Title: Medicinal Bath

After the little alterations between Shun and the girls, Hinami and Ria to be exact, he proceeded into the cabin to wait for the boys.

After some discussion some years ago, Kaguya had agreed to keep from appearing in public as according to Shun, it would alert a couple people who would destroy the future he wishes to see happen.

So apart from Rōran, she rarely moves around.

As Shun sat in silence, he thought on how to make a suitable solution to strengthen and nourish the boys bodies.

Although he could make some pills, making medicinal baths was not something he was versed in, that was Hinami's and Ria's domain of expertise.

"Eien, any ideas?" Shun asked his ever trust AI

[Master should follow the memories of what you've seen Miss Ria and Kaguya do in the past.] Eien replied.

"Eh? But I never really paid attention to that." Shun said sadly.

Although he had a Universal Level Spirit, he couldn't possibly remember something he didn't see, not to talk of paying attention to.

"Guess I'll just have to mix in some grasses that serve some specific purposes, huh?" Shun concluded after giving it some thought.

[It is unadvisable, Master.] Eein's calm voice sounded out.

"Pshh... What? Are you doubting me, Eien?" Shun asked as he waved her opinion nonchalantly.

"Hmm? Fine, keep quiet all you want, I will just have to prove it to you. Humph." Shun snorted and began producing several types of grasses inside the cabin.

These herbs all had various function and could all be used to refine different kinds of pills for both chakra and body training. It could also be used for healing wounds and diseases but they could only to refined as pills as far as his knowledge went.

"Whatever. Who said they can't be reverse engineered to make medicinal baths." Shun said and began refining the herbs with flames.

After around 10 minutes, he finally refined a greenish liquid and let a proud smile and said. "See that Eien, isn't this it?"

[Master is definitely correct, it is it, but as they're little children with little to no body tempering whatsoever, it is estimated that this solution has a 79 percent chance of destroying their cells from the inside out.] Eien said.

"Eh?" Shun froze. "This has that level of potency?"

[Master, your power category is slightly affected beyond what this universe as a whole can categorize. Anything you make would be affected no matter how low the quality is to you.] Eien answered.

Shun thought for a moment and then asked. "Then does that mean I have to do it manually?"

[Affirmative.]

"Damn." Shun cursed. For a moment, he thought of just allowing the boys to recover on their own but after giving it some more thought, he decided to challenge himself.

"Fine then, it's just some manual labour, what's can be so hard about it." Shun said and then expanded the already enlarged inside of the cabin.

In the spot where he was, two large pot appeared and floated in front of him. In one swift movement, he began throwing in all the herbs into the pots as he lit a flame beneath them.

Pouring some water into the pot, he began stirring it.

[Mas-]

"Shh, Eien, I'm in a critical situation now, no disturbances." Shun said, interrupting Eien from saying what she wanted to say.

Another 15 minutes went by and Shun stopped what he was doing and looked at the two pots with an ugly look on his face.

"This shouldn't be the outcome right? I literally followed all the procedures I would have followed if I was refining a pill, right? Eien, what's going on here." Shun asked.

What was in front of him wasn't the normal lush green medicinal bath that either Hinami or Ria usually concocted during the times he trained those brats from years ago.

The concoction in front of him was currently a mix of purple and black. How that came to be left him flabbergasted.

"Eien? Why are you keeping quiet?" Shun asked.

[Master asked me to be quiet when I wanted to correct you.] Eien sulky voice sounded in his ears.

"Eh? That was what that call was about? C'mon Eien, you can't possibly expect me to know that right? How about this, we'll refine another one together this time? Hmm? No need to be all sulky, alright?" Shun tried to pacify Eien.

[Humph, since you insist Master, i'll- unfortunately, the boys have arrived Master.] Eien who was about to go all tsundere on Shun paused as she felt the arrival of Madara and Hashirama.

"Eh? They're able to reach here in less than 30 minutes? Mm. As expected of my brothers." Shun nodded proudly, looking at the concoction in front of him, he could only sigh and say. "Guess we'll just have to check out their rate of survival then."

"Why hasn't their food arrived yet?" Shun mumbled as be walked towards the door to welcome the two.

On reaching the door, he saw the two drenched in water and the rain still mercilessly raining down on them. The look in their eyes was anything friendly at this point and Shun was sure to have died a hundred time over if looks could actually kill.

Changing his tone to that of an old man once more, he said. "Ah, who would have expected you two to still have the energy to walk over here. Geniuses I tell you. You two are geniuses."

Shun didn't forget to praise them which helped a little as pride flashed through Madara's eyes before reverting back to his dead stare.

Hashirama however had his dead start turn into one of grievance but before they could say anything, Shun put them to sleep and floated them into the cabin.

