More Training

Since Nobita's home had less real estate, the next day he moved to the Genin training grounds. After some weight training and refining his evasion jutsu, namely body substitution and cloak of invisibility jutsu, he moved on to the Arhat fist. This technique had a total of six moves: rising knee, thrusting shoulder, crumbling palm, rising attack palm, pressure palm, and rock attack.

This was a taijutsu based technique and so Nobita hoped his relatively high strength would be able to help him be a powerful user of this technique. Nobita first tried practicing the first two moves: rising knee and thrusting shoulder. Although no chakra was required, these were pretty complicated movements, specifically the timing and coordination of his body.

"Hah! This is hard, but pretty fun! I think I can get this technique down pretty soon though."

And so, Nobita continued this training regimen for the next two weeks, and was able to get a good grasp on the technique. He used his clone as his training partner and when he was out of chakra, he used trees to apply his techniques on. Nobita would be gone early in the morning and would return late at night, and left meals for his brother.

During these two weeks, he did not look at his stats, so as to not gain any self-satisfaction before he was able to get the technique down.

"Not bad at all! All that training really bore fruit! Looks like using 2 clones is great for training! Also I got a new buff, pretty cool stuff!"

On the way back from the training grounds, Nobita came across team 10, namely the Ino–Shika–Chō Trio.

Nobita: "Hi guys, coming back from a mission?"

Ino: "Uh.... you are?"

Choji: "He's Nobita, you're in the Genin corps right?"

Nobita: "Oh yeah, haha, I wasn't good enough to be on a team, haha."

Shikamaru: "You seem much stronger than before, lot of training I believe?"

Nobita: "Yea, a little bit here and there, I still haven't done a mission haha. Need to get my act together."

Ino smiled at that, and said: "Well we'll see you later then, best of luck training."

Nobita smiled back politely and then went on his way.

"Looks like I need to do a mission soon, I'm really running low on money. After getting a good understanding of fire release and better chakra control, the first thing I'm doing is a mission."

The next day Nobita took a rest day, and since it was a weekend, he took his little brother out and treated him to a cheap restaurant meal. They also went to the temple and visited their parents' graves.

Jiro: "Nii-san I hope that mom and dad are at peace."

Nobita: "Don't worry Jiro, I'm sure they are. They're probably looking over us right now."

Nobita gave Jiro a bright smile. Although he didn't feel any sadness over the death of his parents since he was a transmigrator, he did have an affection for his younger brother and wanted to reassure him and be a good big bro.

After the relaxing rest day, Nobita went back to training. The next few days he solely focused on fire release and tree walking to better his chakra control. After 4 days, he was able to not only release fire from his mouth and hands, he was able to mold it into a sort of weapon. Although it consumed a lot of Chakra, especially if used for long durations, he was now able to create a sort of long sword.

Now that he had accomplished his goal, Nobita immediately went to find a mission which payed well. He also took a glance at his stats to see how he had improved.
