Two Red Level Soul Rings: Two Emperors, The Ultimate Ice and Snow (2)

The ground Sei Meio was standing on suddenly shook, and he floated into the air, supported by a jade-green light. On the other hand, the Ice Jade Empress Scorpion's main body rapidly flew over to his body. It's beauty enraptured even he, however it was a different form what Skydream felt which was romantic desire, his was a curious admiration of this interesting specimen.

An intense jade-green light wildly fluctuated towards the tip of her tail. When the jade-green light turned dark-green, the Ice Empress suddenly swung her tail, viciously stabbing it into Sei Meio's tailbone.

Sei Meio's body shook violently for a bit. He only felt as if his tailbone had instantly been run through by something. That sharp and pointed object pierced through his skin, muscles and flesh, and buried itself firmly into his skeleton.

But after fidgeting a bit, he was as still and steady as a steel pillar, despite the sudden rush of pain, he still didn't make so much as a sound. He clenched his teeth as he held in his scream despite this being lesser than the pain he had previously endured, it still hurt like hell, the only difference was he could confidently get through it now.

An icy blue-white light appeared from his skin the dormant snow empress's bone had a reaction to the ice empress, The ice empress's bone was suppressed as it cancelled out a large amount of the pain the soul bone of the Ice sky Snow lady caused, but they were on two different levels, the torso bone was suppressed and mutually suppressed a part of the Snow Empress's Fleshly Soul Bone. But the Soul Empress's bone still had a lot of energy left over after suppressing the ice empress's soul bone.

So Sei Meio wasn't out of the woods at all.

By the time the jade-green light covered all the bones in Sei Meio's torso, the jade-green light on the Ice Jade Empress Scorpion's body began to dim.

The soul bone created by the Ice Empress' main body was naturally the quintessential part of her strength. Though this process of reconstruction was painful, the future effects of this soul bone would vastly exceed that of Sei Meio's other soul bones. This would bring enormous benefits to his growth. It would be second only to his Snow Empress soul bone.

Though the Skydream Iceworm was a million year soul beast, in terms of who could give Sei Meio the most well-rounded benefits, he would definitely lose out to the Ice Empress, not to mention the snow empress.

The Ice Empress had a noble bloodline, and she was a natural monarch. Moreover, she had cultivated for such a long time. Thus, the increase in strength she could give Him would definitely be a comprehensive one.

Similarly, the snow empress could offer a higher tier of benefits as its bloodline was even nobler than the ice empress.

Naturally, Sei Meio could only withstand an extremely miniscule amount of either of their total strengths, so a large amount of it had to be sealed away. As Sei Meio's tolerance increased, the amount of strength she released would progressively increase.

However, Sei Meio's potential would reach an extremely astonishing degree. To many soul masters, increasing one's soul power during the later soul ranks would prove to be very challenging. However, the issue of having insufficiently strong soul skills would absolutely never occur to him. As for what he would grow to be in the future, even the Skydream Iceworm and the Ice Jade Empress Scorpion didn't know.

Their method of creating God was completely unprecedented, even on the entire Douluo Continent. It had to be known that the Skydream Iceworm had used a full hundred thousand years of time to complete the basic preparations of this plan. Even if he had easily fused with Sei Meio, he had actually sealed up his spiritual origin and divided it into many pieces.

This process had been completed at a much earlier time. Moreover, there were even more minute preparations he had to make. Even now, he was giving instructions and assistance to the Ice Empress while she fused with Sei Meio by relying on his powerful spiritual power. All of this had to be accomplished for the fusion to succeed. But just like Sei Meio he had increased experience from with the Snow Empress.

Still though, it was far easier than what occurred with the Snow lady especially since she was willing, no in a way only the tension was high with the snow lady as she had literally no resistance he could control her to carry out the process efficiently.

In the beginning, the jade-green lights were merely strands of string that covered his spine, sternum, and ribs. As time passed, however, these strands of jade-green light started gradually expanding and widening, creating an outline of Sei Meio's entire skeleton.

There was also an intense reaction from his skin due to the snow empress

"Snowy...." Hyotei mumbled. Naturally at her level she was clear about what was happening.

The pain was immense but a calm voice was all that Sei Meio uttered, " After all that.....something like this.....isn't worthy of me screaming in pain."

Seeing his astonishing willpower the Ice Empress was in disbelief even Skydream was similar although he had already seen it.

