chapter 5

*morning came*.

as me and Amber sit in the living room drinking coffee and eating breakfast, watching the news, ya know everyday normal stuff.

then as I finish getting ready for the day. I decided to go to work anyways. I kiss Amber goodbye, and then I walk out the front door. my thoughts raising of what to do to protect Amber. I can't just kill the demons after her, well I could but that would cause me to have more enemies than allies, and that's no good.

then as I make my way to the entrance to my work " the police department". I am greeded by my co-worker/ best friend " who by the way knows I'm a demon" as she walks up to me she pounces on me yelling "ANDREW YOUR FINALLY HERE AGAIN". I REPLY" AH, it's only been 20 seconds and I'm already being tackled" I laugh, typical Lin at it again.

" I know I know, but I MISSED u. it was boring yesterday after you left work." Lin exlaims.

"alright every body get back to work we have jobs to do, good morning Andrew San. how was your evening." Kate says while clapping her hands twice. I reply in a low whisper" ehh it was good". as I make my way over to my office, the phone rigns * ring ring* .

I pick up the phone only to here loud screaming on the other line. I couldn't really understand the ladies on the other side but the words " please she's hurting me, stop bitting."

the other line goes quiet... " he... hello, ma'am are you o...ok." no no answer . I put the phone down and sigh. whatever that was it's too late to help now.

*evening rolls around*

my shift is over . as I start to walk home, Lin follows from behind trying to jumpscare me like allways. I stop " Lin I know it's you , come one. let's just walk home in peace. " Lin sighs and says " ah man really. found me out again ha. "

as time passes i eventually make it home safely. I open the front door. Amber washing dishes listening to Paramore. she turns to face me whith a play full smile on her face and says " yay , your home." * so cute* I blush as we both hug.

*later that evening*

everything was calm and peaceful. no mysterious demons no kidnappings. just a normal evening. i brush my teeth before heading off to bed , Amber follows and we both head off to sleep. "see ya in the morning" I say. she replies " see ya in da morning, have sweet dreams". * I lightly smile before drifting off in a dream.*.
