Chapter 24

The incident at USJ did garner media attention. It is obvious as it one of the major institutions from where Pro Heroes graduate from. It would be like if some terrorist attacked Harvard in my old world.

As we were in class they were talking about everything that happened and kids being kids how cool it was or how they didn't get to stand out much in front of the camera.

As all this chatter was going around in class, Aizawa walked in. Everyone was happy seeing him unharmed as they weren't able to see or talk to him after the battle considering All Might was in his true form.

"Quiet down, the fight isn't over yet. The UA Sports Festival is here". Hearing that it was a normal school activity rather than another attack by the villains did relax them.

Everyone was excited about the event but were also apprehensive considering we just went through a villain attack. The reason for holding such an event after the incident was so to show that UA wasn't weak.

Honestly in my opinion they shouldn't conduct such an event right after the villain attack. UA Sports Festival is akin to Olympics in Japan. That means everyone would be tuning in to watch the next generation of heroes perform.

That also means providing essential data to villains. I don't know if these guys ever thought from this perspective or what. The main purpose of the festival is to get noticed by the Pro Heros who would be present during the festival so that we could join their agency and start our Hero career.

So you could say that this event would be a major checkpoint for all us who want to be Pro Heros. Everyone was pumped for this event as this would be the platform on which they would showcase to the world that they have what it takes to be a Hero.

The day went on normally as I hung around Izuku and Eijiro Mezo and Ojiro. After the lunch period students from other departments were crowding at the door. They were basically scouting us in advance to see the 'Class which survived a villain attack'.

Bakugo being as explosive as he always is showed his superior than thou personality to them.

"I came to see what the famous Class A was like but you seem pretty arrogant", said a fairly tall young man with messy, indigo-colored hair that flares out in large tufts around his head.

Hitoshi Shinso's quirk is a pretty useful quirk I have to say. Especially considering that this is an anime world and people here can't help but respond 'passionately' to whatever that is said to them, they would be very susceptible to this quirk as it was shown in the fight between Izuku and Shinso.

Even after knowing about the quirk's effect canon Izuku still couldn't keep his mouth shut and was effected by the quirk. If it wasn't for plot armour he would have been disqualified in the first match itself.

I wonder why wasn't his quirk ever stolen as I am pretty sure that a quirk like his would very well aid All For One in his conquest.Maybe he was simply lucky that he wasn't targeted by All For One as he might not have time to sweep through the entire country's quirk registry to know about it.

Well looks like Shinso is done with his 'declaration'. Geez, aren't these guys way too worked up for such things. Along with the guy who was the rival of Eijiro things were just too much unnecessary drama for me.

So I just walked off from there but obviously people can't keep their mouth shut when someone is minding their own business.

"Oii where do you think you are going, are you ignoring me!?" the steel kid said to me.

"Rather than wasting time here babbling about doing this or that you should show you resolve in the festival. Otherwise all you are doing right now is talking. So don't waste my time in these meaningless things" saying my piece I walk off as my mind is dominated by thoughts of gaining strength.

As of right now the way to upgrade my mental facilities would not be possible in the two weeks that are given to us. So I can only focus on the physical side of things.

I have already scanned the Nomu when I was fighting it. When I first felt how much of a physical monster the Nomu was I had instructed Nano to scan it's body. With this and one more thing I would be force to be reckoned with like All Might atleast in the physical area.

I also should pay attention to the happenings in the underworld. I need to take care of Eri as well as I can't just leave her to her fate knowing I can do something about it. I would need proper planning and to do things by remaining low-key and not attract any attention to my alter ego whatsoever.

Now that I have come in the radar of the League of Villains things would surely be much more different than it was in canon. I need to keep on increasing my strength if I have to defeat foes such as All For One and Shigaraki.

I also need to keep on training my quirk extract all the potential it has as much as possible. I have lots to do in these two weeks.

Everyone in our class were also training for the sports event. I sometimes helped Eijiro Mezo and Ojiro with their training whenever I had time. Atleast their hand to hand combat was improving due to me.

Izuku was training with All Might. I am sure he would come talk to me as I have come to know the secret of One For All.

Overall these two weeks should be properly utilized to gain even more strength and to hone my abilities even further so that I wouldn't be in a similar situation as that of USJ.
