introduce themselves. Tell us your name and something about why you want to be a shinobi."
A girl with long, dark hair and red eyes stood up first. "I'm Kurenai Yuhi. I'm excited to learn genjutsu and become a strong kunoichi."
Next, a boy with spiky black hair and a relaxed posture introduced himself. "I'm Asuma Sarutobi. I want to follow in my father's footsteps and protect the village."
A bubbly girl with purple hair and an energetic presence spoke up. "I'm Anko Mitarashi! I love a good challenge and can't wait to prove myself!"
Kazuki watched as more students introduced themselves, noting their ambitions and backgrounds.
"I'm Genma Shiranui. I'm looking forward to mastering my skills with senbon."
"My name is Raido Namiashi. I'm here to become stronger and protect my comrades."
Finally, it was Kazuki's turn. He stood up, feeling the eyes of his classmates on him. "I'm Kazuki Uchiha. My goal is to become a powerful shinobi and ensure the safety of my family."
Iruka smiled and nodded. "Thank you, Kazuki. It's good to see such determination.
After the introductions, Iruka stepped forward with a smile. "Now that we've gotten to know each other a little better, let's move on to our first lesson. Today, we will start with a taijutsu competition to assess your combat skills."
Might Duy clapped his hands enthusiastically. "That's right! A tournament-style competition to ignite your youthful spirits!"
The students exchanged excited and nervous glances as they followed Iruka and Might Duy out of the classroom and onto the training field outside. The sun was shining brightly, casting long shadows on the ground as they stepped onto the grassy field.
Iruka gathered the students in a circle. "Here's how it will work: you'll compete one-on-one in a tournament format. The winners of each match will advance to the next round until we have a final champion."
The students buzzed with anticipation, stretching and preparing for their matches. Kazuki felt his muscles loosen as he warmed up, the nervous energy from earlier transforming into focused determination.
Iruka began calling out names for the first round of matches. Kazuki watched as his classmates squared off, each displaying their unique styles and strengths. When his name was called, he stepped forward, ready to face his first opponent.
"Let the matches begin!" Iruka announced, signaling the start of the tournament. Kazuki and his opponent faced each other, each ready to give their best in the first taijutsu competition of their Academy training."
