Chapter 57: The Lord's wide range ramification

The ceremony of becoming a Lord was quite grand. Every cultist; a hundred thousand Cultists gathered around the capital of the Cult. After that Cheon Mujin did the ritual where he lit up the sacred fire symbolizing his full pledge allegiance to the Cult and its cause. There he showed his Sky Demon Sword in front of everyone legitimizing his claim to the throne.

People questioned where Cheon Yeowun, his subordinates and the three elders were and Cheon Mujin gave them a vague answer. He told them that even after knowing he's the legitimate Lord they still disobeyed him and bared their sword at him, and thus he exiled them without prosecution.

After such, Cheon Mujin started replacing the three empty council elder positions that Huan Yi, Sama Yi, and Yeon Mun Hwa left behind by his own people.

Once again a meeting was ensued by the Second Cheon Ma, Cheon Mujin. But interestingly enough he called everyone with any form of power within the Cult.

In the Grand hall of the Main Building of the Sky Demon Order, Cheon Mujin stood in front of everyone. But strangely enough, there was a huge slab of what looks like a stone covered with a silk fabric in the hall near the Lord's throne.

"Loyal Cultist!" He spoke. Even though his words were spoken in soft gentle tones his words reverberated through every corner of the hall reaching everyone's ears as if he spoke near them.

"I have received the will of Cheon Ma. And Cheon Ma wills our Cult to return back to its olden days; the Glorious days where we are the most powerful force in the entire Martial world." Everyone was taken aback by his words. The olden days of the Sky Demon Order was nothing sort of a fantasy inside the mind of the current generation Cultist.

They did hear from their ancestors that the Sky Demon Order used to be the most powerful force in the entire world, even making the Imperial Family ask for their help in establishing the empire.

Cheon Mujin disappeared from his position, then he appeared right in front of the huge object that was covered by the silk fabric. Then he pulled the silk fabric revealing a 10 meters tall sapphire monolith with a bunch of engravings on it. As if it was an instruction or a manual.

"Engraved on this sapphire is Cheon Ma's will. I discovered this slab when I inherited the Sky Demon Sword and the original Sword Force of the Sky Demon." He said to them.

Basically what is written on the stone sapphire was the old structure of the Cult (or as Cheon Mujin's makes it so)

It is called the Sovereign's Dominion System where the entire power of the entire Sky Demon Order lies in one individual. The Lord, or as the sapphire monolith says, the Supreme Sovereign.

Basically this is the sum up version of it:

However, to prevent betrayal and ensure the Sovereign's longevity and prosperity, the system incorporates several distinctive features:

Ancestral Council: The Sovereign's advisory council, composed of venerable elders and respected martial sages, serves as the voice of wisdom and tradition. While they offer counsel and guidance, they possess no decision-making power that could challenge the Sovereign's authority. Their role is to uphold the sanctity of the Sovereign's rule and safeguard the Cult's ancient customs.

Guardians of Allegiance: A specialized group of loyalists, known as the Guardians, are trained from childhood in absolute devotion to the Sovereign. They serve as the personal protectors and enforcers of the Sovereign's will, ensuring that no dissent or betrayal can take root within the Cult. Their unwavering loyalty is instilled through rigorous mental and physical training, binding them to the Sovereign for life. (These are the Great Guardian, Left Guardian and Right Guardian.)

Prophecy of Unity: A deeply ingrained cultural belief that the unity of the Cult is tied to the prosperity and guidance of the Sovereign. Propagated through ancient scriptures and ceremonial rituals, the Prophecy of Unity reinforces the idea that any attempt to undermine or betray the Sovereign will result in catastrophic consequences for the entire realm. This belief fosters a collective mindset of reverence and awe for the Sovereign's divinely ordained leadership.

Ritual of Ascendancy: A sacred ceremony performed upon the coronation of a new Sovereign, signifying the formal transfer of power and authority from the previous Sovereign to the chosen successor. The Ritual of Ascendancy is steeped in mysticism and tradition, symbolizing the continuation of the divine mandate through the ages. It serves as a reminder to the populace of the continuity and stability offered by the unbroken line of Sovereigns.

Through the careful interplay of these elements, the Sovereign's Dominion maintains a delicate balance of power, ensuring the unchallenged authority of the Sovereign while fostering a culture of reverence and loyalty that permeates every level of society.

"This is the will of Cheon Ma!"

"So today! I will abolish the current system and replace it as Cheon Ma wills it!" Cheon Mujin shouted. He infused his words with a huge amount of force, making it as tyrannical as possible. Everyone fell to their knees as they all shouted in unison; with reverence and fervent loyalty.

"Cheon Ma wills it!"

"Cheon Ma wills it!"

"Cheon Ma wills it!"

"Cheon Ma wills It!"

As the entire cult shouted in unison, a small smile appeared within Cheon Mujin's lips. Seemingly satisfied he got back to his seat and sat down with regal posture.
