8 helping out the boys

'When does this mission start' I asked the system.

[the system recommends the host accept the mission in the morning. and it is recommended the host train his water manipulation before accepting this quest.

I slowly drifted to sleep thinking about what the quest would be having me do.

waking up to the smell of food was a new experience for Naruto. I got up and stretched and whipped the tiredness out of my eyes.

walking into the kitchen I noticed Scáthach sitting on a chair with barbeque and a side of food and sauces.

"good morning," I said washing my hands and taking a seat at the table giving Scáthach some space.

she gave me a nod of her head and went back to eating. I followed her example and started eating.

"what do you want to do today," she asked me.

"... well I'm going to be training my water manipulation before I have to start my mission," I told her truthfully.

"what mission is this?" she asked curiously.

"well I wasn't given the specifics, but all I know is that I will have to defend a place," I answered.

she didn't say anything else so I finished my plate and took it to the sink and washed it.

I began to walk out of the house before turning to Scáthach and saying, "I'll be home later, and we'll... make yourself at home."

with that headed to the lake behind Hokage mountain and started to train.

(time skip 10 minutes before the mission starts)

"so are you prepared now for your mission Naruto," Scáthach asked.

"I should be. I made the celestial bronze sword and an extra spear that it recommended, I have my seals, my kunai, I trained my water manipulation so I should be okay," I said recalling all my things.

"good... be careful," she said as she walked over to me, "I... don't want to lose you."

I smiled and hugged her before wiping the tear off my eye.

"in case I don't come back.... just know it was a pleasure meeting you," I said

I saw her smile a bit and I saw the system telling me that I was about to be transported in 10 seconds.

I turned to Scáthach and said, "I'll be back."

being transported sucks. I went to the nearest bin I saw and barfed.

I looked around to see a lot of people on the ground sleeping. I began to walk around when I noticed a boy older than me on the phone.

"Trust me, I'll see you there," he said before putting the device back in his pocket.

"excuse me," I asked trying to get some information about what was happening.

he turned immediately and his eyes showed extreme vigilance. he had a pen in his hand before he looked me over.

"do you know what is happening, why are all these people asleep," I raised my hands and asked.

"Listen, kid, you need to get as far away from here as you can. you see that building over there, hide in there and don't come out," he said pointing to a building across from us.

"Okay," I said as I walked into the building.

I don't know what was happening but something told me it had to do with this man, I could tell he was a good person because I sensed no malicious intent.

I hoped out the window and got to the roof and started watching him from a distance. I saw three white moving things heading in our direction.

I pulled out the spare spear I had and started watching them curiously, I got close enough and hide in a tree, I saw a green woman staring at me with wide eyes.

she looked ready to yell and my eyes and before she could let out any noise I covered her mouth.

"Listen, I'm not a bad guy. I have Information that this place is about to be attacked but I have no information, so please be quiet," I said putting my finger to my mouth.

she hesitantly nodded her head, yes and I slowly let go of her and went back to spying on the black-haired.

I noticed there was a big black dog. I decided to be cautious around that animal.

I looked back at the moving white things and used observe on them.

so it's called a car I will have to keep that in mind. many kids were leaving from the "van" and I counted around forty of them.

I looked at the black-haired kid and noticed that he was looking at the kids like there was something off about one of them.

a blonde-haired girl walked up to the black-haired kid and they started to talk. I listened only to the important stuff and not their private stuff.

a horseman also came and started talking about him being a leader. the people also looked like what he said was the truth.

"Like I told Annabeth on the phone, something bad is going to happen by tonight. some kind of trap. we got to get an audience with Zeus and convince him to defend the city. remember we can't take no for an answer," he said.

"so that's what it was," I said getting everybody's attention.

everyone prepared to fight however I just sat on my branch.

"Who are you," Annabeth asked her grey eyes trying to look for weakness that I might have.

