Kakashi looked towards the new shinobi, who had just entered the field. 

' Space-time ninjutsu, huh'. His hands inched towards the flying raijin Kunai in his hands. 

' New Shinobi with space-time ninjutsu; he seems quite strong as well; I have to call Minato sensei', Kakashi thought. 

After all, the white-haired Jonin knew his limits; with the three Tomoe Sharingan constantly taking his chakra, he had barely any left to work with, and that too he had consumed most of it fighting the Kiri Shinobi. 

He could see his genins. They were strong; to be able to defeat three chunin while on their first mission was a deed not many could even hope to accomplish. 

While he was quite focused on the fight, he was still shocked at the things those guys were doing. 

' Chakra enhanced strength, perhaps even comparable to Tsunade Senju herself. Even if a fluke, if that boy turns to master it, he will become a shinobi stronger than any'. The silver-haired jonin was also quite confused by the way the Hyuga killed the chunin. 

'Putting your hand in someone's mouth is quite the weird way to kill someone; from the reaction of the chunin, it seems to be a fire release jutsu. The skill required for such much would be immense'. 

Monsters

That's what the genins he had were, and they were quite important for the safety of the leaf. Kakashi had promised himself that he would never let his teammates die, and he intended to complete that promise.

'Minato sensei, I am calling for you now; this situation is quite difficult'.

"Not so quick, Kakashi," the masked man rushed towards Kakashi, his kunai already in the air, rushing towards the jonin's neck. 

Kakashi had to let go of touching the flying raijin kunai and instead focus on blocking the attack with his sword. 

It is at this moment that Obito reached kakashi.

'Fast, how is he so fast?' Kakashi didn't know who he was facing, but up until now, he had never faced a shinobi this fast. No one other than Minato sensei himself. 

"Do you wish to die, Shinobi?" Kakashi muttered as he slashed his sword at the rushing Shinobi. 

'Perhaps a fool, why would one rush towards a sword after all?'.

The sword came down on the shinobi, and under the eyes of all present, it passed through him. 

Intangibity

The ability gifted by Kamui to Obito was in effect. As the man passed through Kakashi, he became tangible once again, not to attack the shocked Shinobi but to swipe at the flying Raijin Kunai.

Kakashi quickly distanced himself from the unkown shinobi. 

"Saying you will kill me while simultaneously summoning your teacher is quite the cowardly way, isn't it, the genius of the leaf village?" The single sharingan, revolving in his eyes, gazed towards the silver-haired Jonin in contempt. He threw the Kunai away from the fight.

"Then again, not much can be expected from you anyway; you are still as weak as ever," the man concluded. 

"You speak too much." Kakashi was already rushing at the masked man, his blade inches away from Obito.

ting

Blades clashed once again as Mangetsu joined the fight.

"You will die today, Kakashi Hatake; I assure you that," the kiri ninja shouted towards his opponent. "I will make sure you know ugh."

squelch 

A hand pierced through the Kiri ninja. "Who told you that you could participate in our battle?"

"You, why? Don't you want to kill him as well?" Mangetsu's weak voice muttered as he looked back in shock. He hadn't expected the man to attack him, which is why he let his gaurd down and not turn into water. His urge to kill the shinobi of the leaf village was enough to disregard such thoughts. He had situations like this in the past as well, where a new Shinobi joined in. After all, an enemy of an enemy is your friend, right? However, the hand in his chest spoke otherwise.

"You disgust me." 

With that, the bloody hands of the masked man tore themselves out of the kiri shinobi.

thud

The body of Mangetsu fell to the ground. dead. His eyes paled as his last thought was one of grief and betrayal. 

"Now let's start our battle once again, Kakashi." The man roared as he rushed at Jonin.

...

"Kuroko, what do we do? Can we help in this battle? We can't let Captain Kakashi die like this."

The hyuga looked towards the one-sided battle that was going on.

The mask-wearing man was too much for Kakashi. As was quite apparent with the way kakashi was being ragdolled around the field. 

' Obito, how? If this wasn't in the plot, then how did this happen? I don't know what happened at Kushina's birth, just that Naruto was born safe. Why would he try to kill Kakashi now, if that is even his motive?

Kakashi was already close to his last reserve of chakra; cuts piled all over the once-proud jonin. His left leg was broken, and his face was beaten blue. 

The man was barely surviving. The taijutsu of the opponent was too much for Kakashi. His Chidori didn't work against the opponent, as he kept getting intangible. 

They could see it; Kakashi knew he was going to die. This wasn't an opponent he could face.

"Itachi, there, Use it again, that speed of yours, can you?" The uchiha was determined.

"I can, maybe." 

Both the genin looked toward one another. 

It was time for a genin to interfere in a fight between a jonin and a kage-ranked shinobi.

"It's just like I thought; you are as weak as ever; you can never even hope to save anyone," Obito said, looking towards his defeated rival. 

There was once a time when he used to admire him for his strength and courage, but now all that was left was contempt and hatred. 

He can't save anyone; he can't complete any promise, not his teacher or Kakashi. 

They couldn't even save Rin. 

' I will now be taking it back, Kakashi. You don't deserve it,' Obito thought as his hands tore through the sharingan in Kakashi's eyes.

Puchi

His own Mangekyou Sharingan, He quickly put the eye back in his empty socket, with his hashirama cells already adjusting to the eye. 

That was when he felt it—the completeness of it all. His chakra rose through the roof. His kamui timer got even bigger while he got a new ability to affect the space around others. 

A new piece of information entered his head. Something he was capable of doing now. 

Susanoo

"Now all I can give you is death." His hands were raised towards his ex-best friend when he saw that a young Itachi was holding the Kunai he had thrown away. 

The flying raijin. 

As far as he was concerned, Obtio could still make out what he said. 

"Help us, Hokage Sama," he said as he rushed the chakra in the kunai. 

Swish

The fourth hokage, in his flesh, had entered the battlefield. His eyes contorted in silent rage.

"You shouldn't have touched my student, Madara." He spoke calmly.