He felt as he was stabbed by tens of thousands of blades. Immense agony fiercely beamed from every single corner of his body, and made him almost let out a painful whine. His entire body started to shake tremendously, as his vision also became blurry, until it completely became a shade of crimson red.

Nevertheless, he didn't let out a peep.

"Is he really human?"

"Afraid so."

"Is he actually feeling anything, why does he look unaffected?"

"The answer to that, you know better than I do."

"..."

"He's truly an astonishing human, no wonder even she agreed."

Skydream was overjoyed by Ice Empress joining but little did he know that 60% of the convincing was all due to the presence of the Icesky Snowlady. The remainder was like he had deduced, she was nearing her end and would have died soon.

The indescribable pain continued. It was a pain that no real word could express, a pain that far surpassed a human's capability to endure. This pain continued and continued on…. however his will remained unbroken and unshaken.

Terrifying pain made all the nerves in Sei Meio's body fiercely spasm, but in his heart was a haze of tranquility…. or even, excitement!

After nearly three full hours had passed, the Ice Empress' exhausted voice rang out slowly, "Skydream."

"I'm here. How are you feeling?" The Skydream Iceworm asked, deeply concerned.

The Ice Empress snorted, "I'm fine. Although a fella like you is a piece of trash, you have good eyesight." She later added in her mind 'No wonder Snowy also agreed to this God making plan of his.'

Skydream blushed a little," Yes, Let's quickly start fusing your martial soul to the snow empress's martial soul, you'll be his second soul ring. Now that you've discarded the most important origin of your body, your spiritual origin will get damaged if we waste too much time."

"En. Protect me." To Sei Meio, the crucial moment had already passed. After fusing with the Ice Jade Empress Scorpion's torso bone, he had crossed a difficult level. With the torso bone as a foundation, his coming fusion with the Ice Jade Empress' martial soul and soul ring would be much easier.

This would mainly rely on the Ice Empress and the Skydream Iceworm's strength in order to seal her energy and fuse it with Sei Meio. Thus, the most important task for the Ice Empress had just begun. Fusing her martial soul with Sei Meio while protecting her spiritual origin in order to not have it completely assimilated with Sei Meio so she could maintain her intelligence was the foundation of her plan to create God and attain immortality.

She had never thought about a situation like this before, and it was simply impossible for her to have done any experiments in the past. It would be a lie to say that she wasn't nervous. If she did anything wrong, she would lose her sense of self, and her consciousness would disappear eternally.

"Don't worry, I'll help you out. Ice Empress, I truly do like you. Don't worry, for the sake of my own happiness, I'll do all I can to help you. Come, let's start."

Strangely, the Ice Empress didn't make a retort this time around. Right after that, a thick halo of white light blossomed from Sei Meio's body, sweeping upwards and covering his body within it. The crystal-like sphere on the Ice Jade Empress Scorpion's body dissolved quietly, turning into threads of icy mist that entered Sei Meio's body through his skin.

Sei Meio's presence quickly vanished within the icy mist. In addition to that, the Ice Empress underneath him also vanished without a trace. He had closed off his senses and the bastard actually took a nap at this moment, his thought was: they didn't need him so why bother. This was laziness as well as trust.

If an ordinary human were to have witnessed this scene, they would definitely have assumed that the Ice Empress' body had melted. To the Ice Empress, however, this wasn't a melting, but an combustion of her own body. Only by burning the origin of her body could she create an effect like this. Otherwise, with the toughness of her body, even the strongest weapons in the entire world couldn't damage her easily.

A golden halo of light appeared noiselessly, drawing the white halo of light into Sei Meio's body. The Skydream Iceworm was actually doing all he could to help the Ice Empress. While protecting Sei Meio's spiritual sea, he even protected the Ice Empress' spiritual origin. Furthermore, he was even helping the Ice Empress suppress her own power. He was multitasking, doing all three things at once. Due to the Skydream Iceworm's powerful spiritual power, the Ice Empress' fusion with Sei Meio went much more smoothly. However, this process still took a long time.

Meanwhile the insides of Sei Meio were shining brightly with a watery blue mystical feel. The Mysterious Water Pill contained several water attributed herbs whose efficiency were massively increased by the fusion of the ice empress with her ice attributed torso nine and her power of ultimate ice, this caused the medicinal effects to increase by several foods as they circulated within Sei Meio. His skin was emitting a blue misty glow concealed by the bright side green glow.

************

The cold wind was still as bitingly cold as ever. Large snowflakes covered everything as far as the eye could see within the icy plain.

