6 Graduation

We all decided to keep Kushina company during the time she took to master the shadow clone. So for the first three weeks of our last year in the academy we all went there in person and had to endure the absolutely mind-numbing bore of lectures that we had learned ages ago.

The only good thing about these 3 weeks were the antics Kushina and Kira got up to.

Kushina was very much into pranking everybody while Kira was excited to have another girl join us whom she could also compete against.

This led to a mini prank war between the two who competed over who could pull off the most elaborate prank and who could prank the highest ranking ninja.

Finally they also competed who could manage to prank me first as I had thwarted several of their attempts to prank me with barely any effort. Living for so long does have its advantages.

Kushina started by pranking some of our fellow classmates who had bullied her before.

It was hilarious when one of the larger boys came into the classroom with bright pink hair one morning.

Not wanting to be outdone Kira decided to prank one of the genin siblings of our classmates.

When the genin came to the academy one afternoon to pick up her younger brother, Kira had Hachi sneak behind her and then she used the transformation jutsu to transform herself into their mother and started angrily scolding him.

The poor genin was so startled that she took a step back and tripped right over Hachi only to fall on her ass where Kira had Hachi place a water balloon full of fast acting glue before.

Finally the poor genin had to cut herself loose using a kunai and use the transformation jutsu to hide the big hole in the bottom of her pants on the way home.

Kushina as the self proclaimed queen of pranks obviously couldn't let this go and decided to go for our chuunin teacher next.

As the Uzumaki princess, Kushina had been taught sealing all the way to intermediate level before coming to Konoha and was continuing her fuinjutsu studies at Mito's place every evening.

In her quest to prank Misaki, Kushina decided to use the blackboard.

She managed to seal the board in such a way that it would always spell 'You are free to go. Have a nice day. 😉' ten seconds after Misaki was done writing.

Coupled with a soundproof and mild paralysis seal around the teaching area this gave the entire class three days of unexpected holidays until Misaki finally managed to find the seals behind the blackboard and around her desk, which would rearrange her writing and stop her or her voice from reaching the students.

Seeing as the next step would be a toukubetsu jonin, Kira chose to still gave it a try but after failing almost 20 time she finally gave up.

In the end Kushina still decided to go for a jonin just for the fun of it but that is a story for another time.

In their effort to pull pranks on me, they had started off with the usual small pranks like trying to get me to sit on a whoopy cushion or swapping my shampoo with bright green hair colouring.

When these all failed, Kushina started to incorporate fuinjutsu in her pranks but thanks to my lessons with Mito I was very familiar with seals. That and my previous life's experiences made it easy for me to spot any traps she laid for me, though I have to admit her talent in sealing and her persistence are impressive indeed.

I bet that I will get caught in a prank within the next few years if I am not extremely careful.

I actually quite enjoy our little competition as it teaches me how to spot and dismantle all kinds of traps while at the same time it teaches Kira and Kushina stealth and trap making.

Also Kushina and my proficiency in sealing has had a marked improvement since she started using them in her pranks.

-Time-skip no jutsu-

It was finally time for our graduation exam.

After a ridiculously easy (for Toshiro) written test the teacher asked us to use the three basic body jutsu as well as a demonstration of our shuriken and kunai jutsu.

Finally we had to last for one minute in a taijutsu spar against a chuunin instructor who was obviously told to hold back.

Both Minato and I managed to defeat our examiner within the allowed time which impressed him a lot. Especially Minato as he was just a clan-less orphan and not a noble clan heir like me.

After that we all received our headbands and were told to come back tomorrow to be divided into three man teams and assigned to a jonin sensei.

The next day we all arrived at the academy together in our real bodies. As today we would only be assigned our new squads we only had to be here at half past ten.

So we used the extra time in the morning for some light practice in our usual place after which we all put our headbands on and made our way to the classroom to be assigned.

Inoichi, Choza, Kushina and Minato wore them in the way they were intended to on their forehead.

Shikaku on the other hand wore his on his upper arm, Kira used hers as a belt and I decided to replace my scarf with my headband.

After the rest of the class arrived it took another ten minutes before Misaki came to our class for the final time.

"Today I am here to congratulate you all for graduating from the academy as well as to assign you your squads and jonin senseis.

First up team one led by ....

Next we have team six led by Sakumo Hatake. Team members are Kushina Uzumaki, Hiro Kurama and Toshiro Senju"

Hearing our names called for the same team Kushina and I high fived while Minato looked slightly depressed for not being in the same team as Kushina.

"Next we have team seven led by Jiraya. Team members are Minato Namikaze, Rina Aburame and Kira Inuzuka."

Hearing that they will be in the same team as well, Minato, Kira and Hachi(her dog) do a triple high five as Misaki continues assigning squads.

"... And finally we have team ten led by Sasuke Sarutobi (OC). Team members are Inoichi Yamanaka, Shikaku Nara and Choza Akimichi.

You can wait here for your senseis to pick you up. Good luck."

With that done Misaku left and we started waiting for our senseis.

After a few teams left with their senseis, a tall brown haired man with a goatee and a scar across his right cheek enters. He wore the standard Konoha jonin attire and had a bo staff strapped to his back and said "Team ten follow me" as he left with a slow shunshin (body flicker jutsu).

The Ino-Shika-Cho trio waved goodbye and followed him at the same speed.

A few minutes and a few teams getting picked up later a silver haired man in standard jonin attire entered and said "Meet me on the roof team six" before leaving with a very fast shunshin that even I was unable to follow with my eyes, though I could still track his chakra using my chakra sense.

After nodding Kira and Minato goodbye, Kushina and I opened a window and leisurely walked up the side of the building.

As we reached the roof Sakumo sensei slightly raised his eyebrows at our casual wall climbing but patiently waited for Hiro to arrive before commenting.

A few minutes later, an out of breath Hiro finally arrived after climbing the stairs and I could immediately tell that his physical condition was terrible.

"Sorry ..huff huff.. for being late ..huff huff.."

"Don't worry about it. You did your best." assured Sakumo sensei with a kind smile.

"Why don't we all introduce ourselves and tell us a bit about yourselves.

I'll start. My name is Sakumo Hatake. I am a Konoha jonin and I specialize in kenjutsu (sword fighting). I love my wife and my dream is to protect the smile and happiness of all my comrades.

Why don't you go next?" he said while pointing at me

"I'm Toshiro Senju. I am good at water and wind ninjutsu and I can also handle a sword. I like sleeping and training and my dream is to reconcile with an old friend."

"All right very good. You're next red."

With a nod Kushina shouted enthusiastically "I'm Kushina Uzumaki. I like my friends and ramen and my dream is to be the first female Hokage dattebane."

Last Hiro introduced himself with a shy and quiet voice "My name is Hiro Kurama. I am very good at genjutsu thanks to my awakened kekkei genkai but my body is very weak and my stamina is very low. I like reading and writing stories. My dream is to be the best genjutsu specialist in Konoha. Please look after me."

With his introduction finished Hiro bowed to us.

"Very good. You all have great dreams and goals. That's it for today. Meet me at eight tomorrow morning in training ground 6. Dismissed." is all Sakumo sensei said before using his incredible shunshin to disappear.
