5 The Test! Part-1
Hikaru looked through his skills window, through the past couple of years he had mainly focused on grinding his physical stats while working on his Sharingan, the gamer system was something that came in clutch.
Unlike other people the gamer system worked in a sense that he had no bottlenecks, as soon as he levels up a skill to max level, either the skill would upgrade, or it would give a max level bonus.
He has been working hard trying to level up his Sharingan, the main idea behind it was to see if he could unlock the Mangekyo without going through the trauma needed. He looked through the rest of his skills...

Hikaru read through the rest of his skill list, he hasn't diversified and mainly focused more on Taijutsu and his Sharingan. Initially both his chakra control and proficiency with the Sharingan were abysmal so it took a while to grind it past its initial hurdles, but after gaining a couple of levels the grinding process was a lot smoother.
He had fought internally against various peers and then against his teacher every day to gain proficiency in Uchiha Interceptor fist, he has leveled up enough that any progress in his taijutsu seems miles away.
'According to Koichi-sensei, I am limited by my physical growth now, once my body grows up some more my physical stats should increase as well.' Hikaru thought, it did make a lot of sense, both Kakashi and Itachi were quick to graduate from the academy and even get promoted to chunin.
'But it was only after they were around 11 years of age that they started showing their true potential... it's really getting really hard to gain any increase in my stats and Koichi-sensei denied my idea of using weights to train.' Hikaru sighed, he became alert as he sensed someone flicker beside him.
"So you ready?" Koichi sensei asked. Hikaru looked at his Sensei, although he wasn't as old, Koichi had just turned 23 this year and he could pass for an old teen. He stood at 5' 5'', a little on the smaller end he didn't look intimidating but he has been a Jonin for almost 3 years now.
"For the academy, Yeah, for the war, No..." Hikaru replied as he turned around and looked at the houses that were approaching now. The Naka Shrine was in an isolated area in the Uchiha clan compound, at times Hikaru wondered why the Uchiha clan initially accepted the relocation request from the village because of the existence of the Naka Shrine.
"Don't worry your little head about things outside your control, just focus on the test tomorrow," Koichi spoke.
"Test, what test?" Hikaru asked confused, he was pretty sure that in conditions of war, Konoha would remove most of the more complicated requirements of entering the academy.
'And since I'm from a clan doesn't that simply exempt me from some basic tests like chakra or something.' Hikaru though.
"Normally you wouldn't have to but this is a war recruitment, you would be given a short exam to test your capabilities and then you would be sorted to join a classroom based on your current skills," Koichi explained.
"...the whole system would be ramped up in such a way that it should take 2 years for even a normal student to graduate to supplement the war front. From your strength I expect you to be sorted in the 4th year class that should graduate in a couple of months."
'...right, the accelerated program, at least I won't have to muddle through the academy for a whole year.' Hikaru thought as he nodded.
"Take a good rest and don't hold back tomorrow, although you are ready to graduate at the moment but your teammates won't be ready until another couple of months at least..." Koichi spoke getting another nod from Hikaru, he sighed as he looked at his student.
He had worked hard during the last year trying to get Hikaru to interact more with the world but he has always been the quiet type. He hadn't known the kid before he was assigned to him by Daisuke-sama so he had no way to compare, but most of the time the kid keeps to himself and minds his own business.
'At least he isn't depressed, I have seen him smiling a couple of times when he works out. Whatever shadow that attack left on him, at least he likes gaining strength rather than working out in fear for his life...' Koichi sighed.
"Alright best of luck brat, don't embarrass me tomorrow!" Koichi spoke and then he flickered away. Hikaru looked at his sensei dashing towards his home and he too ran back home. He looked at his chakra reserves and then chanelled chakra through his eyes as he entered the closet.
Inside the closet there was a small transparent box that had a lot of small insects trapped inside, Hikaru focused on one of the inscet and followed its path as he flew around the box.
'Let's save some chakra for tomorrow's test...'