Suddenly, a soft 'Pu' rang out. An arm jutted out from the thick snow, and right after that, a completely naked body crawled slowly up from underneath.

The contours of his body were extremely well-defined, and although his muscles weren't especially big, they were flawless and they gave off an icy light that flowed with a mysterious rhythm. After his white, gem-like skin dug out from the snow, it radiated with a unique luster due to the parallelism created by the surrounding white.

As he slowly opened his eyes, four different colors instantly flashed through his light blue pupils. It was gold at first, but then it turned jade-green, then it had a ghastly grey colour before settling on a somewhat terrifying white that completely covered the original blue.

A strange scene then occurred. The falling snowflakes suddenly moved away from a ten-feet radius around his body the moment they approached him.

Unexpectedly, a clean patch of earth around him had appeared within the world of ice and snow.

As the white within his eyes slowly faded away, an abstruse light-blue gradually resurfaced within them. His pupils had changed color four times; this was quite miraculous.

He clenched his fists tightly, and immediately, his taut muscles released a sensation filled with power. He suddenly leapt into the air, reaching an astounding forty five feet. When he reached the peak of his jump, he let out a long, resounding roar towards the sky.

The rumbling sound waves caused by his roar reverberated through the air, scattering the falling snowflakes. His breathing immediately became unhindered, and under the circulation of his soul power, he was able to clearly see that his sternum, ribs, and spine were emitting a jade-green glow.

This scene seemed beautiful, yet terrifying. A person's bones were suddenly emitting a light that could be seen through the skin; this was somewhat strange. At this moment, however, a halo of jade-green light suddenly spread out from his body, covering a ten-meter diameter around him in a jade-green light. It seemed as though the snowflakes within this area had increased in weight, causing them to fall to the ground with a crash. The moment they fell onto the piled-up snow, they cut out tiny holes, as if they were tiny knives.

However, that jade-green light only remained for an instant before vanishing quietly, a snow white light then illuminated the surrounding with even more majesty than the jade green light, it s source was Sei Meio's flesh. Following that, his body collapsed to the ground.

Two soul rings that flickered with a dazzling light rose up from the youth's feet. One more terrifying than the other. These soul rings were simply too bizarre; they shone with a terrifying blood-red light. These noble, cold soul rings that shone with a luster resembling a bloody sea emitted a boundless amount of might from it. There were also four golden patterns which were faintly discernible on the blood-red soul ring and another with seven golden patterns. The interwoven colors of red and gold were extremely dazzling amidst the snowy plains of ice. The instant these soul rings appeared, a suddenly transformation occurred to the youth's aura. A desolation that seemed to come from the ancient times appeared on his body.

His body was emanating a faint feeling of a desolate tyrant rearing its head and shaking the heavens and earth with its mighty roar.

There were no obvious changes to his body, but there was now an enormous tattoo on his back. There was a pair of pincers that flickered with a dazzling light, and a captivating, jade-green tail. Was that not the Ice Jade Empress Scorpion?

This tattoo was extremely large, practically covering his entire back. Its six limbs hugged his ribs, and its pincers were located on the back of his shoulders. Its long tail was followed his spine, continuing all the way till his backbone before it slanted to the right, ending on his right buttock.

However that was the least, underneath and surrounding this tattoo was another similar ice blue tattoo of a beautiful lady surrounded by mist on her face and mist that clothed her body with ice, who was this if not the Snow Empress intertwined with the Ice Empress, these two tattoos and incredible chemistry as they decorated his back, the icey blue tattoo was especially dazzling.

Poor Skydream even the tattoos had great chemistry while he had nothing.

It was the same size as the other tattoo but it had a more ethereal and powerful feel, it matched with the youth's hair and eyes and it was in a seemingly eternal dance with the scorpion on his back.

Other than the enormous tattoo, the youth's greatest transformation was in his hands. His hands were now covered in a layer of extremely detailed diamond-like hexagons, which were about the size of a bean. If you looked at him as a whole, the resplendent luster coming from his arms also brightened the enormous tattoo on his back. Naturally, all of these changes, other than the one that had occurred to his hands, would be hidden if he had clothes on.

His body was also covered in mysterious armour, these were two of the four skills that he inherited from the Ice Empress, the skills of his soul ring. The other two were within his soul bone.

Suddenly his first soul ring shone as a light gathered in his right hand, the entire region of ice and snow within a hundred meters of him suddenly gathered within his right palm, forming a power of absolute zero capable of freezing even the soul and spiritual power. But alas he was too weak, if it was the Snow lady who did that, who knows how much snow would have condensed. He was After all just a weak two ringed soul grandmaster. The snowless glacier skill was an ultimate technique that had tremendous power, one of three.