"I have many names I have," I said before counting on my fingers, "demon of the leaf, orphan, monster, some others, but I liked to be called Naruto."

"you're the kid I met earlier," the black-haired kid asked.

"Yup, I never got your name," I said tilting my head.

"um, Percy Jackson," he said.

"so we ganna go get that audience with Zeus, or whoever that is?" I asked him.

"oh, yeah," he said marching towards a tall building.

"I'm sensing a lot of magical concealment," I said following them.

"yeah, Olympus isn't for mortals so they have to hide it with the mist," Annabeth explained.

"Who are you by the way," Percy asked.

"I was someone who was tasked to help you in this war," I said.

that got Annabeth's attention, "how are you going to do that."

"a ninja must never reveal his secrets," I said mysteriously.

we got a keycard from the person behind a counter and took an "elevator".

"how do we know we can trust you," Annabeth asked with caution.

"do you want to make a contract or something," I asked. I mean I could create the seal for it.

"say I swear on the river Styx I will not betray you," she said.

the other kids in the elevator got nervous for a couple of seconds.

"is that how you do things here, alright then? I swear on the river Styx that I won't betray you unless you betray my trust," I said and heard lightning outside.

"that's pretty cool," I said as the elevator door opened.

we walked out and I was met with beautiful palaces. I was admiring the view when I saw one that caught my interest.

the silver one was the best, but I didn't like the bright one. the workshop was nice too, but I could tell there was a lot of security guarding this place.

"What is that," I said pointing at the silver place.

"that lady Artemis palace, she the god of wild animals, the hunt, vegetation, chastity, and childbirth," Annabeth explained.

"she has good taste, I like the silver. I have a lot of metal similar to this too," I said.

"she doesn't like males though, she has a hunt of young women who swore to stay away from men," she said.

we arrived at what the sign said "here" and I saw that Annabeth had a disapproving face.

we continued walking until we were met with lasers following us.

the others were talking about them while I was focused on the trap. I noticed that it was on its lowest setting. I'll have to fix that later.

we arrived at a door that was full of gold and silver. I noticed twelve chairs surrounded by a fire with a woman in it.

I quickly ran over before anyone can react and pulled her out of the fire.

"Are you okay," I said performing medical ninjutsu making sure she was alright.

I noticed that she wasn't hurt or anything and noticed that she had a calm look on her.

"I am fine, young hero," she said with a calm look on her face, "are you alright, my flame isn't something mortals are supposed to grab."

I let go of her and looked at my hands and noticed they were fine, with no burns or anything.

"I'm fine, are you okay being in the fire? let me know I can heal a lot of things," I said.

"lady Hestia," I heard Percy say from behind me.

"Hello again young Perseus," she said turning back to him.

"Now what's your name, I don't recall seeing you at camp," she said stroking my head.

my red hair, which was messy before was now being straightened. I looked at her and used "observe" on her.

"it's rude to stare hero," I heard from under her breath.

she turned to Percy and said, "I see you went through with your plan. you bear the curse of Achilles."

I saw Percy's knees buckle and I quickly arrived and helped him up.

"did you see that," he said?

"see what," I asked.

he looked okay and shook his head to shake off the illusion he saw.

"lady Hestia, we came here on urgent business, we need to see-," he said before getting cut off.

"We know what you need," I heard a voice say from behind us.

"Hello Percy," he said. I could tell that he wasn't pleased about something about him but it wasn't my business.

"Lord Hermes," Percy said as he bowed.

he also said hello to gorge and Martha, which I'm assuming are the snakes.

"We need to talk to Zeus, it's important," Percy said finally getting his voice stable.

I saw how Hermes' eyes grew colder, I didn't like that.

"I am his messenger. may I take his message," he responded.

the group that followed us started shifting, and Percy turned toward them and said to check the defense and city.

I walked up to Percy and put an FTG seal on his shoulder.

"if he has bad intentions, let me know and I'll deal with him," I said as my eyes flickered into red silts and body flicked out of here.