Floating them above the poisonous concoction he just made, he clasped his hands together, closed his eyes and said solemnly. "Amitabha. You young ones are about to undergo a tribulation of the flesh, I can only wish you success in your endeavours."

Without opening his eyes, he dropped the two inside the concoction and tapped the air, forming a seal circle around them.

This seal circle was a space time seal that fastened the time around the two boys. Five hours in there would be five minutes for Shun.

Shun could have increased the time ratio but as they were boys and he didn't know what effect this may have on them, he went for the a slower time ratio difference.

[Master. That's dangerous.] Eien's serious voice sounded in his mind.

Shun didn't open his eye nor unclasp his hands. Instead, his body shone with a divine light as he said. "Buddha is merciful to all. This is but a tribulation they have to go through to grow."

If Eien had a face, they'd probably be twitching right around now at Shun's shamelessness.

Five minutes quickly passed but before Shun could even release the seal, another space time seal appeared behind him and from it, several rows of plates with several dishes appeared.

"Seems like they made it in record time. As expected of my servants." Shun said not still moving from his position nor even opening his eyes.

Inside the seal, Madara and Hashirama had just gone through the most horrible pain of their entire lifetime. Although they were just barely 10 years old, they felt they'd lived for quite a long time due to the pain.

The originally fatigued mind was shaken awake due to the searing pain they felt from their body but before they could even react to it, thet felt themselves healing and once again, before they could have a sigh of relief, the searing pain came again, knocking them unconscious, Awakening them, and repeating the same process over and over again.

This went on for several circles that they felt their minds about to collapse, but as soon as their consciousness began fading, a soothing energy would burst and sooth their minds.

This went on for quite some time till they finally were able to withstand the pain to some degree but even at that, as soon as the entire process ended, they fainted due to fatigue.

Shun who had just released the seal and saw that the boys were in top health, smiled and said. "Buddha is merciful."

[Master can drop the act now.] Eien said.

"Humph, who said it was an act? I quite like being Buddha. Don't you think it fits me?" Shun asked.

[You still have your hairs Master. You'd have to be bald to be Buddha.] Eien answered.

"That's true." Shun nodded and thought seriously for a moment. "But they're several Buddhas who had hairs, although coiled or something."

[The great Buddha of Nara and the Guatama Buddha are some of those. Would you be willing to cut your hair short, Master?] Eien asked in amusement.

"Sigh. Whatever Eien. This young master simply has no fate with the Buddhist Dao then. A pity indeed." Shun said. Waving his hand, he floated the two boys up from the now stagnant liquid and dried them up.

As their clothes were already tattered, Shun simply reversed time on it and made them as new as possible.

Sending some pure spiritual energy into their mind scape, he sat them them at the table and waited for them to awaken.

With this, Thier time wouldn't be wanted on them resting to recover from their mental fatigue.

In no time at all, at least to Shun, they both began to gain cognizance of their surrounding and Madara being Madara was the first to open his eyes fully and jump back in shock.

Hashirama who felt the sudden movement beside him also went on alert only to here a chuckle.

"Look at you two go. Come now, take your seat and dig in, you both must be starving right?" Shun said in his old voice.

"Where are we, Oldman?" Madara asked as he looked at the interior of the cabin.

"Hmm? Were in my cabin young one. Come on, the food is getting cold and it won't be tasty that way." Shun answered and urged them.

These food was specially designed by Hinami during her research on other ways to use plants for things other than medicine and poison.

Although Shun had just mentioned it as a possibilities, Hinami made it a reality and for some time now, it had been a source of income for several Chakra users that pass by the city of Rōran.

Madara wanted to say something but before he could, both he and Hashirama's tummy grumbled much to their embarrassment.

They both blushed in shame which made Shun's eyebrow twitch. "There weren't any girls here, why are they blushing?" He thought.

Hashirama sat down with Madara following and taking a good look at the food before them, they forgot everything else and rushed to dig in.

Unfortunately, their movements were restrained before they could dig in much to their shock, only to hear Shun's aged and strict voice again. "Seems like I also have to reach you boys manners. Huh?"

"What do you say before meals?" Shun asked strictly

"It-itadakimasu." The two of them said.

"It's good that you know, now I'm going to release you two, so behave like well mannered kids before I'm forced to teach you some manners." Shun said.

"Hai!" They replied, not bothered by Shun's strictness but by the salivating food in front of them which they couldn't reach.

"Alright. Now dig in." Shun released them and they immediately said. "ITADAKIMASU!" And gobbled down whatever crossed their path.

'Heh. Children.' Shun thought, completely forgetting that he was the reason why they had to fall into such dire straits in the first place.