His palm spread as he dissipated the power he just gathered before tightly grasping air and calling the ice creating a deep blue sword entirely made up of ice crystals. With a swing of the sword, a deep blue light appears and creates a fan-like projection that gradually grew lighter as it extends until it was finally white. It froze everything in its path and robbed him of all his soul power making him form a wry smile.

Even though he could use two of her skills, he wasn't qualified, same for the ice empress, they were both too draining for his current level of power, not to mention that he hadn't use the two skills in each of their soul bones, he was a bit worried at first but he instinctively knew what skills the Snow empress gave him, these two and the Pride of the Ice and Snow Empress, and Snowy Dance of the Brilliant Sun. That gave a total of four: Snowless Glacier, Unparalleled Chill, Pride of the Ice and Snow Empress, and Snowy Dance.

The Ice Empress gave him Ice Empress Pincer, Ice Empress Armor, Domain of Perpetual Ice and the Wrath of the Ice Empress.

It was still too soon however, for him to grasp the full power of these techniques. He picked up his trusty storage device, got dressed, tied the stone that whacked him in a string loop and tied it, the wore it like a necklace.

Spirit masters were divided into the two main categories battle spirit masters and tool spirit masters, and under these two main categories, they were also divided into smaller categories of food system, control system, battle system, healing system and so on. A spirit master's actual strength was closely related with spirit rings and spirit power. They themselves supplemented and complemented each other in the growth process.

His ice spirit and spear were assault types, his spirit eyes and necromancer spirit were control types. His path was already chosen and he had no problem with it. He was innately violent and loved to hit things.

His soul ring effects were perfect for attacking. However even then, nothing was set in stone. For his first mental soul ring he had: Spiritual Detection, Spiritual Interference, Spiritual Shock and Spiritual Sharing.

The second spirit ring would only have a measly imitation skill nothing compared to his first but it was crucial to hide his power.

Sei Meio hadn't realized it yet but the Snow Empress and Ice Empress soul bones had a synergistic effect with each other. The could become stronger together or mutually suppress each other. Naturally, the Icesky Snowlady had the leading role as it was the martial soul and the Ice jade empress scorpion was a Soul ring attached to her.

"What a drag!!! When will I ever catch a break!!!!!!!!" He yelled furiously into the Snow as he trudged the Snow heading for his other spirit ring, normally the perfectionist and arrogant he, would never accept a thousand year ring even if it was the limit he could handle but that ring had too many uses to give up so he'd make an exception.

If anyone knew that he was cussing after gaining a fourth martial soul (2nd of the 4), two hundred thousand year level spirit rings and spirit bones and was heading for a concealment ability yet dared to argue, they would hit him upside the head with a brick. And savour it as they did it again and again.

Sei Meio wasn't in a rush on his journey and instead stopped to meditate often, he had an inkling he was close to it despite only cultivating for less than a month, most likely it had to do with his spirit power being over level twenty, it must be spurring his mysterious heaven skill.

His body had undergone numerous changes within especially with the addition of the second Mysterious Water Pill in the crucial moment. Sei Meio hadn't noticed the tattoos on his back not did he notice that there were more tattoos all over his body, beneath his eyes were two devilishly charming icy hook like tattoos of a light blue color.

In addition to this, the back of his hands had a snowflake like sigil with sharp lines. Two larger versions of this sigil like snowflake were also present in his shoulders. Small inscription like markings of the ice blue shade as the other tattoos were also on his ankles. These were similar to the ice scorpion made green black tattoo that he had for his torso bone, these tattoos symbolized his first soul bone of the flesh/muscle type, first of its kind.

And in a moment, he seemed to hear a clear and melodious crack, immediately following, that hot current frenziedly dispersed, then again merged. Merging into a milky white stream. That originally winding little streamlet in a flash became a brook, congcong flowing, trailing, the blazing agony already disappearing, only leaving a comfortable warmth.

His body felt as if it was rebirthed several times. He felt like he underwent a complete metamorphosis where everything in his body was swapped, blood, muscle, viscera, bone, meridians and tissue. It was like he was an entirely different person.

Now his energy was undergoing a similar metamorphosis.