I began to look at the defense that I had been curious about. I noticed that it was out of my reach.

I looked at the wall and began to scale the wall and mess with the system. the person who made this left it weakened on purpose.

I used that to my advantage and upgraded the whole defense. I made it so that it won't target anybody that I met or me. immediately after I set the system back up the lasers were stronger and they scanned all the people there.

everyone who was staring at me earlier looked shocked, however, Percy and Annabeth came out from the throne room.

Percy started looking around and asked, "we're Naruto."

just like how I scaled the building I got back down the same way and backflipped and stook the landing.

"here I am," I said.

"you gotta teach me how to do that," Percy said.

"anytime but right now we have a place to defend," I said.

"right," he said. before he could continue Travis and Conner came rushing telling us the invasion had already started.

"What did they do?" I heard Percy yell " what the hell did they do to my city."

we took the elevator down and check on the people.

"They were like this earlier, I thought it was an illusion," I thought.

"they're not dead, Morpheus put them to sleep," Percy said.

we all met back up and Annabeth got her shield and it displayed the city.

I had to say that this shield was sick with what it could do. I mean it reflects people under the sun, like sign me up.

Conner pointed out a candy shop that he could raid but I thought it was beneath me. *cough totally wasn't on board with him cough*.

but we had the stuff to deal with already. but I was studying the spell that was cast but decided it wasn't worth it.

"alright we're going to hold Manhattan," I heard Percy say.

"Manhattan is huge," said a girl whose name I still don't know.

"We're going to hold it, we have to," Percy said.

"They have boats," a blonde boy said.

"I'll take care of the boats," Percy said as he began to dish out which cabin would defend were.

"the 59th street bridge Clarisse-," he said before he stopped. I could tell that this person was someone strong so I guess I'll have to volunteer, but before I could Annabeth took it.

"Percy you forgot the Lincoln tunnel," a person said.

I sighed. "I got it," I said taking out my spear from the seals I had.

"no offense but who even are you," somebody said.

"I'm the demon of the leaf, the red flash of Konoha although a nickname my father went by, and monster, whose name is Naruto. so pleased to meet you," I said.

I pulled off the seal on my back and took out a bag and threw it to the leaders of the cabins.

"inside those are paper seals and a kunai. if you guys get overwhelmed throw the kunai and I'll help in any way I can. the paper is healing tags that I made myself so go crazy," I said

the blond kids looked excited about the tags. however, I grabbed my spear and threw it narrowly missing the girl in weird clothes.

"wait stop, it's friendly," she said.

"Naruto stopped that's Thalia. she's a friend," Percy said.

"This is the hunters that I told you about earlier," Annabeth explained.

my eyes went wide before taking a bow and apologizing. since they were here they would be spread out over for the defense.

I went to the "Lincoln tunnel" with 6 hunters on my back, but I still made clones to protect the other campers.

"How are we defending this," one of the hunters asked.

"we will, or die trying," the other said.

while they were talking I was placing FTG seals in the tunnel. however, I still wasn't given enough time and I soon heard a lot of footsteps rushing toward us.

"get into position there coming" I yelled and pulled out the spear again.

the arrows came as soon as the yell was heard. I slashed, decapitated, and killed making sure they weren't getting passed me.

finally, I killed all the monsters and I left a clone of me to guard this place. I suddenly felt Percy in danger and I teleported behind him and drop kick the person attacking him.

"Naruto," Percy said.

"fall back. protect the others, I'll hold them off," I said as I prepared myself to charge.

"you'll die," he said. I slapped him however it didn't do anything to him.

"Annabeth is stabbed with poison, take her to the medic," that got him out of his trance.

"be careful of Kronos scythe, and don't get stabbed by it," he said before taking off with Annabeth in his arms.

with that, I looked at the group of thirty-five charging at me.

"let the fun begin," I said pulling out Gáe bolg.
