chapter 4

later that night while Amber was asleep, and I was reading, I heard a crashing noise coming from the kitchen. I get up off of the bed very carefully to make sure I don't wake up Amber.

I walk into the kitchen and say" who's there come out and show yourself". as a dark silhouetted person reveals themself they say" Andrew, I have come for Amber. you know the rules she can no longer be with you." as I sigh I walk over to the burglar, put my hand on their shoulder and say " I do understand the consequences of her knowing. but please just give her 2 days."

as a burglar agreed we both bowed to each other and they disappeared. as Amber jolts out of bed she says "honey w ho were you talking to?" as I turned around to look at Amber. I taken these last moments of the time I will ever see her again.

" I was just on the phone with my boss they said I have two days off of work as a thank-you of doing my job very well." as Amber embraces me in a hug she says" that's amazing. we should celebrate tomorrow. come on let's go back to bed."

as I follow Amber to our bed I lay down next to her. as we hold each other tight I start falling to sleep slowly.