Success. Wild joy once again arrived; Sei Meio wasn't familiar with this kind of breaking feeling like Tang San, but that clearly was the feeling of Mysterious Heaven skill's first bottleneck splitting open, internal strength merging together with the spirit ring's power, becoming an even more formidable energy, within this extremely brief time, at full speed going around within his body's energy passages revolving several circuits, slowly flowing into his dantian.

Mysterious Heaven skill's every tier corresponded to a spirit master title so he probably would soon have another breakthrough since he was at the second rank of a spirit master yet he only just broke through the first layer. His soulforce was quickly and smoothly circulating through his passageways and meridians after they had undergone a change in quality the level of nourishment they offered to his body and it's passageways had increased, deep blue soulforce simmered as they flowed like water throughout his entire body carrying a smooth releasing feeling.

As Sei Meio circulated the Mysterious Heaven Skill, he felt the vague feeling of sending and connecting one of his meridians, it was close yet so far away, evidently now wasn't the opportune time. The sensation of his soulforce had yet to cease enthralling him, even after several cycles of full circulation he was still slightly intoxicated and didn't wish to stop.

His bones and muscles were extremely itchy witch a few vague stretch marks here and there at the joints in his body, he had completed a pseudo artificial growth spurt in a short amount of time, so his body had yet to fully adapt to its new status. However each fibre of his being was bursting with power and he felt like he could punch a hole in the earth right now.

The Mysterious Water pill and the previous events had fully morphed his constitution, his meridians were wider and thicker, soulforce flowed through them smoothly without blockage, his cultivation speed had once again increased, he could now accomplish what he could before in just a tenth of the time.

His talent was no longer mediocre. The changes he experienced in addition of the feeling of rebirth were to many to account almost indescribable, he felt transcendent like he had sprouted wings and not just one pair of wings either but an entire eight pairs of transcendent wings.

Absorbing the spirit ring and breaking through just now brought about a kind of unfolding clear feeling that was impossible to describe in words, like floating to and fro high in the clouds not subject to gravity, also like entering the pinnacle of extreme bliss. All over his whole body, thirty six thousand pores without exception stretched open, greedily respiring wonderful air, the fundamental change already made amazing changes occur in Sei Meio's body However they were incomparable to the growth he just experienced from fusing with two hundred thousand year soul rings and soul bones and also another martial soul.

He had grown to height of 170cm, his shoulders were broad, unbeknownst to him even his facial features had changed as the bones and the muscles in his face were altered when he was enduring the excruciating pain from his first and second soul bones. He looked handsome with a tinge of mysteriousness within his pupils, his face was smooth without overly masculine lines but he still looked mature with his brows and slightly rose nose. His chin wasn't round nor were the sides of his face however they weren't overly masculine either, but if a smooth delicate charming look though not yet girlish.

His figure was finely sculpted showing a mass of muscles cutting across his entire body, his and were particularly pronounced as we're his pecks however despite their presence being evident the thickness of his muscles had yet to arrive at the 'buff' level, his figure was lean muscular and agile like a cheetah.

His hair had also grown somewhat with a few thin lithe strands of light ice blue strands covering his right eye and being roused by the strong winds of the Extreme North along with his tied up long hair than was loose now from the piece of cloth he used to tie it up being ripped apart from the wind.

As he trudged through the snow he was at home, his clothes and hair fiercely fluttering but his body remaining still and ramrod straight. The Ice and Snow surrounding him and clashing against his body felt like a soothing bath that nourishes his skin. His ice martial soul was of the Ultimate Ice and Snow Attribute causing his ice to already possess the title of unrivalled.

If anyone saw him right now they'd be astonished, the snow was actually making way for him, there were no soulforce undulations either meaning it wasn't even a soul skill!

Even Titled Douluo would be affected by his ice, however he was years away from beating one as the soulforce expenditure they could use far outstripped his and it would only waste a bit of their time. Sei Meio thought this wasn't worth mentioning but to anyone else this was a world shaking matter, after all someone four or more rings below someone couldn't possibly hurt them even if they had their guard down but Sei Meio could. Although With their reaction time he'd be swatted like a fly in a single second as soon as they noticed.

All that Sei Meio could think right now was to try out his new power and fully unleash the power within him , he'd use every single thing within his arsenal while he still could in this foggy North where man was absent, after all there was a needs to conceal a certain portion of his abilities when he was back within society, so he'd run wild amidst the snow while he still could and enjoy himself to the fullest.

"Woooooooooooooooooohoooo!!!!!!!" With a howl Sei Meio gathered strength in his legs and leapt up into the sky letting the whole world hear his his cries of passion and thrill.
