Vespera chuckled softly, "Well, my dear, I'm a Succubus demonoid. It's in my nature to embrace such encounters, and I've also taken a liking to Astra in my unique way. As for him, it's all about helping him overcome his past traumas and hesitations, making him feel more at ease with himself."

Anastasia froze when she saw Vespera in her human form "Wh-what? B-but isn't a demonoid from The Forbidden Valley (Gradience) that endangers Coloria? And pretty sure he killed some of your kind before so why or how?"

Vespera chuckled softly, "You see, not all of us demonoids from the Forbidden Valley are hostile or aligned with the creatures from there. I had my reasons to approach Astra. I intend to create an alliance with him and his organization, rather than working against Coloria. I don't hold any grudge against him for what he may have done in the past."

Anastasia sighs in relief "Yet it's weird you really don't hold a grudge nor treat him like some person to vent intimacy on or so I read and stories about Succubi…"

Vespera smiled, "Well, as a succubus, I do have a unique perspective on relationships. My interactions with Astra aren't driven by malice or the need to drain his energy. Instead, it's about building trust and understanding. I have my own reasons for seeking this alliance, and Astra and I have found a mutual connection, even if it's not romantic."

Vespera smiles "and if ever he sees me as a romantic I know he would always see to treat you as his only one... Besides" winks "You are someone I should thank since if you aren't influencing him lately he would have not formed such a special new faction in secret and killed a lot of people more than what he is known for.."

Anastasia nodded, "I do care about Astra deeply, and I've been a part of his journey for a long time. If you're helping him in a way that ultimately benefits the greater good, then I can appreciate that." She paused and looked at Vespera, "Just make sure you don't hurt him, okay? He's been through a lot, and he deserves happiness and peace."

Vespera chuckles "Hurt or pain aren't my features huhu.." she says before uttering "Still in just 9 days since The Order and Former Equinox gone? Quite the fast pace of you look at it that way it seems…I guess I understand what he meant that he desired being just Like everyone else.." Anastasia's head tilts "Really? Odd, but I do recalll he told me meeting me did spark an interest that deep down he disliked how he became yet can't deny it.." Vespera can't share why Astra mentioned that to her (due to a fight) "anyways, it's your turn…what makes such a plain peaceful innkeeper help him slowly reconnect with his emotions he lost for so long?"

Anastasia smiled, "Well, we met under unique circumstances. Astra sought refuge at my inn, and we developed a connection. I could see the pain and burden he carried, and I wanted to be there for him. Over time, we became close, and I genuinely cared for him. It's not just about helping him with his emotions but also being a part of his life and supporting him in any way I can." She paused, "Astra is a remarkable person, and I want to be there for him, no matter what."

Vespera spoke "Well anyways cannot do I need to rent one of your rooms in the inn? Since I am not an exception like Astra and we just recently met"

Anastasia nodded, "Of course, you're welcome to stay at my inn. I have a room available for you. Just let me know how long you plan to stay, and we can arrange it for you."

Vespera spoke "One night is fine since I just need a break after the cult I am from is destroyed..and now this new alliance needs proper rest to focus"

Anastasia smiled, "That's perfectly fine. I'll prepare a room for you. Just follow me, and I'll show you to your accommodations. If you need anything else during your stay, don't hesitate to ask." She led Vespera to a comfortable room in the inn.

Vespera blinks "But I need to pay rent for stay right? I am Not poor you know and you are an innkeeper.." (yet maybe that's why Astra is protective of her not being involved in his other life..so pure)

Anastasia waved her hand dismissively, "Oh, no need to worry about that. You're Astra's guest, and it's on the house. We're more than happy to provide you with a place to rest. If you need anything else, just let me know." She then left Vespera to her room to rest.

Vespera giggles "I think I am starting to be amused to like you Anastasia right? Hehe..quite generous" yawns "well goodnight and bless your hard work for the usual guest that rents"

Anastasia smiled, "Goodnight, Vespera. Sleep well, and if you need anything during your stay, don't hesitate to ask. Take care." With that, she left Vespera to rest for the night.
